Quincy jones didn't play one instrument on Thriller album and he's the greatest producer of all time. There's so many different types of Producers.

He spoke the exact story of my school life. I hated high school most of all. I wasn't being taught none of the things that i knew were really valuable to me personally as a creative-oriented individual. I realized the importance of education but i just could never get into like some of the other students who seem to just enjoy the entire experience and breeze by and excel in all those academic settings. I spend a lot of time skipping at one point lol.
I really appreciate watching Dre be inspired by things that Mr. Iovine says. Like it puts into perspective that we should never stop learning from others. The true goats are never the loudest the true goats are more often than not the quietest because they are the ones listening so whenever it does become their turn to speak they will have something profound to actually say. This interview just kept that hunger for knowledge burning inside me and reminded me that when those that have what you want start talking you need to listen because if you immitate greatness you will become great yourself.

I just love these two artists/business mogul’s outlook and approach to life. They truly are paragons of success in the western world. The way they embrace each other’s cultures and differences to fill the gaps in their own lives. The way they seek the positive in themselves, in their endeavours, that should be taught. That should be canon. To have their wisdom available on UA-cam for us to learn from is such a gift. This is the peak benefit of the Information Age.
