Yeah, I don't know, lots of chefs in places like Chicago and the entire Northeast (Philly, New York, Boston, etc.) would disagree with you. There, they have been serving steak burgers for a long, long time. A thinly sliced steak with all the toppings in between two buns.
The first Wingstop was in Garland, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. (My Grandmother lived in Garland which is the next town north of where I grew up in Mesquite, Texas.) It looks like the cut of the fried potatoes are a little different in the UK compared to the US Wingstop fries. The US fries are cut with the jacket still on the potato. (It's been a while since I've eaten at Wingstop, so at least they used to have jacket on fries). Mr. and Mrs. Haitch, bring some rain gear on your visit because the forecast says it will be raining in Texas on Wednesday and Thursday (the 4th and 5th) with daytime highs in the 80s and 90s Fahrenheit. Be sure to bring light jackets for night-time because the temps will dip into the 60s Fahrenheit. A warning: Texas weather is very schizophrenic so expect anything! Welcome to Texas and enjoy your visit!
😂 Americans have alittle more in common with the people of India in that there are certain foods we eat with our hands . And we enjoy messy food because messy usually equals delicious 😋
When you're in Texas, try the churros, fried ice cream, flan, and tres leches cake (the best!) for Mexican desserts. Also, if you find it, try agua fresca, which is fresh fruit, pureed with ice and sugar. So refreshing! My favorite is watermelon and cantaloupe.
Plan your next trip to South Carolina for some original whole hog BBQ with great southern sides...Then you can down the street for a seafood buffett! So many different food styles here...

hey y'all how's it it going?....❤ from Yuma Arizona....I haven't gone to Wing Stop before....I just usually go to Hooters for the Parmesan Garlic boneless wings
I work at a Wingstop in Texas so exciting to see your perspective! Although, as is expected, the packaging is quite different than what we use and we don't serve coleslaw either. But glad you liked the items!
Alana is so adorable. Here in L.A, WingStop is a sponsor of the Los Angeles Lakers NBA team. There's a WingStop across the street from me, Haven't been in there in a few years to order anything for myself, but a few months ago, stood nearby while a family friend ordered some from themselves. Tip for next time you get the Mango 🥭 habanero wings, dip them in to ranch dip, that'll cool down some of the kick.
I've been going to Wingstop for years. Wingstop has been everywhere in America for years. Most locations are open until midnight so I've gone to Windstop for a late night meal for years. My usual order use to be Hawaiian flavor and Garlic Parmesan flavor. Lemon Pepper used to be my favorite as well!
@marydavis5234 I just looked up on the internet how many Wingstops there are. There are 1843 locations in 46 states. So that's almost everywhere except for 4 states.
Texas, of course I've wingstopped :D Our local one is one of the WWII war planes decorated. I don't have a favorite, but we always get the atomic and something mild. I didn't know they had a Korean. I'll have to look for it.
Love y’all’s videos! Keep ‘em coming! I live in the states and you have tried so many great looking things that I’ve tried more foods in my own country than I’ve even tried in my whole 38 years in my own country! Good work!
I get their boneless Cajon (the Cajon sauce is the Louisiana rub mixed with the original buffalo sauce, try it out) and Hawaiian. Love their boneless wings because the chunks of chicken are better than most other wing places. And their ranch is awesome. I actually prefer literally every other restaurant-made ranch over Hidden Valley.
With the flats(the pieces that don't look like a drumstick), twist the ends and all the meat will come clean off. I'm from Garland, Tx, where Wingstop came from, so I've had them many, many times. 😋 Try the fries dipped in the Ranch.
We don't have Wingstop in Montana. I had it somewhere in Indiana once on a cross country trip. I remember not being impressed, nor was my son. But, with these chains, sometimes individual places can be off because of some variables. Popeye's can be hit and miss too. Although, no Popeye's here, have had it on trips. There is one over in Missoula and I believe one is opening in Great Falls. The one in Billings closed. LOL, I can get a massive prime rib meal that will last me 2 days here for under that amount.
Good afternoon y'all. I hope you're well! I love Wingstop and Buffalo wild wings. I go there to watch football all the time. Not long ago they had a chicken wing shortage for some reason I can't remember why and they were serving chicken thighs instead.... The chicken thighs are way Superior in my humble opinion. Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend.
I like slaw on a sauced chicken sandwiched. My favorite chicken place in Austin is called Lucy's Fried Chicken. They have a dynamite chicken sandwich with honey-mustard slaw. It's called the Revival. Also, best chicken & waffles in Austin (which is a foodie city, by the way.)
Wingstop is around 20 years old. I'd only heard of it recently myself. We have some near me but I haven't tried it because like Mrs. H, I'm not much for wings (other than Paul McCartney's post Beatles group). I may try it one day though after watching this. Thank you so much for correcting the 'burger' name. I don't know how so many other countries took our word for ground meat and made it into the word for any sandwich served on a bun, but it's good to know that's not what it is in America. Should you ask for a chicken burger in the US you most likely will not get what you're expecting if you get anything at all. There is a HUGE difference between a turkey burger (a hamburger made with ground turkey instead of ground beef) and a turkey sandwich, which would be made with either turkey leftovers from Thanksgiving or cold cuts, whether served on a bun or not. If you ask for a fish burger you'll most likely only get strange looks. You've got me going online to check the menu of the Wingstop down the street. Interestingly for dessert they offer a triple chocolate chunk brownie. They have sandwiches and tenders as well so even though I may not go for wings they have some other stuff that looks pretty good.
Shoutout, Texas here. Everything that you tried looks extremely different from what you will find at a Wingstop over here. I mean they are the same menu items, but the chicken and slaw, it just looks different. Maybe you could get some Texas Wingstop in a few weeks to compare?
Not sure how long you will be in Texas, but Culver’s (which you tried in Florida), also has locations in Texas. In October, Culver’s is bringing back their Curderburger sandwich for a limited time. I think around Oct. 14. The burger is basically their Butterburger Deluxe with a large, deep fried natural cheese curd patty on top, which is white and yellow cheese curds lightly pressed together to form the patty shape. I actually live about twenty miles from the family owned dairy that produces all Culver’s cheese curds, near Stanley, Wisconsin.
Some people rave about Culver's - - there are three - near me (within about 15 miles) I have tried all three and don't find them to be anything special. Their food is o.k. - it is definitely edible but I was more impressed with the frozen custard.....I liked it the best.....everything else....just o.k.
Chicken wigs got expensive over the years. I used to get a bucket of wings=50 for $35. Now they are $85. I worked at Ancher bar when I was 18. I can make my own wings at home.
My wingstop order is pretty plain lol I always get boneless wings, half bbq and half lemon pepper with lemon pepper tossed fries and extra ranch to dip all of it (including the fries!)
Just camecin from cleaning the yard up for winter andcwas hoping something was on to watch with my coffee ☕ Wings are one of my favorite go to meals . Am older and live alone so there easy and clean up is easy . Try mixing low sodium Soy sauce brown sugar and garlic together and marinate in a zip lock ( less mess and flip it every time you open the fridge ) I like to marinate them for 2 days . Grill or oven YUM even though their not hot I still like to dip in blue cheese. Texas Pete i also like to marinate in too then heat up some to pourr over the top after cooking. Dam off to take out some wings from the freezer for a weekend dinner 😂 ❤❤❤
Wingstop is my go-to chicken place. They have the best ranch out of them all imo. Not really a fan of the original spice fries myself. I wish they were just normal salty, but they're still edible. Dangit, now I'm gonna have to get Wingstop lol

My hubby & I have a Wingstop right up the road from us.
As a Louisianan I did not know wingstop had a Louisiana. Flavor
The churros brings back a lot of memories.
Good stuff 👍
Just camecin from cleaning the yard up for winter andcwas hoping something was on to watch with my coffee ☕ Wings are one of my favorite go to meals . Am older and live alone so there easy and clean up is easy . Try mixing low sodium Soy sauce brown sugar and garlic together and marinate in a zip lock ( less mess and flip it every time you open the fridge ) I like to marinate them for 2 days . Grill or oven YUM even though their not hot I still like to dip in blue cheese. Texas
Pete i also like to marinate in too then heat up some to pourr over the top after cooking. Dam off to take out some wings from the freezer for a weekend dinner 😂 ❤❤❤
While I watched you guys tasting wing-stop I was eating Texas Bill Millers here in Texas 😃 cheers 🤙🏽
Wingstop is my go-to chicken place. They have the best ranch out of them all imo.
Not really a fan of the original spice fries myself. I wish they were just normal salty, but they're still edible.
Dangit, now I'm gonna have to get Wingstop lol
Baby H is a rock star🤜🤛🇺🇲💪
OMG, she is the funniest!!!!!
Ive been getting wingstop for my birthday dinner since i was a young kid(Im 25 now. I usually go for the original wings with Cajun Fries
Love the Louisiana rub and lemon pepper from wingstop.
The ranch at the stores in America is better than hidden valley ranch.
The barbecue wings are my favorite and I get to sweet tea
