I would be interested in details of how the yak gadget pod works (with original pedals from Vibe, Hobie etc) and especially the total modifications you made to make the rudder look like this. (number of pieces that you changed from the original, size of the pieces etc.) Did you cut the rudder at the height of the screws to add the plastic board? That is not clear to me. I have seen several vibe pods crack and locking pines not working, drive chains snapping. plus I wanted and need reverse for the type of fishing I do, and wanted hobie quality and performance. I had to fork over more cash, but im happy with my decision

Nice setup! For your transducer, did you run the cable through another gland on the bottom of the battery box?
for the transducer I notched the box just enough to get the cable thru. I didnt want to cut into the sides of the box.

This helped seal the deal for me, picking one up Friday as an upgrade from my Yellowfin. You've addressed basically every concern I had.

Nice set up! I wondered why Vibe didn't make eyelets to put rod leases to attach to on them. Did you just use screws, or did you bolt them on somehow?

What size stayput bungee did you use for the seat? I'm wondering about what length of the bungee needed, there are several available.
the bungee it comes with is too short anyways. you have to put a longer bungee in there. about 12" total length if I remember correctly
