no actually....this is not for a beginner and people need to understand a lot and learn tips n other stuff this is just like a quick vid for makign a quick mini ocean render or something
When you go to "viewport render" yours automatically looks like an ocean, mine doesnt. This happened to me with other tutorials too, any idea what could it be?
@@sakshisharma8170 I don't know if it's right but When I tried blender 3.2 It worked, And when I tried blender 4.2 I have this problem, I think it because of the version I'm not sure
Bruh please continue doing this. This tutorial was the best for me. What I like about this vid is that no more intro and other commercial line that makes the video longer, direct tutorial with clear instructions. I love this kind of tutorial and please continue doing this. More power bruh 💪🏻
Mate, seriously thank you. Can't thank you enough and I hope we see more tutorials like these from you. This was so refreshing to watch with it be short and right on point.
If anyone watching this wants the render to move while working on go to the "Time" drop down menu in the ocean modifier and type "#frame/__" replace the underscore with the number of your choice; a good example and selection being "frame/30". The lower the number the faster the movement.
Hi, i believe this tutorial would teach me really nicely if you kind of just make it a tad bit slower since I'm a beginner and english are not my native language:) TIA
is it, sorry for the late reply. almost never check youtube notifs. but if you have discord you could dm or i could make a video on it. discord is DanieL#3156
what i need to know is if there is really a way to create an ocean in blender and use it on either unreal engine or unity or you just do it to take pictures but this is not what interest me at all
why does this end up far better than any actual water tutorial i've ever seen, you can use it for pools too if you just turn down the alpha, and its a great tutorial, simple, straight to the point, and it actually works, you should be the one with 100m subs
As-salāmu‘alaikum, I thank you for the knowledge. May I imitate and modify this method for commercial purposes?? without including your name / youtube name??
just had someone else talk to be about something similar, they said that messing with the render on the water helped. if yours doesn't work then try dming me about it and we could work on it together
Dude this is what UA-cam tutorials are meant to be, especially for Blender. No intros, no sponsors, no stupid bull 😂
you can say bullshit

I tried so many other tutorials and this is the ONLY one that worked
that was honestly the best tutorial I've seen
to move the sky, when ur in shading, make sure that u turn up the strength node after u follow video's instructions. works I promise
for removing the sky change the rotation of x in shadding(mapping)

Quick, simple, understable. This is how a tutorial should be
I don't know for how long the sky texture node has been around but can't you technically use that for the sky instead of an HDRI?
yeah, but from experience its more of a cycles thing. this render really only works for eevee.
Excellent!
Exactly what I needed!
Thank you very much!
Dawg wtf is a transmission max
I shouldn’t have tried to follow this with no prior blender knowledge 🤦🏼♂️ I’m legit so stuck once you got to the shading part

make sure you change from object to world!
