Our Dr. Dre discord server: discord.gg/Zvvy9ZnprB (we chat about news)
This documentary was uploaded by Apple Music on youtube, but they deleted it some weeks later.
I decided to post it, because you can only watch it on iTunes right now.
Edit: I keep seeing people mentioning Scott Storch. Of course he contributed to the album, but this is just a short anniversary documentary, they didn't mention Mel-Man or Hittman either.

Written by literally the greatest rap lyricists of all time (Eminem, Royce Da 5'9", Jay-Z and Nas), combined with timeless west coast hip hop instrumentals by DRE, and executed by some of the greatest performers in the business (DRE, Eminem, Snoop, Xzibit, Kurupt, and Hittman at the time). I remember when I bought this album in High School. Went over to a friends house and we blasted every song. I also don’t think that my neighbours were too happy with Still Dre. Being played over and over again. I remember meeting two guys around my age that were on a Greyhound from The Up In Smoke Tour in Vancouver, BC. I was so jealous that they got to go, I wanted to go so bad. Even years and years after the album had came out and I got a car and put massive subs in my car for this album. Being 20 years later I still listen to it and I still love it. I never got tired of it. Thanks to Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg for doing one of the biggest albums in my High School days.

i was there for the tail end of Pac's career and the start of Em's. A very significant time for rap and hip hop. I think Ice T's Cop Killa was my first purchase. OG was good too. Spice 1, NWA, then Snoop and Dre on Chronic, then Cube, Eazy. Those were the OG's for me. Then came Busta. Nas. Then I started stumbling upon groups and artists like Tribe, Blackstar, UGK. Real music with real dudes talking about real shit. It was more than just fun and creative, it was real. It was like, this is who we are, and this is how we live. Especially when Pac came out, that motherfucker straight up commit revolutionary suicide in full view of the world for everybody to see. it'll never be that real again, i mean, it might, but i haven't seen it yet.

@@lessforloans dre doesn't buy beats, if you know anything about 2001, that was mostly mailman and his samples which were replayed by studio musicians. Most of Dre's work has been replayed samples with original drum tracks by him or others. A producer and beat makers are not always the same person. Lil Jon is a good producer, but he will tell you, he doesn't make any beats. A producer takes all the elements and turns it into something great. That doesn't mean he played all the instruments or made the beat. Damn near every producer has a team that they work with, none of them are making tons of songs or beats on their own.
