    I remember being 11 years old and going to sunrise records to pick up "The Massacre". Mannn, I had to beg the cashier to sell it to me because I needed to be over 18 to cop it. But, I guess he knew the album was fire and seeing a kid wanting to listen to 50 made him look the other way. One of my top 5 favorite album.

    I remember back in 2002 looking for new songs on Limewire and saw ''50 cent - wanksta''. I had no idea who 50 cent was at that time but my friend told me that was a brand new artist. So I downloaded it to see what it was about and I remember being blown away by the video clip, the swags, the flow, etc.
    This was wayyy back in fall 2002. That's how I discovered 50. R.I.P Limewire

    50's impact was so big, you wouldn't believe. Candy shop for example was literally everywhere. It sold records at a time where everybody was downloading mp3's for free. It was number 1 in the charts for weeks even in countries where hip hop wasn't even a thing back then. If you make a top 5 dead or alive list, I think you have to include 50, simply because he contributed alot to the fact that hip hop is all over the place nowadays.
