I got the same speed on mine 4.7 with the xi3 55 I fixed the problem of water coming in from under the center pod by buying a rubber gasket thing from Home Depot made for boats and other things all dry now.
I noticed you had the Boone Dox Groovy landing gear track kit mounted. How does that perform for you? Good with just the seat on to and from the truck? Thanks
Hi guys. Shopping for a kayak and this video is great. For the trolling motor mount, did you have to drill, or were there "hook-ups" (for lack of a better phrase) that make it easy to attach? I'd like to get one with anchor-lock/spot-lock. Thank you!

On our mount you don’t have to drill any holes. Unless you want to run the power wire through your hull.

i like my bow mount, no paddling the shore line all hands free. spot lock on my structure off shore.
It’s very hard to beat spot lock. And being able to cover water and be more efficient

Use both motors. The bow mount weight will keep the nose down as well. Maybe pick up some speed that way.
I must’ve missed something... What did you change to go from 5.4 to 6.7?? Was it scupper plugs?
We changed motors. We went from a 403 to a 1103
About a thousand dollars
@@gmeister03 Ha! Okay!!

is that Xi3 the 52" shaft? Did you shorten it at all or just stock?
Your products are excellent I was wondering if you could do a video on mounting your wheels for your cart
They are just mounted the the track work that scones on the shearwater
Do you have an estimate of range with each of those 3 motors
What kind of pedals are those
Hello, where did you get the bow mount BASE for the minkota? Thanks for the great work
He makes them. One objective has a whole line of motor mounts
Have you had it out in heavy wind and waves? Do you get water over the bow due to the weight? How does it handle?
It gets a little bit if it is really bad but I left the rear Scuffer plugs out and the the water came right out
Does that xi3 make bow sink down much or does it stay level
It stay really level I recommend putting the battery in the back
@@OneObjective thanks
good question
That’s was awesome
Is there anyway to slow the water from coming into the kayak?
We thing if you put a better seal around the center pod. It won’t leak
Burning day light,hurry up.
Torqeedo are so noisy with that high pitch
The 403is but the 1103 is very Quiet
