Incredible. I am completely immersed in this series. My wife asked me why I’m so tired this morning. She doesn’t realize I’ve been paddling the Yukon and just survived a hailstorm! Sheesh

That has to be one of the best videos I've ever watched on UA-cam mate. That entire scene of getting off the water to set up camp, watching the clouds roll in and the rain approach. You had Laura shouting at the TV "He's left the lid off his barrel" Then when the storm hit, on my word! Top class filming.
Thank youuuuuu!! hahaha yeah apparently quite a few people have been shouting at the TV re the barrel lid LOL!!!! So silly hahaha but honestly was one of the best moments of the trip, man I felt so alive there and so grateful my tent had held up and my canoe was still with me!

Just went through both episodes back to back , incredible journey , and my best outdoor adventure video of the year yet that I have seen ! I'm looking at Jim Baird's trip in Yukon at the same time , but you beat him 10 to nothing for entertainment , even if I like him a lot . When I saw you in the tent during the hail storm and filming , I saw the barrel open , I was yelling , " the barrel the barrel ! " When I saw no movement from you to go outside and close it , I said to myself , it must be empty ...oupsy, it was not 🫣 . Looking forward for the next one , thanks!

Just discovered your channel today, really enjoy your content. Watched part 1 and 2, it was so fun. I will have a lot of fun watching your past videos and upcoming ones. My favorite place to be is in the wilderness. I definitely subcribed, safe travels!
Welcome aboard buddy!! Thanks for watching, there are a lot of past adventures which I'm sure you will like, take your time and enjoy!! That's my favourite place to be in also, wilderness ! See you on the next one mate!
Was so excited to see part two and it did not disappoint. such a beautiful video, What a gorgeous place you chose and what a beautiful river. I love being out in storms so that is just a very fun thing. Praying for you looking forward to many adventures with you, Blessings
Thank you so much Teri! So glad you liked this part too! Me too , Absolutely loved the storms , the sound of the rain on the fly of the tent 🏕️ was heavenly ! And the thunder and lightning was so exciting !! As was the hail! (Once I realised my tent would survive lol)
You are so fun to travel with. Love your outlook on things. I love the openness with which you share, It's just fun, I'm so your sense of humor. You and Xander Budnick shouldn't hook up, you guys would be a blast together. So this grandma's gonna have to adopt you too, I live in portland oregon and you're about the age of my grandson. Blessings, Grandma Teri
Hi Grandma Teri 🫶❤️!! Thanks so much for your wonderful comment , I love it!! I would absolutely LOVE to do something with Xander one day, love love his content and personality! Sending many blessings back to you !! 🙌😀
Love watching these longer solo movies. Again I commend your bravery, Eze. Even in the thick of it when things seem dangerous you keep your head on you. Such an inspiration. After the fact you have tens of thousands of people watching, but when you're our there alone do you ever get nervous? I know it brings you such peace out there, but man thinking about it sometimes gives me anxiety 😂
I had that nervous "I'm alone feeling" earlier in my adventures, mostly in the beginning, but now I really don't ... I think talking to the camera helps!
Absolutely Great!! I'm loving the adventure but loving your whole attitude and unbridled joy even more. Ironic that your"...inspiration", Jim Baird, was up there at around the same time and I passed on the dedication you shared in Ep 1 to him while watching his vid. So happy for you Eze; keep em coming. Pete from Australia
Thanks so much Pete!!! Yeah incredible, we missed each other by about a week! Thanks for passing that message on to him, maybe one day I'll be able to share an adventure with Jim - that would be epic! Part 3 coming soon! Much love to Australia
#40:00 min mark storm u filmed it great - Tip: If you reduced shutter on Go Pro by using ND filter in rain u can see the drops streaking by way more realistic - Thanks !
That shot at 0:07...pretty sure you've set the tent up in the living room and put a painting in front of the door. 🤣 Another superb edition of your incredible adventure. Edit and music perfectly done. I got to sleep amongst beaver on a river here in the UK this week, my new second favourite animal.
Haha yeah absolutely stunning !! Waking up to that is just 🤯amazing !! So glad you liked the music combination 💪. Aaah no way where was that?? (Beavers) in UK. So cool, I absolutely love that animal 🦫
@@EzeAdventurer Tamar River on the Devon and Cornwall border. I saw them by torch light but didn't get them on film sadly, though I got plenty of evidence. I'll be returning.
What a trip eze those storms were gnarly man thank god your canoe was safe and your food was ok , nature at its best eh but defo an experience for sure this is amazing so much beauty all around what more could we ask for take care and all the best 👍👌❤️🙏
What a trip, stunning. Me and a friend looked into doing the Yukon river would have been there this year, it’s still on the bucket list. Your trip makes me want to do it even more.
Welcome to wonderful Canadian weather, gotta love it! It can be quite scary though. I was on a smallish mountain range once when on a multi-day backpacking trip and was stormed stayed due to a hurricane that passed by off shore. I must admit though, as scary as it was, it was exhilarating! I am betting this will be a trip you will never forget and perhaps you will go back! I hear once the Yukon gets a hold on you, it is not easy to separate from it. It is definitely on my bucket list, let's hope I get the chance! Wonderful Part 2, thanks for sharing. :) :)
That storm sounds exhilarating as you say, really do hope you get to go and yes you're right, it's definitely got a massive hold of me, can't wait to go back there! Thanks for the support!
Just brilliant, buddy! What a storm that was, I could see you'd left the lid of your blue container, I wanted to reach out and tell you 😂. Look forward to the next one.
Looks like you had the time of your life! That wild mixed weather is the best kind you can have - for all those beautiful shots you got but also just to be there as the weather changes is so beautiful. I used to use the same tent back when I only had one dog, so I'm very familiar with that view! Great job on the fishing too!
Cheers bud, totally agree. Love the variety of the weather, makes everything so unique and interesting, I loved every second !!! It's a great tent, I think massively underrated given the price. And it's honestly been with me on close to 60+ nights of adventure in very diverse climates, still doing well. Super tent :-)
I have really been enjoying watching your Yukon trip videos. THANKS! Someone may have suggested this ny now, but if you orient your tent and canoe parallel to the wind, it will be much less likely to cause damage, allow rain into your tent or send your canoe into the river. See you on the water Cheers!
Thanks so much yes indeed the tent orientation should have been parallel, I was so caught up in filming and scrambling with every minute counting that I barely had time to think at all (hence forgetting the barrel open lol!). Glad you liked it and hope to see u on the water!
@@EzeAdventurer Yeah, as a viewer it's easy to forget you are setting up cameras and dealing with all the other necessities too lol. I'm glad nothing much got ruined in your barrel. I love your spirit, humor and expressions of gratitude. Thanks again for sharing
Hahah yeah the filming does take quite a bit of time, but I love doing it, it's part of the trip! You're welcome, and thank you for coming along, I appreciate the kind support!@@RnRMonster
❤ fantastic eze, thanks for sharing this trip with us as most of us will never get to experience a adventure like this. Who needs a Wilson when you have a Bethany 😂😂. Those storms looked epic. Maxx
Hahah exactly Bethany was such great company! She had strong character, but we got along. Thanks so much for coming along the adventure and for your support as always. It means a lot to me, you've been supporting me since day one.
Stunning trip Eze, Yukon really is something else!!, I’m a bit behind on the series, I don’t get much chance to sit still for over an hour often…that weathers no joke at times is it!! loved the time lapse at end with the storm incoming…quality editing as usual 👌🏻
Welcome to the wild weather swings of the North American Mountains! I hiked in once in shorts and 70 degree sunny weather, then woke up to 5 inches of snow the next day. Good tent to make it through that.
Amazing trip to a very wild part of the world. Having lived in the Yukon for 3 years I certainly felt nostalgic watching. I was a lot concerned by your choices of such open exposed campsites in that weather. That hail storm could have ended your trip. Also surprised that you did not see moose often along the river banks. Looking forward to more!
Thanks so much! Yeah to be honest the availability of camp sites was quite limited.. and I wanted to keep progressing. Treed campsites were few and far between, and the bugs were pretty horrendous. Yeah the storm could have ended the trip, but the tent did exceptionally well and I was in high spirits for most of it! Me too regarding the Moose, I was expecting to see many
Thanks so much and welcome aboard! Those maps are by Mike Rourke, they are only available in printed format. I bought from the outfitter in Yukon and they posted to me in UK in advance of my trip so I could prepare
For a moment I thought @michaelwright956 comment was mine. Until now I've only continuously watched 2 back country channels... Lost Lakes and Xander Budnick...Eze will be my third....I just need to figure out his nationality... what a great guy and production... just incredible. Thanks my man!
@@EzeAdventurer Wow..... and here I was thinking eastern Europe. So, as an Argentinian, you might check out Gotan Project on your streaming music service...Euro-Tango.... thanks
last weekend i was for 3 nights at wilderness..it was less rain but more wind..we setup tent feet side against to wind..that point more safe and less shake..because feet side more narrow than head side..and you should turn your canoe narrow side against to wind that point will not move
Yes good points! I usually do that but I was scrambling so much I didn’t get much thinking / processing time ! Thanks for the tip tho ! Keep adventuring mate !
Very nice, enjoyed part two as much as the first. Can't wait for the next 😊 Funny to see you eat Drytech food from us here in Norway, Real Turmat. It is our go to dry meals of course, never seen it in been used in videos outside of Norway. You use the same paddling gloves as me, you can see them in my Femundsmarka film and some other videos on my channel. Good to see they holding up on a grand expedition in Yukon 👍You should do an adventure here in Norway some day. Have a nice day man 😊
Thanks so much my Norwegian friend!! Norway is HIGH on the list of target. I cannot wait to explore and adventure there . Any recommendations? Where is the absolute wildest place to visit there??
@@EzeAdventurer Lots of places wich is quite spectacular here in Norway, but the wildest parts of Norway may be Børgefjell or the perhaps some parts of the highlands of Northern Norway. But Jotunheimen National Park and Femundsmarka National Park is a favorite of mine. Since you like to paddle canoe, then I can recommend to drive to Käringsjön in Sweden wich has canoe rental, and start your adventure there and paddle into Norway through Rogen Nature Reserve and Femundsmarka National Park. A fantastic trip wich can be done in a week or so if you take your time and enjoy the fishing and nature.

Great work mate and picked the weather twice woohoo do you know the weather in Victoria Australia sat 9th sun 10th haha feel like a camping trip after your inspiration 👍
Another fantastic video, thank you. How much of your equipment did you bring with you from the U.K. As opposed to the a mount you bought or hired at the start of the trip?
Eze, it’s rain, not lava! Put on your rain gear and paddle. It’s a river not some huge wide lake. *okay, that one at 1:09:00 I’d have sought shelter for absolutely! 22:30 isn’t it funny how the more firewood you saw, the longer the pieces get? 😆
Yeah it's not so much the rain itself, it's more the threat of what's possibly coming, and some stretches of 10-15km without any proper shelter / camping options can make you nervous about continuing on the river etc! haha re the firewood.. totally!
Yeah mate, I was in between bringing my dd 3x3 tarp and the amok hammock one, the extra tarp would have been nice, but to be honest I was happy with what I brought, less faffing around and quick deployment of camp, and packing away etc
@@EzeAdventurer I hear you! quick deployment and tear down is key especially on trips like this where you covered so much ground. I use a tiny asymmetrical tarp that came from a hammock (Hennessy asym ultralight?? I think??), great thing about is it only has 4 tie out points (ridge line and 2 corners), makes for super easy setup and takedown.
@@EzeAdventurer hahaha those darned English squirrels!! Didn't know they needed silnylon for their nests too 😂. They must be more sophisticated than their Canadian counterparts 🐿️
Thanks so much, no I wasn't so worried to be honest, I think it would take a lot of rain to move the needle much over this quite large waterway system. The storms tend to be pockets too and they move through the land, so it's not so so much water overall
Sleeping on a gravel bar in a rain storms isn't very safe. I Had friends out fishing that did that once in Tennessee the water rose up and they almost didn't make it to higher ground and lost lot of gear. Flooding and rising water isn't something to play around with. All by yourself it just isn't safe. You just don't know how much it's raining up river from you. That said it's very beautiful, love the scenery. thanks for sharing.
Mate what an adventure so far! Absolutely loving the series so far 👌🏻 some beauty fish caught bud, and that greyling in the fish crisp looked unreal. Are you even in Canada if you don't get caught in an epic storm haha 😂😂 looking forward to the next installment bud 🤜🏻🤛🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks mattttyyyy!! what an epic adventure dude... I'm slowly starting to shift my attention to the "what's next" feeling now... oh no... here we go again lol! Def not a true Canadian experience without epic storm lol. Final Part 3 coming up next Sunday xx
Thanks so much. Good question and yes it's a risk always. I'm only doing that on creeks that are coming from very high altitude (I check on my maps and can see they come from about 1200m up). The temperature of the water is freezing, indicating v high likelihood that it's coming from snowmelt. (I measured the water temp once and it was 7c, vs the river water being around 18c+). Also, Giardia takes 7-10 days to set in I think. There's always a risk
I agree with the old man with tears in his eyes. Same for this old lady. Thank you for sharing

Was absolutely epic!! A lot of fun in hindsight actually! Thanks for watching matey!
Keep up the amazing work buddy 🙌
Really enjoying following your journey - that hail storm was bonkers! Inspirational.
Was feeling ALIVE!!! WOOOHOOOO !! thanks for watching part 3 coming this Sunday
Also I absolutely love your cinematography and your choice of music, it is beautiful. ❤
Thank youuuu Teri !!! 🙏. If you like that you will love part 3, it’s very beautiful landscapes and lots of beautiful music to match, stay tuned 😀
@@EzeAdventurer I surely will, Be safe, Blessed and have a wonderful time.
I really like your content i can see that Jim Baird encouraged you, He is a beast and I see you can hold your own .
Thanks so much, he really has inspired me !
What an adventure so far.. Absolutely loving this Eze, that storm looked a scary one while in a tent. Cant wait for the next one.
Thanks so much Dave appreciate it! Yeah was a hell of a storm, fun times lol!
Really enjoyed thank you for everything
Hey thanks so much!! 💪👊🙌🫶
Take care mate.
Hey if you ever share a camp with JB, I'd love to see you compare menus!!
Absolutely amazing brother 😎👋🍺
Thank you kindly!!
#40:00 min mark storm u filmed it great - Tip: If you reduced shutter on Go Pro by using ND filter in rain u can see the drops streaking by way more realistic - Thanks !
aaah interesting thanks for the tip!! I'm always interested to learn these things and improve, thank you! Will need to look into this further to learn
That shot at 0:07...pretty sure you've set the tent up in the living room and put a painting in front of the door. 🤣
Another superb edition of your incredible adventure.
I gotta say man, I watch a lot of videos like yours (Joe Robinet, Shawn James, Jim Baird), and I am now a fan! Great work! You have to come to Quebec!
Btw, great filming and editing
Awesome man, and welcome aboard!! I'd love to visit Quebec!! I want to visit ALL of CANADA!! What a beautiful country!!!
Thank you!!
What a trip eze those storms were gnarly man thank god your canoe was safe and your food was ok , nature at its best eh but defo an experience for sure this is amazing so much beauty all around what more could we ask for take care and all the best 👍👌❤️🙏
Thanks so much!! Was eventful for sure, had a blast! Part 3 coming soon
I'm really enjoying this series, Glad I found you channel!
Thanks so much, I’m glad you found me too!! 😀😀😀
What a trip, stunning. Me and a friend looked into doing the Yukon river would have been there this year, it’s still on the bucket list.
Your trip makes me want to do it even more.
Amazing you should do it!!
I look forward to part 3! Hurry up and release it alteady! 😉
hahah that' the spirit!! Thank you, coming this Sunday!!
Outstanding trip.
Thanks my friend!
Just brilliant, buddy! What a storm that was, I could see you'd left the lid of your blue container, I wanted to reach out and tell you 😂. Look forward to the next one.
Hahaha tell me next time lol!!! Thanks mate part 3 coming up soon!
Oh shitake! Watching the shenanigans again 😊
hahahahaha niceeee
Oh, I like it. Wish I was there.
Thanks so much! Glad to have you aboard!
@@EzeAdventurer rrrr thanks eze, I love yr chanel, as long as your putting your adventure for us to see I will be watching lol. Maxx
Thank you 🙂!!!@@maxineredfern3380
Stunning trip Eze, Yukon really is something else!!, I’m a bit behind on the series, I don’t get much chance to sit still for over an hour often…that weathers no joke at times is it!! loved the time lapse at end with the storm incoming…quality editing as usual 👌🏻
Thanks so much brother, glad you liked it!!
Welcome to the wild weather swings of the North American Mountains! I hiked in once in shorts and 70 degree sunny weather, then woke up to 5 inches of snow the next day. Good tent to make it through that.
That's insane dude!! What an awesome Experience that must have been though! Yeah impressed with the tent for sure thanks!
You are a brave man! Great video of an amazing adventure. Those mosquitoes would drive me mad tho 😂
Inspirational 👍
Thanks Dave appreciate that!! Yeah they were maddening at times, but became a bit of a constant and wasn't too bad in the end lol
Me too regarding the Moose, I was expecting to see many
You have really nice channel. Just found it couple of days ago. Question with the maps you are showing at 29:44, from where did you get then?
Thanks so much and welcome aboard! Those maps are by Mike Rourke, they are only available in printed format. I bought from the outfitter in Yukon and they posted to me in UK in advance of my trip so I could prepare
For a moment I thought @michaelwright956 comment was mine. Until now I've only continuously watched 2 back country channels... Lost Lakes and Xander Budnick...Eze will be my third....I just need to figure out his nationality... what a great guy and production... just incredible. Thanks my man!
Thank you my buddy!! I'm Argentinean 🇦🇷!! Appreciate the kind words welcome aboard the adventure express !!!
@@EzeAdventurer Wow..... and here I was thinking eastern Europe. So, as an Argentinian, you might check out Gotan Project on your streaming music service...Euro-Tango.... thanks
Cannot believe that tent did not rip the shreds!
I know, I was worried!
last weekend i was for 3 nights at wilderness..it was less rain but more wind..we setup tent feet side against to wind..that point more safe and less shake..because feet side more narrow than head side..and you should turn your canoe narrow side against to wind that point will not move
Yes gloves doing well! I'll have to check out your video too thank you. and love Real Turmat, just hoping / waiting for them to sponsor me lol
@@EzeAdventurer My videos or only in Norwegian though, so I guess it will be difficult to understand :)
Thank you, copy pasting this straight into my notes for potential trips under Norway!!@@MartinHJ
What is the make of your sleeping pad and pump to blow it up. It looks very good. You did very well in the hail reading the weather before it hit.
Thermarest X-therm, it's the best piece of kit I own, absolutely love it. The pump is by flextailgear

Thank you!!!
Great work mate and picked the weather twice woohoo do you know the weather in Victoria Australia sat 9th sun 10th haha feel like a camping trip after your inspiration 👍
hahaha thanks so much, I'll pass on any Ozzie forecasts for now :-) YESS GO CAMPING - you will feel good!
Another fantastic video, thank you. How much of your equipment did you bring with you from the U.K. As opposed to the a mount you bought or hired at the start of the trip?
Thanks ! Brought almost everything from UK. Even my own paddles.
Hired: Canoe.
You can hire tons of kit if you need to
Eze, it’s rain, not lava! Put on your rain gear and paddle. It’s a river not some huge wide lake. *okay, that one at 1:09:00 I’d have sought shelter for absolutely!
22:30 isn’t it funny how the more firewood you saw, the longer the pieces get? 😆
Yeah it's not so much the rain itself, it's more the threat of what's possibly coming, and some stretches of 10-15km without any proper shelter / camping options can make you nervous about continuing on the river etc!
haha re the firewood.. totally!
Pretty nice trip Eze, should bring a small tarp for those sudden rainstorms. Then you don't need to be confined in your tent for cooking 😅
I know exactly the one you mean, I had it too same brand but something chewed the ends off in my garden lol!!@@DerekSOutdoors
@@EzeAdventurer hahaha those darned English squirrels!! Didn't know they needed silnylon for their nests too 😂. They must be more sophisticated than their Canadian counterparts 🐿️
Really enjoying this series!!!
What make/model is your chair?
Can’t wait for e3
Thanks so much my friend! It's the trekology one, really love it! Last episode (part 3) coming this Sunday!
I would like this more than once if I could.
haha THANK YOU!!
Would love to get the name of your hammock set up. Wonderful series, great videography. Appreciate you.

Great video! Were you worried about rising river levels when camping on that island?
Thanks so much, no I wasn't so worried to be honest, I think it would take a lot of rain to move the needle much over this quite large waterway system. The storms tend to be pockets too and they move through the land, so it's not so so much water overall
Very Nice, Well done! What model Wenonah is that?
I forgot the name and I can't seem to find the model anywhere I will double check and revert!
Greetings from Norway! Nice work&hike. Norway next?
Greeetings good sir! Norway is HIGH on the list, I can't wait to visit there, just a matter of time!!
True words!
Final Part 3 coming up next Sunday xx
love the videos .. just curious ... dont you think its risky drinking that water without filtering it.. beaver fever would be a rough go out there.
