Failure with a modern break down. I don’t hear your comparisons, I’m 45 and been writing music for 30 years. Drums for 35 years and piano bass guitar for like 27….
The intro with the pitch bend instantly reminded me of bullet for my valentine - tears don't fall (46 seconds in...), but love this, already bought and added to my offline collection as well as my Tidal playlist, can't wait to hear more from them!
I got early Breaking Benjamin meets Deftones from this one (& that's a solid compliment in my book!), but considering Peter & Chris play together in a jazz band, they likely have the musical chops to take us down all sorts of interesting paths.... & I'm 100% here for it!! :)
Sounds post-grunge meets nu-metal thus far, with interesting little glimmers of other things (got some R&Bish vibes). would love to hear what they'd be like going in a prog metal direction with some stuff. sounds like they would prolly be able to ride the line between listenable hard rock/metal & more challenging proggy stuff w/o going overboard
Its crazy how because of Estepario's massive following, this band will just skip the "up and coming stage" and just be huge and heard by millions right away. Knowing that, that's gotta be a lot of pressure on this first song for them. Smart of them easing us in this song. I cant wait to hear what the vocalist can do when they get heavier, you cant tell he's got the chops to yell/growl/scream and just tear it up. Great song, very Deftones/ Korn. In a previous video, Estepario mentioned Korn, Limp Bizkit, and System Of A Down being major influences so we know we are gonna get some interesting unpredictable stuff. This band could go in a lot of directions..
I feel the singer has a lot more rasp and growl that he was holding back here. He brings it out a bit at the end. I feel the dude can really do some heavy vocals if they wanted to.
excellent reaction homie! To me, Nu metal has turn table scratching, electronic aspect, or rapping over rock music To put Deftones or Tool into that category is nutty Korn tho for sure but to each their own
As a drummer myself, I am impressed with this "little BIG Engine" (band given nickname) Harupi!! 360° DRUMMING!! setlist LOVEBITES Haruna 8 songs remixed to put drums up-front. (cymbal work!) ua-cam.com/play/PLDrelmq7IszKuEUqRuDCXMtVuvQC0u-Ye.html 🐺 dreg👁
Has like an early naughtiness nu-metal vibe. I wasn't sure what to expect. With a Dummer who can easily overshadow the rest of the band. He's know mainly as a solo artist with all his crazy shit. I was more interested in how does he fit into a band.
Definitely old school nu metal vibes... Sounds like korn, sometimes very deftones.. The vocal in the verses reminds me of bush .. The opening riff is the same as the transition in voyager's ascend... So refreshing to here this style again by new bands...great song ...❤
@MTNReacts unfortunately they are a few artists that would have shadowed the rest of their bands. And he didn't even smoke on the video. Sorry, I've been binge watching his videos, and I could go on for days. But I'll try to keep it short. He had come out and said he's running out material to do his crazy drumming video.
I hear Deftones, Korn, Alice In Chains, and a bit of Tool. Peter and Chris are in a jazz band (Valmuz). They’re mad talented
Tool too definitely!
Thank you for posting the band name, watched some of their stuff. These guys can play!

@@mybrotherjames8579 cool story! Thanks for sharing 🫥
I really like it! Looking forward to hearing more from them!
omg the Korn comparison from the opening, is so true, I was trying to put my finger on it but I couldn't figure it out. Spot on.

I hear that! It’s a very good track.

Yessss Breaking Benjamin too! God I would love another classic album from them. I can’t wait to hear more from these though.

You are right, from what I've heard (Shaun Track youtuber) next songs are going to be more hardcore ("cañeras" as he says in Spanish)
LOVE IT!!
I'm sure they had influences from other bands, but that's a given. I loved it!
Yeah, alll artists have heavy influences 😂
amazing
Expectacular!!
If korn and deftones had a baby😂❤

I think we are gonna get more from him definitely.
Deftones + Korn + incubus = great mix
tool + korn + sevendust + perfect pitch sprinkle of a bit of chris cornell = the cost
Brilliant track I love it
A Perfect Circle vibes hard.

Korn meets Breaking Benjamin
They remind me of Lo-Pro's first album.
Korn 🤘🔥🤯

He fits perfectly and his drumming was still amazing and worked really well. I like the old school sound to it.

Deftones + Korn + Nirvana (smells like teen spirit)
He is right it was not for me. I had high hopes but that music was a bummer
The track is called Not For Me that wasn’t my reaction to it.
You’re just one person so never mind 😂 I think it’s great
Heavy melodic bands from the early 90’s. Failure, hum… not korn.
Sorry dad
