RIP- what heart. Never knew your music til you left this world. Will light a candle for you and those lost in the desert. May you be at peace in Honky Tonk Heaven. What a gift your voice and songs.
Oh how I miss simple country music like this. What a great voice, & surely gone from this world too soon. If you know anyone struggling with mental health issues, drugs, alcohol, do everything you can to help them get help. I know they have to want it, but seriously have some heart to heart talks with them. I don't even listen to modern country anymore. Patsy Cline has always been a favorite! Johnny Cash, Hank Sr. I love good blue grass also. I hope your in the arms of Jesus Luke!
Sounds like a lot of folks are just now becoming aware of mister Bell the singer/player including myself. I love the old country sound that he brings so naturally. Hope Hank will be lookin for his arrival. RiP mr. Bell
Never heard of this guy till I saw something about him on Google. I wish I knew about him sooner this guy is good and takes me back to the good old basic country days. RIP. 😢
I cannot beleive he is gone. Just heard he was missing yesterday on the local news Tucson, Az where I live. I texted my daughter who knows many country artists where she lives in Nashville.. She was a bit shocked. Now I have to tell her. RIP Luke.
Such a nice, smooth song from a super talented young singer. In a world of modern day pop country musicians that all sound the same, Luke kept it old school classic country. It’s tragic and sad he’s gone now. RIP, brother.
Luke was an outlaw he never signed to a mainstream record label. didn't want his music tainted like the pop country today, rest easy young man your tunes touch the heart
Now this is the kind of country music I look forward to listening to not only when on the way to work...But on the weekends as well!! lord please let this stuff get on mainstream radio!! I Myself am trying to get heard!!
I feel so guilty I’m just now hearing of you and your amazing talent, beautiful voice. I’m so sad you are gone and cannot carry on your legacy you so deserved to get to do. I hope you are joined in heavens choir with the very best, singing for all the rest. We will remember you thanks to these songs you left us as gifts.
Like many others, I regret not knowing Luke’s music until after his untimely passing. He’s a true original in the spirit of Hank Williams Sr. I believe calling him a country singer is too limiting - he is also a blues vocalist of the highest order. Not to be superficial, but I also find him devastatingly attractive. He has a LOOK and a SOUND. Sending love out into the universe to Luke and the beautiful gift he left us all to appreciate.
Now there's a true country sounding artist. What an incredible voice! You can definitely hear his influences (Merle, Williams & Snow) coming through in his sound. Absolutely love it.❤
I also had never heard of Luke until today. I love acoustic music & his voice is great. I'm sorry for his family & friends with his loss in his battle. RIP Luke.
His music was on my last year's most played on spotify over even waylon Jennings and willie nelson. All from just 1 album. Just how amazing his music was only to hear its his last
Wow!! Dang it I’m sorry I only discovered him after his death. Thought he was modern country which I hate. He is different very different. Older style but his own unique style. Country music really needed him at this moment in time.
@@54fourty6 He's playing a G and cross harping against a D chord progression. That takes a butt load of air! I sometimes use a high G in this situation.
Luke had bipolar disorder. He would be his happy-go-lucky self and like a lightswitch, turn into something all together different. He was very much aware of, and even candid about the disorder. He had sought out counseling and prescription medicines as well. Nothing had helped at the time but he did his best. Listen to his song, "Where've you been". He did an amazing job explaining it in his song. I knew him more than most but less than his closest friends. They say, in the blink of an eye, he would be having a good time and then... just disappear. Remember that when listening to the song. He is the friend who went out on the town, and ain't seen him since in the song.
RIP- what heart. Never knew your music til you left this world. Will light a candle for you and those lost in the desert. May you be at peace in Honky Tonk Heaven. What a gift your voice and songs.
I have the exact same feelings 😢
Unfortunately, his voice is not going to be played on mainstream Country radio because they like pop-country. Sad that this voice isn't known.
@@WilbertGross Give it time.
He had a wonderful country singing voice! What a lose and a tragedy for himself and for the world of music.... May he R I P in the Lord.
I just heard this song and found out he died at same time. Very sad🙏🙏🙏.

My heart aches Luke Bell is gone from us.
He'd want us to go on and keep enjoying his music. Still. . .
Rest easy and thank you for the beautiful music.
Man this guy came up on Pandora and I’ve been hooked on his stuff. Pure classic country. I just found out he’s dead. RIP buddy.

Sometime a good song, a guitar and a soulful vocal performance is all that is required for great music.
Now there's a true country sounding artist.

man you got that tone so damn right
I'm so glad to have discovered his music. I'm just sad that it was too late to see him in a live setting. At least these songs will live on forever.
This song pops into my head every now and then. It's there for days. Rip big fella, I'm still jammin your songs years later.
They say we need more cow bell......I say we need more Luke Bell......where'd ya go???

❤ Absolutely a talent grabbed me by heart.
I'm not a country music fan but there are some that just hit home, this is one of them. Good job Luke, I will be checking out more of your stuff.
Will all miss u brother luke
Like an old soul! RIP
This is just a great song and performance
Rip Luke, thanks for your music
dudes so good.
So Talented R.I.P Brother
Thanks, that was awesome
RIP Luke.
I'd never heard of you. Can't believe you're gone and never heard of you😢
Why did he disappear
Our loss for sure. He could have put the traditional sound back in country, would have left the Nashville pop artists in the dust.
Most of us will be together after this… promise!
what did he say about his harmonica? He's playing a G harp, cross harped against a D chord. That takes a butt load of air! Great stuff!
*got pocket lint in my harmonica
@@Bruce-Leroy got ya! Thanks! I listened to it a bunch and couldn't understand what he said.
Was hoping to see what key harmonica he was using in the comments! Thanks!
