THANKS MAN❤ I literally spent 2 weeks trying to play some ps1 games, but i didn't work everytime, even with popstarter😢😢 Today i try again with my mx4sio and an USB. I follow you step by step. On USB It finally works, it's true guys 🎉🎉
I looked into this for years but ultimately decided to just mod an original PlayStation with HDMI and an Xstation. PS2 is soft modded for it's own library which of course works very well.
I've been following just about every tutorial out there for this. it's good to know that i can only use a USB for ps1 games. they show up on OPL but i can only get them to show up, whenever i click on them to run, it simply boots me back to the ELF Loader file explorer. i did not buy from your store, i bought the exact same cards separately on Amazon, they do not come with the mod pack. is there any possible way to download the files for the modpack (not the copyrighted ones) online? or any other help you could give me would be so helpful, I've been stuck on this issue for a good while now and all i want to do is just get the games to work.
11:46 just get path for gt2 and copy i think to virtual memory card of game folder or something like this and its work :) edit , on internet you can get so many pathes
Pops isn't running on the original hardware like a PS1 disc would be. It's an emulator, and compatibility is sketchy. So is performance. You also have to use the terrible VCD format. Also the 2tb limit was broken ages ago. Opl supports exfat. Take this down and do actual research.
I love the modded PS2 hdd setup, I HATE adding games to it.... I wished the iso style loading worked on the hdd.... or does it and I'm in the wrong here? I want a fat32 (32/64k clusters?) hdd + ISO's done and done, sign me up
I wish there was a drag and drop method that reads it as a bin. I realised when converting i get an error on some of the games like "Contains References to file that does not exist" and "No files generated".
If you have a DECKARD model PS2 there's a solution in the works called DKWDRV, a homebrew replacement for the PS1DRV. It takes advantage of the PowerPC hardware in DECKARD models to emulate a ODE for PSone titles. It's still early in development but even at this early stage results are promising. Also so I don't have to answer this question for the nth time: non-DECKARD PS2 models can still use other DKWDRV features but is not and will never be compatible with the ODE emulator, due to the lack of the PowerPC chip in earlier PS2 models.
It was a cut, but you can configure to go back to OPL when pressed a combination of buttons. Lookup how to setup IGR on opl, which is just set the path to the OPL .ELF or any other .ELF app (but it's not supported on games that need mode 6 activated)

You should check out grimdoomer OPL beta that support exfat. It's drag and drop.
Use GrimmDoomers opl fork

Can you show me the link to where I can find Easy VCD Converter?
2:40 Where to buy a 3g 4g ps2 router? Thank you.
Do you mean 4gb usb ? If so I just had some lying around that I've had for years
11:49 How I can get out of the game back to OPL so fast?
