May I say that farmers have my ultimate respect for their hard work, intelligence, industriousness, innovativeness, and overall wholesomeness as people. Blessings to each of you!
Well,.....after this video,.....Mackenzie's potential number of male suitors may drop to zero?!?! (Ha!Ha!) The wooden workbench that Kevin was working on, looked almost exactly like the one I used to have. The vise was in the same spot, and it has the same dark oily/greasy look.
Hi Ronda! Its nice to see more of MacKenzie, She is gonna make some guy really happy someday to find a girl that likes to do farm stuff and can make things and build projects and can and preserve garden stuff and cook
Farmers and construction workers are two occupations where you have many discernible skills. It does lead to a very gratifying all encompassing occupation and the life.
Hello there nice people. Gears are always expensive. Someone was buying a tractor that had trouble with the gearbox. He thought it was cheep. We said if it was the Engine then it would be a cheep tractor, because you can replace the Engine for a lot less expensive than the gearbox. Gears are expensive because there's a lot more Engineering involved as in the cutting of gears.
I am so proud of McKenzie is taking lots more responsibility the family farm and the boys have lots of work to do and mom did very good job asking questions see you all soon
Hi beautiful families awesome video you’re right McKenzie, you’re a professional now and boys are always helping their dad and as always you and you’re families be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Been a while Rhonda, so glad everything is somewhat normal for a farming operation. Kenz is gonna scare away all the eligible guys!! So sorry it looks like your as wet as the sunrise side, be a long time before getting in fields, stay safe and have a blessed one😊😊😊
Hi up their at the homestead.Rhonda you and ur daughter look like twins and sound alike also. my wife and daughter look alike at the eyes. And ur 3 boys look like and sound just like their dad also. God bless you all.will be waiting for your next video cant wait
Great video Rhonda and McKenzie. Always something to work on when you have equipment. Been nice and warm and sunny here in NC the past few days. Never did get any snow but got plenty of rain. Y'all take care and have a blessed and safe week and I'll see you on your next video
I must admit the only reason I watched this latest posts was because of Mackenzie your very earlier posts from two year ago showed a little reluctance or distraction on her part to a farming lifestyle capabilities and her being more assertive with her self determination and basically I’m sorry to say just just going with the flow at times or perhaps her dad and brothers were being overprotective totally understandable but that opinion could be wrong on my part but slowly her involvement has asserted her self evolution of harsh realities and establish her maturity which is essentially a roller coaster of emotional connection that’s so endearing and sharing her healthy life choices with her viewers way better future prospects now she has a greater awareness of her potentialities and experience but has an incredibly supportive loving relationship with her mum and dad and her family
Always great seeing what Kevin and the boys are up to at the shop, and the repairs they're doing, don't worry Mackenzie, I say de-nutting also, you did great. It's also great she wants to help with canning and preserving, should be fun to follow along with. Thank you for sharing this Rhonda, Kevin and the kids
. . . So Kevin is "giving us the gears". It is nice that Spring is here. It was announced in church that next Sunday is Palm Sunday. Imagine. Spring is coming fast. . . . yes I know what the calendar says. 😊
Great vid!! nice to see all the activities in the spring, well oiled farm right there love to see Kenzie at her best helping mom with the animals must be in training for her own farm hopefully, she will be the clone of her mother it seems Kevin explaines things good on the machines
Happy Sunday Kevin, Rhonda and family. How are the chicks doing that you incubated? You never know the effect a new video has on the folks who follow you. Last month one of your videos really brightened my day while I was in the hospital, so thank you. God's blessings to you, stay safe and prayers for a easy planting season.
Thanks for taking us along. I’d like to do more of my own shop work, you guys seem to have natural shop and repair skills. Going to rebuild our tmr mixer in two weeks. I’ll call if I need any advice. Hahah
Go Mackenzie. Whew! and ouch! Do most farms do this much work on their equipment? Can't imagine the cost of having it done elsewhere. Seems like it would make or break a farm.
*Another great video, thanks.* It was nice that Mackenzie was so worried about hurting the little guys. I'm sure he really appreciated it too. I hope Porkchop the meat bird sticks around and becomes the farm mascot.Thats what I've been calling him.
Used those same bands or rubbers on sheep tails besides bull calves love the videos. Brings back memories from on the farm where I was born. Castrating hogs for "rocky mountain orstyors" yummy eating ❤
Gr8 video ; yep it’s time to start maintenance on hay equipment. An tending to bull calves .. busy now . Spring has Sprang Here I Hope..an warm weather for fertilizing an planting !!! Great video .
Wow....after seeing the wear on the bands that go on the bailer, it looks possible for some metal fragments to be included into your hay bales. Do you put magnets into the cows stomach to stop any metal going through their gut ?
We used cow magnets when we were using bailing wire instead of twine string to secure & make the bales. Some wire always got away somehow. The wire would align with the magnet and could then pass thru safely.
If you have a farm and equipment, you have breakdowns and repairs! I told my wife about Kevin working on the baler and the Massey tractor pump and I said, "we're not the only ones with breakdowns on our equipment". I have a tractor that the steering sector arm broke and I have to take the radiator out and remove some parts of the front end. My son's Massey has some engine issues, hard to start and overheats with power loss. Never seems to end, but that's what happens with farm equipment when you use them. Anyways, Mackenzie is getting in there and getting some experience, good for her! Enjoyed watching, thanks and I hope you all have a good week.
Hey Rhonda, I see some of your cows with docked tails and since I watch a few other farm video's, They all have said that Tail Docking is Illegal in there states and is fround on now by Milk Coops. Is that true for Michigan too? Enjoyed your video, Thanks for ,sharing.
Loved the phone fun.. I have to wash the calf saliva off mine to watch your videos!! When your phone rings when yer feeding calves well it’s difficult to answer cause yer fingers are all saliva…. You know what I’m saying 😂. Great video👍
Don’t know if you read comments though I’ll give it a shot - since there was mention of ‘canning’ it’d be nice if you could cinch up a video about doin that. Some of us didn’t pay attention when ma or grandmother performed that task and in these times growin my own that’d be a nice skill to obtain. Just a thought

Mackenzie is really getting into that farming.
A couple years ago i didnt think she was interested. I like to see the kids stay involved in the farm.
Never a dull moment with you two. It will be good to see Kenzie being Kenzie.
Such a nice girl. Always smiling. Good hard working family!
Attention boys ,Makenzie can handle that band tool really well. So you better watch what you say to her 😂
I thought about that too LOL! She needs to be on that TV show Farmer Wants A Wife! But he better be well qualified!
😆😆😆
I think Mackenzie rocking earrings while banding was funny.
Hope you all have a Happy Easter!
Same to you!!
When Mac was putting her hair up I thought she was going to use that castrating bander to make a bun on top of her head. I laugh thinking about that.
That workbench has been around for many, many years.
Hi Ronda! Its nice to see more of MacKenzie, She is gonna make some guy really happy someday to find a girl that likes to do farm stuff and can make things and build projects and can and preserve garden stuff and cook
It’s getting harder to tell you guys apart because Kenzie looking more like her mom beautiful 😍 good luck with the garden 🪴
Makenzie makes me proud very few people her age know any of the skills she knows and is acquiring. Way to go
Farmers and construction workers are two occupations where you have many discernible skills. It does lead to a very gratifying all encompassing occupation and the life.
Oh my goodness, little is sister is becomming a terror to the moo guys!
Thanks for the laughs Mackenzie I grew up on a farm but don't recall getting so enthused about certain jobs. lol Keep smilin
its wonderful to see young woman like mackenzie take to casterating the animal with suck gusto. it will stand to her in laterl ife. go mackenzie
For all the repairs you do it’s time to build a nice big heated shop so you can work in comfort.stay safe from Canada.
I’m sure Mackenzie will be making more Soap to sell. Spring is Officially here on the Calendar and April is this Saturday. YEA! 👍🙏
I am proud of her for wanting to help more ...some kids day would not evey try to do farming. They say it is to hard ..I miss the dairy farm

I am serious about the chopper. Dad and I decided to keep the 881 international. If sanders interested in it he can have it.
Good morning every one
Install the poly bands on your baler. I put them on mine and work great.

Hey Mackenzie n Rhonda how’s my favorite farm family
. . . So Kevin is "giving us the gears". It is nice that Spring is here. It was announced in church that next Sunday is Palm Sunday. Imagine. Spring is coming fast. . . . yes I know what the calendar says. 😊

you need a heated shop
Great work Everybody, tough luck on the pump, there's always something👌👍🙏🙂
Mackenzie is entertaining for sure . . . so nice to see all the day to day ups and downs on the farm . . . life . . . work, work, work. Cheers.
The chicks are growing so fast!! They are all doing very well. Thanks for asking.
My friend has about 12 chicks
Thanks for taking us along. I’d like to do more of my own shop work, you guys seem to have natural shop and repair skills. Going to rebuild our tmr mixer in two weeks. I’ll call if I need any advice. Hahah
Hope the repair goes well. 😄
Always good to see yall never a dull moment Mckenzie you have to talk sweet to that bull lol
That pump had a rough moment @05:00
@09:00 *gets a surprise.. it will be enjoying spring time.
Its good to see you Makinzy. I like the sound of your plans.looking forward to see them progress.
How can she smile while doing it to that poor boy 😵😮😢😊. Just another job a farmer has to do
Rhonda as a 6 year boy dad had me hold the back legs on a lamb so he could castrate it. I held for all I was worth. Dad got it done.
MacKenzie should have been a veterinarian. She would be good at it..
Go Mackenzie. Whew! and ouch!
Do most farms do this much work on their equipment? Can't imagine the cost of having it done elsewhere. Seems like it would make or break a farm.
Essentially paying yourself $150/ hour to repair what you can yourself.
Depends on what the repair is, but most farmers tackle small jobs.
Good job doing that I used to do it if the balls get too big it’s hard to get it elastic on
Hydraulic mergers and rakes are murder on pumps. They should all come with return oil coolers mounted the tongues.
*Another great video, thanks.*
It was nice that Mackenzie was so worried about hurting the little guys. I'm sure he really appreciated it too.
I hope Porkchop the meat bird sticks around and becomes the farm mascot.Thats what I've been calling him.
Still think you two look more like sisters than mother/daughter. Another great video
Another very interesting video Thank you
Used those same bands or rubbers on sheep tails besides bull calves love the videos.

Lol look like sisters 2 day so funny
Nice job, guys
Good to see your!!!! I do not have any cows but there are about 12 deer that hang around the house.
Deer are fun to watch!
I’ve been replacing with poly bands on my new holland baler. I like like them better and they don’t bend.
Wow....after seeing the wear on the bands that go on the bailer, it looks possible for some metal fragments to be included into your hay bales. Do you put magnets into the cows stomach to stop any metal going through their gut ?
We've never had a problem with cows getting hardware, so no, we don't use magnets.
We used cow magnets when we were using bailing wire instead of twine string to secure & make the bales. Some wire always got away somehow. The wire would align with the magnet and could then pass thru safely.

Anyways, Mackenzie is getting in there and getting some experience, good for her! Enjoyed watching, thanks and I hope you all have a good week.
If you use equipment you can expect some type of breakdown...
i see Mackenzie wearing a ring on her left hand, does she plan on banding the ring provider ???
Hey Rhonda, I see some of your cows with docked tails and since I watch a few other farm video's, They all have said that Tail Docking is Illegal in there states and is fround on now by Milk Coops. Is that true for Michigan too? Enjoyed your video, Thanks for ,sharing.
Yes, docked tails are illegal. We have some cows with docked tails. They are older and were done before the new laws took place.
@@acresofclayhomestead thank you for answering my question.
Kenzie's future husband better TOTALLY respect her... ALWAYS.
Another great vid! Very interesting and informative! Are there polymer bands available for the baler pickup? Might last longer?
We've never looked into them.
Great video, always repairs to do on the farm. Lucky that you can get replacement parts.
Good morning from keavy Kentucky
Are you doing okay
Yes we are
With your soil I'd advise not trying to do a root cellar.
The 781 chopper
OMG I laughed so hard @ Mackenzie.
Uh oh, Dr. McKenzie is in the house. 😁 Well, the repairs could be worse. 🙏
Loved the phone fun.. I have to wash the calf saliva off mine to watch your videos!! When your phone rings when yer feeding calves well it’s difficult to answer cause yer fingers are all saliva…. You know what I’m saying 😂. Great video👍
God bless you guys, and i want to let you know that i try to look at cloths but i could not find the page!!!!!!! {sad}
😂 Kenzie , you made this Ol Texan Pappys day when you said what you were gonna do to that bull calf lol !!! 🙏❤️🚜🇺🇸
