For me moong sprout isn’t so complicated. I just soak it (preferably in a wider plate where water reaches to each grain evenly) for about 8-10 hours. Then drain the water. Leave it in the same vessel over night (just cover it with the lid), next day morning sprouts are ready. It just takes 24 hours. By the way don’t throw the water wherein it was soaked. That’s super nutritious. It can be used in dal or you can drink it just like that, it helps in weight loss.

I usually eat sprouted methi seeds as it takes away the bitter taste and it's really not this much complicated I just let them soak rise for whole day and wash them once tie them up in a cotton cloth and tie that to my window, generally the sprouts grow long with in the night or if they don't I let it in that cloth for the day too and it gets ready to eat
But if after soaking the seeds wash it,keep a wet cloth touching the seeds and cover them well,keep checking the clothes and wetting them again,then sprouts apper in two days

Also there was one incident in which a chuha 🐁 ate out sprouts before we could because he figured out that it was ready before we could 😂
Not required to tie n all that steps, after well socked in water, drain off and cover the lid.. Keep it in dark area. That's it. In 2 says nice long grains ready.. Using cloth and if we forget in busy working it might end up coming flies..

People in the comment section might not know this but, yes ypu can get sprouts if you leave longer in water but she is rather talking on how to get long roots without it getting all coiled up and intertwined with thick roots, and the method she used is famous method in some areas of Bharat and this method is really used in Korean households, and I have seen comments on how nutritious the water is , yes it is , and the first water used and be taken and also there is no need to submerge all the grains or rinse every time and waste water rather sprinkling some water till it’s soaked is enogh

Washing is important every day to avoid fungus, remember lot of people have got food poison due to the fungus in sprouts
