I get the fresh haircut feeling so much now, I chopped of my butt long hair a week ago and I still can't get over how light and feminine I feel now. I cut off 50 cm of hair and not a regret in sight !! Not into a bob though, kind of a butterfly cut. The volume I used to have, lost to the weight of it, is back. So happy i went for it. Ofc donated the bulk of what I cut.
The orange to the yellow to the dark green looks STUNNING! This hair color and cut suits you so well!

It was pretty much years of practice
I've started doing this on myself and I can tell you *patience* is the most important thing, second only to following the rules. There are a whole bunch of diagrams online to give you visual guidance if needed. Then be prepared to have to do it in stages. For my head and face, I can rock a straight bob but it needs to be debulked on the sides and at the back, otherwise my head looks trapeze. It's a nifty little trick that's barely noticeable, but it brings the cut from DIY to stylist level.
So have a go at it and trust yourself during the learning process.

OK, so every time I’m about to do my hair or just cut my hair, Stella does the exact same thing and we have the same length and type of hair. So yesterday I did a very basic trim on it when it was dry and I noticed some lacking aspects, but left it. I then saw she posted this today and I said OK, I’ve got to do it again and it went much better with my wet hair. I absolutely love the all one length short bob, I’ve been trying to grow my layers for years and I think it looks great on her and me! It really helps it cut off those dead ends from all of my home bleaching as well 😂.

Omg stella i think your hair survives because of those really good massages. You teach me to look after my hair and give massages too haha, experiencing some mild hair loss not from hair dyeing just happens 😢. I would have to say my favourite was the pink pixie, then the blue bob with bangs. This is probably now my third favourite haircut/colour.

We have the same length hair now! I just had to trim an inch off my hair from saltwater 😭 there was no fixing it but after the cut its much healthier! My hair is also deep ginger at the root and peach on the ends!

Such a peacock look, I'm so entertained hahaha Seriously though, one of the hallmarks of good coloring is how well the colour fades and how wearable the faded look is. Definitely worth paying premium for dyes that perform like that. Great video, Stella, love to see how genuinely happy the simple classic straight bob makes you feel :)

I didn't see the entire video yet but I am sure it turned out great. But a bob is anything but the easiest to achieve if you are not a trained professional. In my opinion. Sorry if I am wrong. Well, a flattop is harder than a bob, but I can't think of anything else. So it takes the second place. 🏆
As I see it I think about how I cut my own flattop by sculpting it free handed as you. Cool!

Can someone please help me? The mids of my hair wont take permanent color, so now my roots and ends are a level 4 and the mids of my hair are a level 6... i used 10 volume with my permanent dye from schwarzkopf igora.. i fried my hair with bleach 2 weeks ago and done protein treatments but my mids are still not taking color 😢 can i use a color depositing mask/shampoo ? Or a demi permanent with 1.9% developer? I just want even chocolate brown hair so that i can leave it alone without feeling insecure about the color😢😢
I also have to double down and say this is a good cut for protection so one can try on her wig line and test many cuts/colors on said wig line and approaching hair color lineup… but I’m no detective… lol
