    TLC is not a professional level product. That said...I'm not a professional detailer and I seldom have time to spend hours detailing my car. I have had great success with TLC. A quick wash, dry, and wipe on/wipe off of TLC leaves my car looking great. No worry about get it on black parts, in panel gaps, or on glass. Just wipe it everywhere and buff it off. When you apply it, it almost seems like you aren't actually doing anything...until it rains or you wash your car. Then you'll see it working.

    I’m a big fan of TLC products. The regular TLC works so well on my Black Mercedes that I wasn’t convinced that I needed to go full ceramic coated. It lasted about 9 months through a winter and a joy to use. It is truly that good and easy to apply.

    Can I use sonax ceramic ultra slick detailer the next wash after using the last coat as my paint protection ? Because I love sonax ultra slick detailer shine and slickness but I like the last coat water beading and 6 month protection. So my question really comes down to can I add sonax ceramic ultra detailer after every wash to rejuvenate the last coat is it safe for the paint ?or should I use the amp ??

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  2 роки тому +1

      Hi. You really shouldn't have a problem using the Sonax Detailer as a topper. Try it and see how it works for you. If you see any issues switch to AMP.

    I used TLC2 on my wife's Outback (white) and Seal & Shine on my Ram (dark gray). To be fair, I only applied 1 coat and both vehicles sat in the garage for 24 hrs. After the 1st wash I applied a 2nd coat and again they sat in the garage for 24 hrs. To me the gloss is unbelievable with the Ram and have to say the Outback sparkles nicely in the sun with the TLC2. I really like that AMP and use it on both vehicles. It works great with the Seal & Shine. It's been 3 months so far, a couple of rain storms etc. After washing they both come back nicely. I used TW Ice Snow Foam in my foamer. 2 oz with warm (microwave) distilled water. As of now I would give the edge to Seal & Shine as it feels super slippery compared to just slippery (best way I can describe it) after washing and using the AMP. I really like the AMP when cleaning the windows. During the rain I didn't need to use the wipers. Of course I tried it on a trip while driving in the rain for about 3 hrs and it wore down. But as soon as I re-applied it, bam, it came right back.

    Awesome video Phil! K the million-dollar question lol > how would you rate the last coat version 2, against Tw hybrid Ceramic spray coating & seal in shine in the following 3 categories.
    1. slickness
    2. shine
    3. durability thanks..

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  4 роки тому +2

      Thanks! Good questions. I have t really tested durability on the TE Ceramic spray coating and TLC2 yet, but Seal and Shone I think will still bat them out on that.
      Slickness would say both TLC2 and Seal and Shine would win. The TW Spray Coating even though may not have the slickest feel is super easy to apply in hot weather. While TLC2 is easier to apply in cooler weather. Each has its pros and cons in my opinion.
      I’ll keep using/testing each product an see how they preform 😎👍🏼.

    A tip to keep your warm water lasting longer, use an ice chest instead of the bucket. No grit gurard but it will stay warmer longer. Nice way to do ONR wash in the garage.

    I have a couple of bottles of TLC V2. I really like the product and is easy to use. Probably will last me a very long time. Unlike your test though I have some pretty crazy beading after almost 3 months on a work vehicle that has been driven 6600miles in that time.

  • @TheZigzone
    @TheZigzone 4 роки тому +2

    I had the same experience with TLC. Crazy beading after application. Then, after the first wash, the beading was gone, like TLC was washed off. Maybe it only bonds to clean, deconed and polished paint and TLS shouldn’t be used until after TLC has been applied? I get the beading vs sheeting argument but I gotta have them beads!

    I've talked to you before I had Tentworld do something I'm going to get the receipt that I don't think they gave me except for the amount of money I gave I don't think the other guy is the one that put it on and that's where you know they should have realized after calling five times of leaving something on their board and you know I knew there were franchise at that point to be that Bold and the basically say Hey you know and so many words you suck but you know you took a lot of money for me that's almost $1,000 of what I make a month on disability and my age that's a lot of money that's almost all I get is what I was trying to say and they work ever questioning it and why put a guarantee on it if you're not going to even question what the deal is when somebody's already contacted you five previous times? Anyway I got the warrior bundle I think for the last coat cuz that seem to be like the best one overall that I bought from other people and yourself that seemed to be the DIY kind of stuff where people are really excited about the second person and it came with the amp and the wash along with well I've already got the dressing for my tires I'm not sure what kind I already gotten I don't know if I know you like to say I think it's you that like to say that you stick with the same stuff but I didn't have a pressure washer to use and I thought I was just get phone thing that I could put to hose and attach their do you think that last coat would be all right there and what is your thought between the blue wash or GGO to rsr2 I can't remember the orange one or the blue it was called one was waterless wash and I thought use the other one and really like this one what do you think for you know for the DIY and I also have a steam cleaner that I can use on my car's interior outside I don't want to get it wet inside because I have lots of leather That's Italian leather that was already put in there I bought it 6 months used even though she put a good bit of mileage on it it should keep up well so how do I do that I don't want to get a lot of water inside can I do that with the steam to get like the inside of the back hatch up and the doors to get the stuff from inside the doors out and get that Grime out without having to use water pressure? Sorry don't mean to be a pain but I'm just trying to get all the information as much as I can once without bothering you to death?

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 роки тому +1

      Hi. Yeah using a steamer for the door jambs works well, it just takes longer. I still love to use the pressure washer since it’s fast and efficient. Maybe a few drops find their way inside, but it’s minimal. But the steamer is a good choice if you don’t want any water inside at all.

      John Wagner True. A 16oz bottle would get you roughly 10-15 vehicles that’s $250-$500 of potential profit. Of course this is how I see it as a mobile detailer. I do the the same thing with any other sealant upgrade. I usually charge what the product costs and and the first time it’s usually paid for and the rest is profit.

Not sure if its the surfactants in"The Last Soap" or not but I use just the regular Adam's Shampoo (Blue one) on 2 of my cars which are coated with The Last Coat-2 and when I rinse them the beading is just as profound as it was when it was first applied without either car being polished. For the record one's a Lexus (Super soft clearcoat) and the other is a Mercedes Benz (Hard stubborn clearcoat) and both react the same way. Hmmm.... Interesting. Impressed with The Last Coat and it's performance just looking at the video. But man did the soap change it's properties! Just wondering since you used it at a stronger dilution in the foamcannon than recommended. If that actually degraded the sealant or added it's own properties to it? The self cleaning ability from it was on just the Last Coat. So wondering if it's still as great when you used the soap and AMP? If it's still has a high performance in the self cleaning ability then I don't care much if it's beading or sheeting. What's strange with the self cleaning ability from a LSP is that's only shows in the real world use IME. I have had super slick LSP with poor self cleaning ability from it and kind of non slick like Sonax PNS and BSD that gives you still a high performance from the self cleaning ability. The more the times goes I want as high as possible self cleaning ability from my LSP. So the car looks cleaner for a longer time. Especially during the winter months here in Sweden it shows which works and not.
    Have not seen The Last Coat in Sweden yet. Maybe they goes international at some point. Then it's absolutely a contender for me to try out.
    Awesome video and thoroughly review of the products!

      Thank you! That’s a good point. But the soap also has Sio2 infused in it. It also has some surfactants that cause it to look flat on the panel until fully rinsed.
