Whenver i see this Man smiling, i smiles with teary eyes (full of love). This Man is so perfect, humble,, generous, prioritise his family, his respect for his mom. How can even ppl hate him? This Man is living thousands of boys dreams. From a street cleaner to a Greatest Footballer, this journey was not even easy for him at all. Only he can understand his pain, what he went though to fulfill his dreams. Now what he has, all credit goes to him and his mother. Thanks to Geo for supporting him. Those who hates him, those are the most toxic fanbase ever. Those who hates him, has no class, has no works to do. Their work is to criticize this Perfectionist Cristiano who wins in Life. It's been 16 yrs, I'm his Fan and It'll be continue.... There's so such way to hate this Man, i repeat no way. If ya'll hate him, ignore him, leave him alone that's it.
I get that but the only reason you are gushing so much is because he is a top professional footballer. If he had a completely different job you would not say anything remotely complimentary about him. He is just a normal guy with a huge ego and petulant personality. I'm sure he is a nice bloke with his family and close friends but to just over inflate someone's character to the point of being cringey is just ridiculous.
This man was proven right, he knows what is the best for United and also where he could best for United to progress. Ten Hag wanted him to play a role he never played before, how can he develop something into new at his age. Erik turned out to be just a continuation of everything that has led to Man Utd's downfall, and Ronaldo saw straight through him.
I don’t want my kids to be a spoiled brat at 39 years of age He’s a selfish egomaniac Granted this attitude made him very successful as a player but not as a person
You know I stand with opinion that Cristiano is the best footballer in the world. Yes I know messi is Amazing one of the goat. But if you wanna someone to be a Role model it should be Cristiano. He shows everyone how to be a successful person. No matter what talent do you have but just looking what you good at and doing hardwork on it. Not only hardwork but also smart on analysing and taking desicion. Also to have a good control over yourself. What a man, what a legend. Not only on football but also on life.❤
I’ve seen him play live at old trafford I’ve lost count ! He was absolutely awesome what a player , I was there when he made his debut against Bolton Saturday lunchtime and I was there when he played his last game . I feel sorry for fans/ supporters of my club that have only ever watched him on the television because trust me when you are sat pitch side and watching him on and off the ball and his movement is unreal . He’ll always be a great and legend of the game WHAT A PLAYER
I watched him twice in Munich. Was not nice as an Bayern fan 😂 but I saw Messi three times and he don't score a single goal and my Club won all three matches 😂
Just because Ronaldo isn’t a United supporter, with his legacy in football more than just about his time at United, doesn’t mean he doesn’t love the club. It’s the club where he made his name, grew up and became a superstar. He’ll always have fond memories of his time there. And so the fans should for him. We likely won’t see a player like him grace Old Trafford again. His second stint didn’t end the way anyone would’ve wanted, but it was still amazing to see him back in a United shirt. And to actually see him play live at OT. Something I was never able to do when he was there the first time
All the true United fans love CR7. Saw him grow from boy to man. At united he gave his all. 2nd time round he came back to poor standards and dressing room full or mercenaries after a pay day. Lingard Shaw and co.. CR7 lost his son and still played against Arsenal and scored that shows you his professionalism. Fans doubt him for an interview which eventually led to Ineos take over. Do Me a favour go support Barcelona!!
He’s goated dude? So totally goated. The way he flies through the air and kicks a goal with his head is Sickk! He also jukes the defense out and kicks points for his franchise!
Iam surely not the only one after watching this , flooded with respect , pure inspiration and above all massive admiration there is not a footballer playing or retired that has impacted the game more than Ronaldo , he has not only succeeded but broken ridiculous records along the way in England, Spain, Italy and even at the age he is now in Saudi , so Ronnie i salute you pure legend.
As a United fan, I'll never be angry about the way he left United the second time. He was there as a player and as a fan and he was disappointed with what he saw and rightly so. What we are seeing now, the management changes, the infrastructure improvements, the focus on football rather than business and branding, is all Cristiano. He started it all. In a few years' time, when United are as great again as they were in his time, even the fans who hate him now will thank him for what he has done and the things he has single-handedly set in motion. Go on Cristiano, and get those 1000 goals!
You’re not a United fan. You haven’t mentioned Ten Hag. Ten Hag said countless times Ronaldo was a part of his plans… and begged him to stay, only to bench him and barely play him. Ten Hag and the rest of the United Cronies are the same people who didn’t believe Ronaldo’s child was ill…
I agree with you, a big part to blame was ten hag also and areas with the way he dealt with him. But you are totally right. United are far behind everybody now... to me they are a mid table team (no matter what we want to think).
When i look at him and see he is getting old all it leaves me with is start crying and emotional. What wil be football without Ronaldo . Sometimes you wish God keep icons like this young forever
I'm glad to hear CR7 with his 1000 goals challenge, it's what i've speculating myself.....TRUST ME CR7 IA A MACHINE AND HE WILL DELIVER ON THAT CHALLENGE, MAY GOD THE ALMIGHTY PROCTECT HIM AS HE SHOWCASES HIS GOD GIVEN TALENT. NEVER STOP PLAYING CR7
I didn't get the hate he got back then and I don't get it now. Every single thing he said about the state of the club was what fans had been saying but somehow he became the villain? Yes he undermined the manager, but now the same fans are calling for Ten Hag's head. Maybe make up your mind on what you want? Ronaldo was right about how embarrassing the standards have become at the club, doesn't matter if he did it for himself or love for the club. He's still and will always be one of our greatest every players and legend.
The fans were looking for a scapegoat for united shitness.. it was easy to blame Ronaldo cause he was the icon and as far as the fans think.. he can carry all the weight (positive & negative) of the club. Which in case he can't, nobody can. The club is rotten but are relentless at thinking they're not. It's not slander, it's honesty
His first stint at United was the stuff of legend and his first season back again was very good also. Gutted with how it ended but got to have a lot of love for this legend of Man Utd
He considered ruud as the best striker he played with and thats just amazing to hear because ruud for me is the best finisher i ever saw live! What a legend
Love him or hate him as you like, but Cristiano's work ethic and mentality is something truly admiring. If all people have half of his way of thinking, the world would be a better place
Giggs was a prime example of what Cristiano says about adapting. Cristiano went from flying winger to central and up the top, and Giggs went from flying winger backwards to central. Both incredible longevity by looking after yourself and adapting over time.
Except Giggs always loved the club and said leaving was never an option. Ronaldo thought he was too good for us. Which is fine. But then you can’t pretend to love the club. He’s just on Rio’s channel because he knows it’s good publicity. He’s selfish and fake.
@@marc1299he never thought he was too good for us, it was mutual respect. He achieved his dream at Man United (won everything) and wanted to pursue another challenge which was win every trophy possible at Real Madrid.
Notice how Ronaldo said about Bellingham going Real Madrid that the environment was clean so he can grow. A lot of players are talented that if they went to clubs like that that would be in Bellingham’s position could do the same imo. Players that go to like United etc just struggle and become wasted potential not because they are bad it’s the type of clubs.
I mean when the kitchen and rooftop is also fucked what do you expect The right step is ineos and having Dan ashworth and barrada so let's see what are the next steps It's gonna take awhile as with most clibs🎉
Real Madrid has got a famous reputation for their fans and teammates turning on a player very quickly. More than any other club I can think of. If you mean cleanliness then that's great, but in terms of harmonious, Madrid can be a very toxic club.
Bellingham is so overrated! what does he actually do that makes fans stand up and say WOW! serious question not criticising. He passes 5 yards forward 5 yards sideways.. He never does anything out of the ordinary!! let me know your thoughts as i dont seem to follow why the hype?? he was missing euros and champions league? all comments welcome. Thanks
I appreciate how Rio was trying hard to make Ronaldo dissect the moment his mentality changed to being a scoring machine. I believe it was after the 2006 World Cup. Ronaldo has the most hated player in the UK, but he shut em up by scoring goals
I fell in love with how you played football since I was a kid back in 2006 and you the reason why I also fell in love with man utd and considered real madrid as my second team after man utd when you left. His first season back at United, literally him and De Gea Carried us majorly (he was 37 btw) without either of them we wouldve finished 14th at the highest! Hate how it was ended for the both of them! United legends regardless tho, forever 🙌
DeGea carrying us lol he lost ManUtd many trophies in the latter seasons of his ManUtd career. Solskjaer made mistakes picking him for games like FAcup semi-final 2020, EuropaLeague final 2021 etc...
It's engaging to see Ronaldo's interviews. English is my first language and he is giving insight only few life long superstar players have experienced.
I cant imagine a world without Cristiano With his mindset he can play profesional football forever! He will reach 1000 goals plus no dout. Keep up the hard work an thank you Cris. Big up Rio
Goals are scored to win matches. Matches are won to win trophies. Scoring goals that don’t lead to trophies is somehow pointless unless you care about yourself more than the team
Ronaldo is the GTOAT (greatest tanner of all time.) What he lacks in other areas such as the footballing ability to keep up with the GOAT, he makes up for with being golden brown from tanning. Also he has abs that we like. He may not be the goat but he is the gtoat.
I was at a CL game once at old Trafford and when I saw the lineup and saw that you weren’t playing I was thinking I could of seen one of the greatest players Man Utd have produced live
Ronaldo is one of my heroes. He was right to criticise the mess of our club, he blew the whistle by confirming the Glazers have destroyed the club. His issues with Ten Haag he should have kept private, but Ronaldo was right that Ten Haag disrespected him. He was right to attack Richard Arnold though, because Richard Arnold did not support Ronaldo properly after his baby died, Ronaldo was only off one week in April 2022 (remember) he was not allowed longer time for compassionate leave. Also when his daughter was ill with Bronchitis in May and June 2022, Richard Arnold did not believe him. Ronaldo felt like he was being pushed out. So he decided that summer he wanted to leave. There are always too sides to a story. Our club let him down
It would be amazing if Cristiano could come back and get his 1000th goal at United. Like Henry signed back at Arsenal those years back and played a few games
for me Ronaldo will always be the best player we have ever had, and i am still angry how he was unceremoniously pushed out, totally dissrespected, when he had done so much for us, he didn't deserve to be treated like that,
Yeah he deserved to be treated like a prince. He is the tannest person we’ve ever seen, and he has great abs. Therefore he deserves to be waited in hand and foot by all of us. We love him and his abs.
As someone who always was, is and will be a Messi, I really do appreciate this man to no end. Yes i do like messi's way of playing more but that doesn't take anything away from Christiano. And I HAVE to mention this. As for this interview, I think Rio has done something that no one has ever done with Christiano, and that is obviously Christiano love & respect Rio alot, and that made him be at ease. This was the first time in my opinion that he didn't have any guard and didn't try to prove anything and just be him which is quite different from what he is perceived almost every time. I myself never liked his attitudes, or lets say his ego was a bit too much for me, but now I understand that the people who interviewed him never got to him the right way. This interview made me like the guy so much after so many years. Hats off to him no matter why though. He is without a doubt a legend.

It took 2 years for most people to realize that everything Ronaldo said about Man Utd 2 years ago was true. Erik ten Hag is the most heavily backed manager since Sir Alex Ferguson, yet he’s been a monumental failure. He’s had hundreds of millions spent on signings, and what has he delivered? A measly Carabao Cup. The team doesn’t play well, struggles to get results, and it seems like the players can’t stand him. Now he’s on TV in August, already admitting that they won’t compete for major trophies? Essentially saying he has no faith in his players when the season has just begun, while Liverpool and Chelsea are also rebuilding? He’s arrogant, clueless, and needs to go. Even Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, despite his inexperience, did much better with far fewer resources. José Mourinho didn’t get the star signings he wanted, dealt with countless injuries, and still managed to win the Europa League and secure a 2nd place finish with a squad full of average players. Ten Hag, meanwhile, has been 'Ten Lag' for three seasons, and yet he remains in charge. What do they see in him? Is breaking his contract and firing him really that expensive?
If only the delusional fans have the same observations as you. MU is so deprived of trophies now that even a false positive FA Cup win drive them crazy worshipping TH. Even TH proudly claimed he won 2 (mickey mouse) trophies for 2 seasons in a row, thus he deserved to stay. Yet I couldnt see his style of play for past 2 seasons, all his expensive signings are either flops or crock, weird match interviews, performance same old crap in 2024...this guy is either a fraud or just plain lucky with all the resources he got (not to mention the luck he got through Newport and Coventry in the FA Cup despite they played worse). And now they want TH to punish Garnacho for liking Ronaldo's post about MU. Bet he will leave in couple of years or sooner, as the low standards of the club clearly doesnt match his calibre. Good luck to them finding someone else to carry the team and score crucial goals. Battle for top 8th continues.
@• So you say Ten Hag has been at ManUtd for 3 years and won 1 CarabaoCup when he's been here 2 seasons and won 2 trophies and the FAcup was special & important not just because of the teams ManUtd beat but the overall trophy tally and going back to only 1 behind Arsenal overall they shouldn't have overtake us in the first place and no Solskjaer wasn't better because I knew we wouldn't win anything with him and he's heavily responsible for going 5 seasons without a trophy THAT is unacceptable at ManUtd.
3 trophyless seasons is actually completely unacceptable at ManUtd and Solskjaer had 3 disappointing season ends in a row and was still given time which was just allowing other clubs to win things instead of us it was never going to do anything else and it took him having to drop off way more in the PL and lose home games 1-6 & 0-5 for him to finally go. I don't think Ten Hag is that good but no one has been that good since Ferguson so you at least make sure you win trophies if you do you're better than the one's who didn't.
We all knew he was right.. He just did the one thing you can't do and that's puplicly slant the manager to the media.. That's in his contract so as soon as he mentioned ETH by name it was over.. No man united fan is gonna argue ronaldo was right about the glazers and how the club was run.. But dragging the manager under the bus was uncalled for
@@FootkerSnooball agree about Ole. but if FA cup is that special to you, TH should be already sacked for losing to Man City in the previous final, and also giving them the treble lol.
Ronaldo, Ronaldo, Mr Cristiano… From green to Red, young to old, silver to gold, champion leagues and premier’s too, half of this generation would not support manchester united if it was not for YOU!
As a LIVERPOOL I can't understand how underappreciated Gary Neville is. He was really good, hardworking, consistent and played with passion. He kept things simple but was highly effective.
Clear example of how Xabi Alonso did so well coach with Leverkusen getting them their first title because he was a player himself and now the coach, so he understands game.
honestly, Ima actually a Liverpool fan, but I have to admit, CR7 comes across very different in this interview. For me he was a player we loved to hate, but respected as the most potent of enemies, but he came across quite arrogant and up himself. He really should talk to old team mates and friends on camera more, it shows his humble human side, and I cant lie, its quite endearing
If there was a time machine I go back to the day Ronaldo signed with Man Utd. So I can witness every time he plays. This legend, this GOAT will be missed.

After all the dust of politics and favouritism settles, history will remember CR7 as the undisputed GOAT. It happened in boxing with Ali, with MJ in basketball, it happens with great movies who don't win Oscars like Pulp Fiction and Shawshank Redemption. It happens with leaders like Nelson Mandela. History reverts back to the truth. And the truth is that CR7 is the GOAT.
Good interview. Ronaldo may say he hasn't changed but he's grown up a lot. I really liked how he explained the decision to carry on playing, it's not about the money, it's the buzz he's scared of losing. Plus his fixation with records, he knows he has a brilliant chance to go down in history with records that will never be beaten. Good luck to him.

Just because Ronaldo isn’t a United supporter, with his legacy in football more than just about his time at United, doesn’t mean he doesn’t love the club. It’s the club where he made his name, grew up and became a superstar. He’ll always have fond memories of his time there. And so the fans should for him. As a United fan, I'll never be angry about the way he left United the second time. He was there as a player and as a fan and he was disappointed with what he saw and rightly so.
@•
So you say Ten Hag has been at ManUtd for 3 years and won 1 CarabaoCup when he's been here 2 seasons and won 2 trophies and the FAcup was special & important not just because of the teams ManUtd beat but the overall trophy tally and going back to only 1 behind Arsenal overall they shouldn't have overtake us in the first place and no Solskjaer wasn't better because I knew we wouldn't win anything with him and he's heavily responsible for going 5 seasons without a trophy THAT is unacceptable at ManUtd.
