      Hi Pan I tried the last coat it was really good, I have already ordered the new version it should look awesome on top of the ceramic coating, I will also add the autofanatic gloss enhancer on top just to finish off. I can't wait to get those products on the car, my car is metallic black as well so thumbs up for using a black car.

    We have been using the original last coat in our mobile detailing business for over a year with tremendous results. In fact we are half way through our 2nd gallon. We have probably done over 100 cars with it! Ee are excited to get a gallon of 2.0 soon. Excellent review!!!

    It's also impressive to see that its holding up to these chemicals even after being worked into the surface. TLC really took their time and formulated a worthy successor of their original product. You also have the torture test down to a science now. 😁👍 Extremely impressed! Will be picking this new 2.0 version up for sure!

    Hi Pan!
    MTL native here to say thanks for the tip on TLC. I had bought TLC using your initial code with their tlc1 review you did months back. Absolutely loved the results, I even applied it to my parents family cars. Simply outstanding results! I just received my order of TLC2, and I’m eagerly awaiting the time when I can (properly) apply it. Thanks for yet another top notch quality video review.
    Cheers!

      Thanks bro! Yes the chemical resistance with V2 is way better than the initial formula. For me though, what really counts is ease of application, gloss and slickness and this V2 also delivers. 👍🏻

    I know this is an old video but, i used TLC 2 and AMP, on a black 2000 Ford Taurus, total surface prep first. Used 1 coat of TLC 2 and 2 coats of AMP and WOW!! The gloss, the deepness of shine, the darkness of the paint, my wife was stunned!! So i am satisfied with the results and i have tried many products but these two, in my opinion, gave me way more than i expected!!

      No comparison.....Beadmaker sucks. Beadmaker Looks good when first applied, but does almost nothing for protection. All it does is make water beads....for a maybe a few washes.
      Not many products will beat the value, simplicity of use, and outstanding protection that TLC2 provides.

  • @ARMANDITOLEXUS
    @ARMANDITOLEXUS 4 роки тому

    What else can you expect from a product that it’s been beat up so many times with different chemicals and still perform, in my book this a a great product. I gave a tried to also to their black trim treatment product and I wasn’t expecting much, but when I washed my car a week after, I was truly impressed. With so many products in the market these days, The Last coat is offering great products in my book. TLC you have a great team of chemical in your team, keep up the good work.

    It would seem that a lot of manufacturers are coming to market with either new or improved spray on sealants. The Last Coat looked impressive, but so did the P&S Bead Maker! I like that you are informing your viewers but in the end it’s still a personal choice. I guess the more you know, the better your decision.

    I have The Last Coat V2 on my 2 metallic black automobiles and like you, I detail my automobiles meticulously and one thing I do different I haven't seen is each third cleaning of my Automobiles I apply another coat of The Last Coat. and have experienced less dirt build up higher color depth and gloss as well as ease of cleaning gets better. When it rains and car is parked outside. it actually gets cleaned pretty well from the rain while sitting still. so with only 2 ounces needed to completely cover a automobile i found that my process has shown the product gets better with multiple coats applied properly. Thanks PAN!!!!! keep up the great work. now i just need to get my single car garage as tidy as yours.

    I’ve already purchased the 1st version of The Last Coat & it was just ok! Then they came out with TLC2, I love that stuff it works really well. THEN, they have the “AMP” which is supposed to make your already coated vehicle really slick. I must say I’m not a fan of the AMP..Seems like it should already be slick. I’m still using TLC2 on my Hellcat and as I stated I think it’s a great product. I live in an area where the pollen will turn any car yellow in a second, so you might have to rinse your car off at a car wash for a really quick clean. But with TLC2 it’s painless. Literally rinse & go. I’m looking forward to see how the Black Ice does, but not till I use up my TLC2.

      Rutger Meurs yes you can, however the durability will always be best when applied on a clean and bare surface as Pan shows. Our topper product, AMP, is traditionally used as a high slick and gloss topper on ceramics, so that’s an option as well. But with the pricing on Pans link to our online store, TLC2 is a better deal right now simply because of the discount.

Unlike some of these other social media heavily marketed products that are mostly garbage and just continue to try to push it on consumers regardless... • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  5 років тому

      It can be used as a stand alone paint protectant or as a topper over an existing ceramic coating.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  4 роки тому

      Thanks Philippe! I prefer to wash the car first, then use iron removers. That way, the iron removers can focus on doing their job: removing iron contamination. If you're applying an iron remover to a dirty car, the product has to fight other dirt and contaminants it's not meant to remove. It's not the end of the world if you do it before washing, but I prefer my method.

    Pan, How does TLC2 compare to the new Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray Coating in terms of durability? This may be a one for another video. I'm seeing quite a few comparison questions in the comments

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  4 роки тому +1

      TLC2 will have slightly better gloss and chemical resistance, and 6 months durability on average. Turtle Wax CSC will last a bit longer (upwards of 9 months in real world conditions) and costs less. Both are very good products.
      But TLC now have their new Black Ice spray coating, which would be a better competitor to Turtle Wax CSC, as Black Ice can last longer (12 to 18 months).

    Hi Pan... I use the first version I had a hard time applying it but it did do a great job at the end when I found its Niche...
    I didn't use on a cleaned clear coat.... that was before I knew about the IPA we talked about earlier LOL...
    but my question is what is this product used for; at what stage would you apply it
    if you're using traditional waxes polishing and sealants.
    Would this be a top coat over any additional products or even a ceramic coat?
    Or is this a product that you use if you're a person who doesn't do any polishing or any waxing ...is it for the simple washing guy . . because it's pretty expensive for someone who doesn't really like doing all the cleaning steps you know what I mean ... It's not like you're buying a Mother's Showtime Car Shine product ...
    Thanks

    • @manvsdetails
      @manvsdetails 4 роки тому

      If you want TLC to perform as he shows in the video you will have to take the extra time to follow the steps. Paint correction is optional but at a minimum you have to use an iron remover & a clay treatment. Foregoing those minimal steps allows small embedded particles to hold on to the water which prevents the hydrophobic effects and the best gloss finish possible. If you’re not into the full process then a typical carnauba wax is your best option for least amount of effort or labor. These products that require prep work have a labor to quality trade off. More labor for higher quality.
