You can beat your addiction one small step at a time, remember to be proud of your progress no matter how small, and even if you steer off course don't give up but just re-adjust, we will all make it!

I respect so much of what this man has to say, but especially how he speaks on addiction. His talks on addiction are literally saving my life. I felt so hopeless until I listened to him. I really thought I couldn't ever get sober, that I wouldn't ever be the wife I wanted to be to my husband, that I was never going to get the privilege of being a good mother that I desperately wanted to be, or become at least a halfway decent Christian. I'm in the "recovery" process right now, but this is by far the closest to being at my goal that I have ever been since making the goal. I can't wait til this is all behind me and I'm with my husband at our 1st child's baptism. I have a ton of people to thank for getting me here, but this man's words were the inspiration that got the ball rolling.

You got this 10 months sober in 5 days first time in 40 years. I know you got this because those were the same reasons I became sober. Sad part is that I've probably lost my wife because of it, we still talk but she has been gone from our family for the same 10 months. I did watch my 10 year old daughter get baptized last month, my children love me more than they ever had. Sad when they tell you, that you were a real jerk when you were drinking and they like you better now. The Christian part is really good for me also, I'm far from perfect. When I decided to stop (though a little to late) I asked God to help me, I know He did because 12 plus beers a day for 40 years don't stop without Devine intervention. So keep up the good work, I'll pray for you.

Congratulations!! This is motivation for me. I’m still wrestling with the decision to become sober. Sometimes it’s as if I’m not even in control of my thoughts. I want change in my life and I’m trying to get that to be my reality.

Get control of yourself, learn yourself. There is where you start. This is all you. No outsiders. You need to take full control of your actions and life., no one but you. Have control of you. So change your triggers and buttons. You are in control. You, you, you. ❤

This message is for someone who needs to hear this and will fully understand it... You are not define by your circumstance or your past. It’s not what happened to you that determines your success in life; it is how you deal with those circumstances that determines your success in life. You are strong, you are capable and practice forgiveness (Forgiveness is for you; forgive your parents or anyone whom we have chosen to hurt us, to begin the process of healing and freedom. Remember: Forgiveness is for you to be freed, healed and happy. It’s a RESET BUTTON) and practice gratitude everyday. This will change the course of your life forever. Love you always and I believe in you wholeheartedly no matter what ✨❤️ - Nat

I’ve been clean for 10 years from street drugs I’m been on methadone the whole time I want to get free from this addiction. But I’m scared I won’t make it I’ll be so sick I’ll loose my job I won’t be an attentive parent because I have no energy. And this fear is keeping me trapped I’m broken hearted all I want is to be like I was when I was clean before all this.
