Im 31, i suffered from cocaine and alcohol addiction in particular for about 3-4 years before this year but suffered from general drug addiction and alcohol since i was 18. I want to share with you, wherever you are, whoever you are, that i woke up on january 8th this year after months of hating what i saw in the mirror on the verge of taking my life. It was in that moment i decided it was at least worth giving a sober life a try and im now about 6.5 months clean. I still have days that are so hard but i promise you i am proud of what i see in the mirror and if thats what you want for yourself then 1. Its not too late and 2. It is possible. You dont have to spend another fucking day feeling that way if you dont want. If whenever you make it to the rooms or if you already are know that i am rooting for you my friend.

All drug addiction is pain and suffering. But ive been amazed at how many people in sobriety ive met who had the particular problem of cocaine and alcohol. Your life just becomes wasted days of riding that roller coaster while everything around you falls apart. The good news though is that there is a solution.

I am 57 day days clean. 1 month at a rehab center. Now attending meetings daily. I agree that meetings are they way to go. Now I feel much better except huge amounts of anxiety that haven't seemed to get any better. I am hoping eventually it will disappear. The drugs and alcohol caused anxiety but also helped with it. :( thanks for your share

Great job brother and keep going. The anxiety and the emotional rollercoaster are the after-effects of using and throwing your body brain, and mind out of balance. If you work the 12 steps and live a healthy lifestyle, it will all eventually get better.

I’ve been using coke and alcohol now for years thinking it wasn’t a problem it was everyone else. My girlfriend kicked me out in November last year. And last week after a drink and coke binge and when I came around I owed my dealer £700. And when I couldn’t afford it he threatened to break my legs. I have to pay him in a couple of weeks when I’m paid. I’ve never been so scared. And that’s when I realised I have a problem, I need to stop drinking and using!

Ha, so now I see a lighted rock on the table. Would granite be better than plastic? Or perhaps it's the electric current contained in the filament that is The Source. Is it a mere 12 steps or is it One Step that One Day you'll discover it's not you who has taken but Somebody else. Let's see how long this channel lasts. Or are you like every other UA-camr who only does vlogging to get a thumbs up?

I'm honoured that you ask, but I'm currently working with 3 other guys and simply don't have the time. But plz go to a meeting and ask a recovered person there to be your sponsor. There are lots of ppl who will gladly help 🙏

With myself it’s not a case of the I’m doing too much cocaine it’s just I can’t stop the addictive behaviour I won’t do it for like a week and say to myself thank god I feel normal again then I will do it again a week later and be in the same cycle, today my anxiety is through the roof and I’m disappointed in myself and today I’ve decided enough is enough fuck alcohol and fuck cocaine it’s so shit and it can ruin your life even if your not abusing it!
