@@tnaplastic2182 While maybe true in benchmarks, what you get is still slower than the DVD drive speed and only a margin faster than USB. How are the loading times compared to DVDs?
Comparable, maybe DVD is slightly faster? But at expense of carrying around a binder of DVD's and wearing out your laser in the long run possibly.
@@ProjectPhoenixMedia Can you make a video comparing DVDs to SD card?
Hello i have 2 questions:
1. Which PS2 Slim Version did u used ? Does MCSX4IO works with 90001 version using Funtuna?
2. How to setup PS2 Console game with upsclase configuration using LED monitor ?
1) I have tested on slim 75001 and 90001 model. MX4SIO works well on both versions. Although I use Fortuna rev 2, Funtuna should work 2. 2) That I have no idea, unless look into GSM, which I don't really use.
do cut scenes lag like they would on usb ?
Shouldn't based upon testing I've done so far
It doesn't allow you to save games to the memory card you turned into an SD reader? Or doesn't let you save games at all? Can you save with a second memory card at all?
Not at this time, must save to first memory card with opl v1.1.0 beta 1629
Okay so I’ve wired it up loosely.. no luck with 1.1.0 OPL … used OPL Manager to put the games on the BDM .. still nothing
Make sure get a bdm opl support and it's enabled
Till now i didn't see any project run PS1 console games from USB or SD card ?
Not like this no, unless you have OPL and you run ps1 games from a usb to sd card adapter but its still limited by the usb 1.1 bus.
would love to buy one, if the price is reasonable
$20 bucks + shipping, USA only if interested.
I've seen something similar but they wired everything differently then this.
I've 3rd party memory card, Zed Labz l think, which l used both on my PS1 and PS2. After a short period of time my PS1 is completely dead. It doesn't even start, like brick... And My PS2 can boot, but it doesn't read any disc. Have anyone experienced something similar?
How about clean the laser
@@TheOriginalVersatile l did, but no difference.
So your ps1 console is dead, and for the ps2 the laser doesn't work anymore? Maybe get a new laser or laser deck, or just do opl if you have a method to boot into it.
where is the soldering tutorial for this??
