OMG! 5 pedals. A Dualist single double on a tambourine and a kick on the right, a kick, hi-hat and a second snare drum on the left. Add in crazy transitions and crazy lightening hands. Such creativity, endurance and technique!
he does so many things I've never seen before as a drummer. I think debates about who's the "best" are kinda silly, but for sure he's adding a TON of new techniques and pushing the limits of what drummers can do.
It would be fair to say he's the most innovative drummer right now which is the main reason people are saying he's the best. In any field when you have someone raise the bar in ''music, sports or anything'' it makes you great. Is he the greatest, most skilled drummer to ever play, I wouldn't say so BUT he's still pretty young, I think he's not even in his 30's yet. He shows he's still improving, bringing new techniques, I think if he keep doing what he's doing, he could definitely be on the Mount Rushmore of drummers.
@@shootstraight91Also i think he comes from a metal background so he hits quite hard wich in my opinion just makes it even better sounding.

This man is a machine! I watched it yesterday and just like you I'm looking forward to see his band project, it's going to be interesting.
