🙏 Ali Greymond Program Client Review #1
I would just like to say a massive thank you to Ali Greymond for all of her help and support through what had to be one of the hardest and most fearful times in my life. Hell sounded appealing to what I was living with- false memory OCD! I’m very private and the thought of telling someone my intrusive thoughts was agonizing. I listened to Ali’s shows on UA-cam and I knew the best person to help me was her, Ali made me feel so comfortable, I never once felt as though she was judging me in anyway in fact she made me feel the opposite like I was normal and none of this meant anything. She gave me the tools and skyped me every day I felt like She was in the next room the support was amazing. This wonderful lady changed my life, it’s hard work and determination daily but if there’s one person that can help you recover from OCD it’s Ali Greymond. She’s amazing at what she does and me and my family are blessed we found her because I don’t know where I’d be now. Thank you Ali your programme is amazing. (L.)
🙏 Ali Greymond Program Client Review #2
I came to Ali with a severe case of contamination OCD. When I asked her when we could start, she said “how about today”? I liked that she was that proactive and willing to jump in immediately. I looked at the packages she offered and signed up immediately for the “Severe OCD” package, because that accurately described the state I was in. Ali almost immediately became my anchor, my support system and friend through this very frightening and lonely disorder. With Ali by my side, I had hope for the first time and I made strides that even surprised me. I was amazed at how quickly I started to recover. It felt like magic to me.
🙏 Ali Greymond Program Client Review #3
Having been a fellow sufferer herself, she truly understands the disorder. I felt that Ali intuitively knew when to push me
through a fear and when to back off. When she felt that I was not ready for an exercise she told me. When she felt that I could push through a fear, she told me and 100% of the time, she was on point! This was extremely important as feeling in control is such a huge element of this disorder. I would recommend anyone suffering with this disorder to work with Ali. She helped me get my life back and that is priceless. (J.)
🙏 Ali Greymond Program Client Review #4
It felt so good to have advice from someone who actually went through OCD and recovered themselves. Ali knew all the minute details about OCD impulses, about how relapses can happen, about how the theme can feel SO real and about how OCD can trick you into ruminating when you think you are not. After putting in the work I am now fully recovered and haven't had anxiety for over a year. The tracking method ensured I made progress with my response prevention. I now have control of my life back and can't thank Ali enough.
🙏 Ali Greymond Program Client Review #5
    Hi Ali,
Its been really wonderful to interacting with you.
I am really lucky and I am sure many of us are to have you as our coach.
I was almost 10 yrs struggling from OCD, not able to do many things since last 3 4 yrs.
After sessions with you I realised that OCD thoughts are not real and they are very much scary.
Your you tube videos are very helpful.
You only guided me to go through it, accept it, don't try to chase it and most important is its not you, it's your neighbour talking with you.
Avoid thoughts and do ERP for whole day. That's the only way which everyone can do for his / her recovery.
Thanks Ali for your precious time for all of us in this hard time.
In one sentence you are life saviour for many people.
Ali Greymond Program Client Review #6
Working with Ali gave me confidence to push through my OCD because unlike a medical doctor she sees it every day and has recovered from it herself. Her level of experience is unparalleled in this field. Thanks Ali!

@@olaszarnold6499Listen, I have a history of severe trauma (se**ual, physical, emotional and severe neglection and also Loss and grief) so I have been in all kind of devastating situations and for the Bonus on top I have severe OCD (ok, it’s not that severe anymore I am very far down the process)
What I have learned is this: even if you have trauma and such things, it doesn’t get better when you have ocd additionally to it. Also PTSD works for me the same as anxiety/ocd
A thought or image or sensation comes in
I freak out that I will never be happy because of my past, I start to get anxiety and feel awful and helpless!
And then I start to ruminate about my past and all the awful stuff that happened! And this leaves me terrified, hopeless, depressed, anxious and devastated!
BUT instead of doing this over and over again and letting my past and my ocd dictate all of my life in future, I decided to say NO! You know what past? F you! F all the awful stuff that happened! I don’t care! I WANT to live! I WANT to be happy! I don’t want to feel miserable forever and go over and over again to this dark places! I WANT to move on and live a life where I am strong and fulfilled and brave! Because I have the choice to! A lot of great personalities had severe trauma in there life! They turned out great not because of the trauma but because of the way they coped with it! They moved on and focused on a better future! And this is all we can do! And the first step is to get the hell out of this ocd rabbit hole and become mentally and physically stronger! We are effing warriors for gods sake! We are amazing and when we get over ocd, we will be real badasses who can tackle anything!!!!!

Your compulsion is the proving. Its a way for you to gain certainty. If you are uncertain you do a compulsion to get certain if you dont you get anxiety. What you have to do is not engage in any type of compulsion be it mental (for example saying its okey and you surely did it) and physical (checking stuff, writing notes etc). Key is to learn to live with uncertainty by going on with your day and enduring the anxiety without proving (compulsion). If its too much you can start with decreasing with your proving process and when you gain a bit of clarity how exposure works you can stop with all the proving. The anxiety will decrease every time you avoid proving stuff. Learn to recognise these ocd compulsions and dont give in. Its hard but possible, start small but dont go too slow.
Hope you feel better soon ❤

But in the other, what she describes about ocd is not how mine works. While I had some secondary themes or obsessions that used to disturb me and they now don’t anymore, I still have primary theme or content for the past 13 years. 13 years. The obsession was what got me diagnosed. Simply speaking, my content doesn’t change like what Ali keeps emphasising. I am so conflicted and in despair. Am I truly different or the odd one out? Is my obsession scarier? Can I not recover? I am saying this out of desperation.please, someone help me!

Your ocd doesn’t change because you power it up so much every day. You already give it all the gas it needs and have been giving it for 13 years. This method is not something you need to believe in, it’s an action plan. Your ocd is attaching to the plan and now you are obsessing about it. Track and reduce how much you are spending thinking about ocd!

You should not believe. You should go the hard work if you want to get out of this hell. And the work is to stop overthinking everything, stop reading stuff online, stop comparing, stop talking about it, stop analysing how your situation is different from the rest - it‘s not. Do the hard work which is all about disregarding and eliminating rumination and compulsion. Your whole comment is full of rumination behind the words. Ali‘s method works only if you actually put efforts on a moment to moment basis. You are stuck in one theme because you fed it way too much. I’ve been there. Don’t lose hope. Do the work.

Usually, I am too but Ali Greymond's method has been the only method that's worked for me and I've used talk therapy, medication and a bit of ERP but in my experience, none of those have gotten to the root of my OCD. I'm more trusting of someone like her who's actually been through OCD over therapists/psychologists/psychiatrists who likely only have a textbook knowledge of OCD, not a lived experience of it.

@@Ang36914 and the fact that all three tend to act like once they decide something can’t be cured then it can’t be. Like it’s all up to them
