Tnx for this video, I really have problem starting. My fears are still stronger then avoiding compulsions and I don't know when am I going to reach that point to say: I'm done! I don't care! Send me whatever you want, I'm done doing compulsions! I wish that moment could be this moment but then I go back to doing compulsions and It seems like there is no hope for me .

This is true. But I think that most people fail because when they try to recover from ocd the only thing they focus on is recovering from ocd. The thing that's helping me is this that you said in your videos, but I've started doing things that make me productive, things that I stopped doing at first and because I was unsatisfied with my life I let ocd develop this much and ruin everything.

I believe I have touched rock bottom today. I have neglected my baby, got embaresed infront family doing compulsions and my husband looses faith that I will ever recover. Today was very bad and I could not find strenght to disregard. I listen to you Ali for more than a year and still I am at the same place . The fears and automatic compulsions are destroying my life. How to move on from this spot, how to owercome fears and confront ocd?

Thanks Ali. I've been struggling to actually start recovery, i keep thinking im recovering then don't realize i keep analyzing. I'm not sure if my situation is severe or not but at this point I've had ocd about really absurd things more than normal past ocd like fearing I dropped valuable things and or fearing to throw away something on accident. To things like fearing that i forgot a thought or something i had to do in the day. I know i need to just stop and refocus on other things. I just need to really really have faith and disregard everything. I wonder if doing your recovery program will help my situation. Thanks for all your help and videos so much

When I try to recover, my anxiety levels fall, but then I come to a point when I think of the thoughts and don't get scared and think the thoughts are real. Then I'm going to analyze which I just can't stop because I really don't want it to be true. The anxiety level will rise and then I'm getting a anxiety attack. Is this really ocd, if yes what can I do to stop this?

Mina M by accepting the feeling of fear in your body. Fully accept it and dont resist it. Show your brain that by accepting and going about your day like you are not afraid will retrain your brain and stop sending you adrenalin. Eventually your brain will get it the message. Its hard to do, but just accept the fearful feelings. It wont harm you. They are just chemicals in your body. Fear wont kill you
