Good to see others are seeing these results from reformulating from the ground up. One thing we want to clarify though is some in the comments make it sound like we were the ones that caused the drama that Jimbo referred to. We weren’t. If he likes he can confirm that. But we didn’t do anything like what’s being implied by some in the comments. We didn't threaten anyone. That's never been our style. We actually engaged in the comments nicely before.
Not wanting to start anything, and wont respond to any negativity. Love your videos Jimbo. I did not see the first video. Before I say my comment, I am sponsored by TLC, but I approached them AFTER I had used their product for a few months and liked it. I am still using TLC V1 and I have not had any issues with it dieing..... now that being said, I baby my Truck and no way I would spray it with some of the stuff used in these videos, but I do understand the point, and hope you keep doing them. It does have a 1 year old ceramic coating, but I have used other products like Hydro Silex and Beadmaker and they both died within a week or two and even with the ceramic coating it stopped beading and sheeting. Anywho, I had to stay at a Hotel one night and walked out to a truck COVERED in water spots from sprinklers.... I wanted to die because we know how ceramic coatings and water spots are, anyways, I bought the same Iron remover you used here, and hit the carwash. I sprayed my truck down with the iron remover and let it sit about ten minutes to breakdown the mineral deposits. I then washed it like normal. I say all that to say this...... It still was beading and sheeting like before and the water spots were gone. I wonder if the difference is that I use it as a drying aide after EVERY wash, so maybe having it layered made a difference?? . Anyway, I am excited about TLC V2 when I run out of V1. I also use it on my boat and have not had any issues there at all. Does a great job of keeping scum off it. Keep up the good work. I think flaming someone for their results is ridiculous no matter who does it.
P.S. I was on the road when the sprinklers happened and did not have my TLC with me, so it was just iron remover, soap, and rinse.... I just wanted to share my experience with TLC v1. I am super glad TLC listened to its users and went back to make the product better! Part of the reason I pursued working with them.
TD_Fishing thanks for the feedback. 👍🏼
@@TheLastCoat Anytime, I edited and added a few more comments. Thank you for listening to youtubers and users alike and going back to improve on your product!
Wheww, glad it wasn't you guys. After watching this video, I'm going to try TLC2.0. Good job reformulating!
Is last coat safe for matte paint?
Great stuff. Thanks! I loved watching F11 fail. I’m so sick of their Facebook ads.
Quick tip, they run the ad off of the channel TopcoatⓇ channel, and if you block the channel you don’t see the ad (I haven’t seen the ad in 2 weeks since doing this)
F11 is more worried about how many FB pages they can spam over the quality of the actual product. Absolute 🗑
@@tonygui9147 Shine armor does a horrible job hiding the fact that they are just PEARL NANO relabeled. Very sloppy Editing in their ads proved this. LOL
Yep, and I'll admit they got me when they started advertising
@@thecamarogarage I've never heard of pearl nano before. I managed to get 2 free bottles out of shine armor
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa The Shine Armor photoshopped Before/After were so obvious the moment I seen them. After that, I had a hard time believing them
They got me too but I can proudly say after trying F11 that it’s overpriced shit and not even worth half the cost.
The Last Coat v2 vs Turtle Wax Seal N Shine please!!!
I bought Turtle Wax Seal and shine after watching you’re videos I was almost a victim of the F11 Facebook adds just happened to see one of your videos about a week ago. I’m just waiting to get some free time from work to clean up my wife’s odyssey and my explorer. Looking forward to my results. Thanks for your work you put into your videos
This video was so helpful. I almost bought F11 just to see if it was BS or not. Glad I didn't!
Nice to see this test. I would love to see TLC v2 vs Seal & Shine. As always, thanks for doing these types of comparisons.
I use TLC and Seal and Shine together on my car and the results are absolutely amazing. I also use Seal and Shine topped with Beadmaker on my wife's car and that too is outstanding. Can't go wrong with either of those products.
lookahere really? Do you apply turtle wax seal and shine first and then the last coat 2.0?
@@InternalEnergy7 Yes I do and the shine is off the charts. I have a white Ford Mustang and as we all know, white is a difficult color to make glossy enough to truly turn heads but this combo always has people asking me what type of wax do I use. These two products are outstanding by themselves and on another level when used together. They don't break the bank either.
lookahere thank you!! Trying this soon
@@InternalEnergy7 You're welcome friend,
Finally someone that freakin blocked the other sections when putting in each product. The freakin overspray on other videos drives me insane. Good video man.
I"m 1:30 in and the song is bangin'... I've never heard of any of these products but a friend of mine just asked me about F11 so when I searched and saw you had a vid (I've already subscribed), you know I had to check it out. I'm already happy and you haven't even started.
Seal and shine. Vs. last coat. Love you vids man.
I just bought TLC2 and used it on my motorcycle. Your video makes me feel more secure with my purchase. I've been riding for a couple weeks and my bike still looks clean and shiny except for some juicy bugs. I'll be hosting it off to see how easily those bugs are removed.
Great video definitely would like to see the seal and shine battle with top coat I mean last coat
LOL - will do
Thank you for making this video! Just what I needed to see
Whoa what an amazing video. I'm so glad I came across your channel. This has help me choose the best product based on your torture test.
A question which I don't see you listed, but what hose nozzle do you use? I know it may be such a weird question but I'm needing a better hose nozzle when washing my car. Much appreciate. God Bless.
Hey Jimbo. Saw you post this on Reddit. Keep it coming!
Hey thanks! Glad to see it’s working
Was thinking on trying the last coat glad you did the test! Great stuff!
Great video...I'm happy to see the last coat do well..I just started using it on my car...so far I like it.
Man!! I am so happy to see this test and these results from TLC. I have been using TLC for a few months now and have been impressed. This is just icing on the cake. Thanks for posting this excellent comparison video and thank you to The Last Coat for such a kick A** product.
YES THANK YOU! BEEN WAITING FOR A GOOD 3rd PARTY TLC2 COMPARISON!
Nice video and thanks, now I feel happiest because last night I just bought the combo from The Last Coat to trying on my used 2012 but like new all Black Nissan Pathfinder Silver, I'm so excited 🤣🤣.
Purchased used 2011 Z4 and body was in awful condition, scratches, swirl marks, water marks, dead bugs, tar, etc. I washed, used clay mitt, paint correction using Sonax MaxCut and Sonax Polish and finally TLC2. Went to BMW dealer to pick up part and the staff there were really impressed and said it looked like new paint. Black is a tough color especially during hurricane season where roads are constantly wet from afternoon storms. I’m happy with the results.
Seal and shine and TLC would be a good video! Also I appreciate this back to roots video.
Props to TLC for IMPROVING their product!!
How does TLC2 compare with Grand finale, Liquid Wax, Mirror Glaze, Revive, and Mirror Shine?
TLC 2 in my opinion is the best hands down. Put it on my black silverado....wow.. looks great and withstands the elements. The for the videos plz keep doing them. I can't believe that you get threats....wtf ???
Just found this video 2020 man love my last coat all I buy my truck still shines after a rainy night
After watching your video and Pan's about Seal N Shine, I'm now a TW convert ... LOVE their Clean Finish Polishing Compound as prep for SNS on my black Camaro.
But NOW it looks like I'm going to have to get TLCv2 since my car is a daily driver through Ohio's weather.
Great Video. I used TLC v2 on my car and love the results. My car is super shiny and the water beads right off. Highly Recommend TLC v2
Great video. Thanks for the information. Would enjoy seeing The Last Coat up against some others to determine your overall winner.
I watched your first video of TLC after applying it to my car and thought I got duped, but then I realized I have version 2 and watched this video and was happy again haha
Nice!
Excellent testing. Simply done side by side.
Loved the video. Inwas about to try the F11. You've changed my mind 👍🏼
Great job - love your testing videos
TLC2 vs TWISS. I use Turtle Wax ice seal and shine and Spray Wax on one car, and I love that combo. I have TLC2, but I've been too busy lately to prep and apply to the other vehicle. If TLC2 has some SiO2 in it, it may be a good comparison with Technician's Choice, CarPro Reload, and the like.
Great job comparing all these heavy marketers! I'm glad TLC2 upgraded and now has some chemical resistance since I liked the other properties of their original formula. I'm excited to see more testing/comparisons.
Thank you for these videos. How do these do vs swirl marks on black paint?
Glad i watched....was about to buy some F11!! Thank you!!!
Me too! Glad I saw this first!
Me too! TLC2 it is
I just bought some F11 but haven't applied it yet. Yikes...😳
I fell into your UA-cam channel by accident, and Im glad I did. Great informational Videos! Right on!!! How about Torque Detail Mirror Shine ??
Wow wow i just got the last coat , great video i will try it for sure .. this weekend thank you
Hope you like it!
Thank you for this test.. You and me allot of money.
I have just used the seal and shine and really like the product better than the Meguires.
Love to see the test with Last coat and seal and shine
The proper way to use f-11 is to spray a heavy coat on any area you want coated. Leave the spray on for 15-20 mins. Then wipe it off and buff with another clean dry towel. It also takes up to 48 hrs to fully cure. F-11 also isn’t a paint correction product. It’s a top sealer. Which means you do all your paint correction first and then seal it w several layers of F-11 applied properly.
Great video as always! I recently used Malco’s Ceramic refresher and it sheets like crazy. It would be cool to see you put it through your tests if you can get some from a distributor.
FAB Automotive Detailing I’ll definitely check into it
Funny. After this video was literally a full 10 min ad from TLC doing the exact same torture test. Well with shine armor instead of cmx.
I'll be watching more of your videos after this. Gery well done, and you seem like a good person. I value this content.
Thank you!
Yes, a video please on
TLC vs Seal and Shine
Once again another great video & impressed TLC new version has greatly increased. Too bad people can’t realize this is your version of testing that you would have to remove videos because people love an inferior product too much. Crazy people don’t realize this is your test & your opinion & if they don’t like then don’t watch but I always appreciate your videos & honest take on things
I was going to get some exoforma, however perhaps I’ll check out last coat first 🤔 either Way, I suppose ya can’t go wrong with either!
Iv been waiting all week to see this video...
I've always heard of f11 being the best. Glad to find your video. Eberyone still thinking the last coat best option at $40 ish bucks.
I put the last coat on my car and my husband put seal and shine on his. Would love to see a video with these two products.
me too, great idea, Rhonda you should for sure make one.
Solid unbiased reviews, subbed
We have a new polish and sealant called Thunder Coat. We also manufacture a Teflon spray wax called Grape Gloss. We would be happy to send you a bottle of each for testing. Thanks for taking the time to review these products.
Thunder Coat sure. Send me a bottle. 1077 E. Pacific Coast HWY, Seal Beach,Ca 90740
@@autodetailingpodcast Hi Jimbo. We sent you a bottle of Thunder Coat polish and Grape Gloss spray wax. Have you received it? Emailed you a few times and no response.
Thunder Coat yes received. Working on getting it into the rotation for a video
@@autodetailingpodcast I see that you are a busy guy. Thank you for the response. Have a nice Holiday.
Thanks you! Last coat for me 🤘
I definitely want to try The Last Coat on my work truck! I keep hearing great things about their Version 2! And after this video I will be picking some up for sure! Thank you for the video and being unbiased about each product used.
P.S. I got an ad right at the end of the video for F11 Top Coat lol!
Great video,Thanks. I wonder if the manufacturers ever change their formulas to save money? At times the products seem to weaken from one purchase to the other on the same product.
I think they do all the time. But that’s just my opinion.
Great video! Sorry to hear about the threats..... the truth hurts sometimes. My vote is for technicians choice, seal n shine, last coat in a battle possibly.
Those are all great!
The fact a product got a bad review, and then threatens someone on that review, is enough of a turn off where I wouldn't purchase it..if I had to guess what product it was, my guess would be TLC...they won this test, a wins a win, but if there going to pick and choose just the good tests, and give a hard time to a person for a negative review, that's not right..
@@larmo5633 I agree.......but sometimes you have to lose a "battle" to win a "war" . Some battles just aren't worth fighting. But I totally agree with you.
@@larmo5633 - Exactly. Huge turn off.
Agreed,LTC v2 vs. Seal n shine.
Well I just bought the last coat V2 sealer so I hope its cool I cant wait to try it out
Just do ur thing dude!! Keeping it real is what is all about
Glad i watched this. I just purchased a large bottle of ExoF Ceramic coat.
I actually thought I was buying The last coat. Ya I was a little confused hey I'm old give me break. Dang it, Lol an ya just had ta have the big bottle. Hopefully it will be ok.
Somehow topcoat f11 ads are still infesting my stream of UA-cam videos almost daily, but I’m glad to see it fail so hard. I’ve long had a feeling that it was nothing but UA-cam hype that surrounded that product and I’m glad its true colors showed in an unbiased test. I’ve been using exoforma for quite some time now and I have to say I’m very pleased. I started using it on all of my customers cars who didn’t already have preexisting real ceramic coatings and it’s resilience over time has really made the customer’s and my own lives so much easier in the long run. Great product they’ve got there!
Using seal n shine based on your videos and a couple others and definitely love it. So would love to see it vs TLC 2
Great Video, like many folks i fell victim to the F11 hype. After I consume the rest of the F11 bottle I will be switching to TLCv2. Don't get me wrong F11 works good if you apply frequently and build up some layers, however you need to have like 4 coats on F11 for it to be effective.
RMudder and still washes off. I can’t stand how a company can just rip people off knowing their product is garbage.
Can you do a test on flow Genex I like to see how that works compare with all the products you did
Extremely helpful video! I've been using CarPro Reload. Would love to see TLC2 compared to that product.
The last coat 2 vs Seal N Shine.
Can you please post the water nozzle brand that you are using in the video?, I really appreciate you're videos 📹
The Last Coat 2.0 did a complete 180°👍👍 Jimbo, that is crazy that you were getting threats over a product test/review. People need to lighten up a little
I agree, what idiot would give you threats over a product review?? It is what it is. You have a good product and people will like and buy it, or your have a terrible one that don't do what it says. This isn't North Korea, we have choices.
@@williadawilliams Well said👍👍
Good job Jimbo! Happy to see F11 fail. Insane cost & initially advertised to appear to be a ceramic coating. It was never a coating. I have a friend that uses it on his motorcycle and it does OK as a detailer, removing bugs... But he also has a ton of layers on his bike. Again the cost is nuts! For a quick detailer I like Lucas Slick Mist Speed Wax. No idea on its durability. During the summer I wash my bike 2 or 3 times a week and it's a good detailer / drying aid for $ 8 to $12 a bottle. The 2 sealants I like are TW Ice Seal & Shine and Megs Ultimate Fast Finish.
Do you start with a clean car first? What do you suggest that I use to shampoo the car or take it to the car wash? I get yellow spots on my car and I am told that it is bird poop. Do you think TLC would prevent that from sticking on the car?
I purchased TLC2 for its durability against chemicals, odd issue but I cant really avoid dish soap being used form time to time on my gel coat and it kills the wax I was using. Goin gto give it a try on my boat for a few months, if it cant hold up in saltwater environment I'll go to full 9H ceramic like Glidecoat.
I applied ice seal N shine on my car, left it 2months outside and car got full of dust and first, as son as I rinsed it, boom....! Heading like crazy
WOW wish I had watched this before i purchased F11. I will be buying LCV2 once I finish using F11
What about meguiars ceramic wax?
I too used F-11 and was not very impressed with the claim of it repelling water, dirt, muck, and bugs. It is extremely over priced for what it does. At one point I had about 4 + coats applied over the course of spring to late summer. I have a Ford F-250 Black Ops edition and did not see any ongoing benefit to the F-11. I just purchased TLC V2 and am excited to use it. I will clay bar my truck to remove all of the F-11, (although it might all be gone by now) try to rid the water spots with Meguires Wheel Brightner to get as virgin a paint and clear coat I can get and then use the TLC. They have an enhancer available now called AMP. Supposed to add more shine hydrophobic property to the base coat of TLC. The TLC and AMP together still cost way less than one bottle and travel size of the F-11.
You should get some car wash soap from automatic car washes for your torture test as a first round just to show how weak some of these products are. And maybe try to get some of the hot lava wax as they call it to compare against some of these weaker products.
Lucky for you TLC performed well, otherwise they’ll cry foul like before, to the point a certain Organizer had to chime in and ultimately get checked.
I understood the reference
Nick M I get the reference to but what happened with it all , I know there was some turmoil
Joe Rossi feelings were hurt in the previous video, then some organizing dude who lives with his mommy jumped in to defend his paying customer, so we all wrecked them.
Nick M hah awesome , yea definitely getting his pockets lined by them. Sounds like the main reason they made a v2, good for you guys
Please do a seal n shine vs the last coat, that is the two products I’ve been doing a lot of research on, that would be a huge help
Dakota Mell ditto!
I really hate to hear you had to remove a video due to threats. That's childish and absurd!
Ya know if they are making an effort to improve their product can't complain about that. At least they're trying to make a positive change. Love the video keep'em coming!
Yeah, I agree... I am an avid TLC fan, but welcome honest, viable product testing! Agress6
Have NO idea where that 'Agress6' came from... Excuse the typo, please...
In other words, F-11 is only good as a topper on top of a wax or sealant and never meant to use alone or in the rain. Its a gloss adder in my opinion.
Bro please!!! The last coat 2.0 Vs Turtlewax seal and shine!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Would you do a test including Mirror Shine from Torque Detail?
*Hold my beer*
"Watch this." ;)
Is there one that shines better than the other on the last to the last coat 2 and Exofrma?
Is the last coat version 2 outshine the other ones, you tested?
Can’t tell in video. Also I think using dawn dish soap would be a better test. Since some people might use dawn to wash there car or truck.
Do the TCL2 vs turtle wax ice seal n shine please and thank you
Which one shines the best ?
What kind of blower do you use?
Do you have a video with Shine armor vs chemical guys in the same torture test?
another great comparison and product review jimbo. love these no matter how many keyboard detailers dont.ur true subscribers always here...over 150 bucks of over priced shit.lol.b well .thanks 4 ur help via email.
The 2.0 version of The Last Coat is major change, but that section of Proforma was doing a zombie act try to fight back, weird.
I'm impressed with the Last Coat 2. I'd like to see it go head to head with Turtle Wax.
Lol
Last coat vs turtle wax seal and shine please.....
Anyone know what product I can use as a wet shine look on top of a ceramic coating??
Could you test flowgenix
So I guess I missed the bottom line recommendation for a product? Or products? And if it is products, then what order do you put them on?
Please test Shine Armor and Sud Factory's ceramic sealant. I've used Shine Armor and it's not as good as TLC2. However I haven't used Sud Factory's sealant.
So what's the best one??
Great video.. my only critisim who has 7 days to wait for the product to cure ? The average person using this product will have Thier vehicle in the elements in 24 hours or less.. I know you seemed to have gotten alot of flack before for not having the right cure time but you went to the opposite extreme here. Either way great info you have a new sub
I mainly did 7 days because it’s just how it worked out for my schedule this week.
The Last Coat vs Seal and Shine vs Nexgen please!... thank you!
