The clips might be snapshot style like we all take with our phones, but how you've cut them together along with the filters and sound you've added, it makes me nostalgic for a life that isn't even mine. I also like your observation that birthdays can act as a prompt to look back on the previous year and what we have achieved. I think the most important part of that, is that we are comparing ourselves to ourselves, which is the true measure of our growth and development. I'm in my 30s now and it's amazing how my 20s feels so long ago, yet in a weird contradiction, time seems to have gone by in a flash. All we ever really have is this moment we're in, that is what life is, a single finite moment stretched to infinity.
