Every time I watch one of his videos or hear his songs.... Just so sad. R.I.P. to a natural talent. You are missed. And yeah, Luke, that WAS a great take. As were you.
It's time to get fucking pissed at this fentanyl epidemic. It's literally 200 deaths a day. Please do whatever you can to get involved in your local politics to make some changes. This is getting out of hand. RIP Luke.
I was gonna say the same. Funny how we all miss Luke Bell the more we listen to him. This being Holy Week, the good Lord knows the pain in our hearts. It's why He died for us.
R.I.P. brother. I recall that summer as full of fond memories, Luke had such a wholesome laugh and smile, I'll forever miss climbing and playing music with him.
"It's a damn shame the way things go It's too bad we have to lose the good folks." This line relates to a few artists who have gone too soon A hell of an album, Luke Bell will never be forgotten Thank you anywhere you are now, fella
I just found Luke Bell’s music and he has become one of me absolute favorites. His art really resonates with me. Hard to imagine that he will not make more music. Rest in Peace.
For some reason, Luke’s death hurts me more than most. Pure, honest, and intentional country music. Reminds me of my buddy daulton that took his own life, right up to the appearance. Hope the pastures are green on the other side.
Found his song Where Ya Been randomly not that long ago. Checked out his album, loved most of it. Then checked the rest of his page and was curious why there were no other albums. Only to find out he passed away. Saddest thing I had encountered in a while. I would've loved anything this guy continued to do. I also struggle with mental health issues, so maybe I can find peace so nobody goes around missing me for too long. RiP Luke Bell. I love your music.
I was lucky enough to see him open for Dwight Yoakam twice and meet him once. He was such a kind and gracious man carrying on the real country legacy. It's easy to see what Dwight saw in him to take him on tour 2 or 3 years in a row. RIP Luke, thank you for the amazing music and good times when I saw and met ya; you were one of the last genuine guys playing Americana and old school country out there
His song Jealous Guy popped up randomly on Spotify the other day and after listening to it a few times, I went to find more of his music and hear about him. I read the bio on his Spotify page and that was a rollercoaster of emotions where the rollercoaster crashes at the end. I was so sad to hear it. I'm searching out other music of his and here I find some. Thank you for posting this! I'm glad he got the music out that he did, and I'm glad he got some of the recognition he deserved before the end. Thanks for the music, Luke! 💔💔
Oh, no…The name Luke Bell rang a bell so to speak, and watching this video, I thought how great this guy is! Now I see he’s no longer with us. Too sad. What a great talent, what a great song. So sorry. My condolences to all who knew him and knew of him. I apologize for being clueless here. Heartbreaking. Now I will dig into some Luke Bell….
What a beautiful songwriter he was. His music will live on for a long, long time! Chords and lyrics below if you wanna play this one! No Capo, Standard tuning Cm is played as a "reduced Cm", something like xx554x Intro Cm C/G / Cm C/G / C F G / C F G / C G F / C G C Verse C / F G C / F G C / G / F C / G C Interlude C F G / C F G / C G F / C G C (all x2) Ends on C7 [Intro] [Verse 1] I like the grasslands And the mountains and the prairies and the badlands And the canyons and the caverns and the desert sands And the birds and the bees and the bushes and the trees The snow and the wind and the rain and the sleet all underneath my feet Underneath my feet [Verse 2] I like the sidewalks And the streets and the lights from the pawn shops And the windows and the doors when they ain't locked With my woman inside dying to see me Hold me, please me, love me, leave me Ohh, down on my knees [Interlude] [Verse 3] I like pool halls And the rammers and the gammers around the eight ball Come morning maybe looking at a stone wall With the aches and the pains and the elbows and knees And the cigarette trees is what we need Ahh, cigarette trees [Verse 4] I like windmills And the trains and the truckers from the oil fields And the bugs when they splatter on my windshield And the way the sun feels, oh, it feels so real Ohh, and the glory and the grace And the glory and grace [Interlude] [Verse 1] I like the grasslands And the mountains and the prairies and the badlands And the canyons and the caverns and the desert sands And the birds and the bees and the bushes and the trees The snow and the wind and the rain and the sleet all underneath my feet
I know what you mean. I have that feeling in reverse sometimes since I'm now older than my older sister ever was. But I will always view her as my elder. It's a strange sort of thing to feel.

I come back to this video at least once a week. Studio version does this song no good. Thank you for recording such talent. Rest Easy Luke.
You high? Studio version is fire
I personally prefer just the harmonica and guitar. Studio version isn’t bad though.
Oh man I wish he wasn't gone, there was so much more music to be heard.
So grateful to Western AF for this music. But still mourning a truly great artist.🙏

Man I miss Luke Bell! Still remember the day we lost him like yesterday.
I'll never forget the first time I heard this young feller sing. Gone too soon but the music lives on.
For some reason, Luke’s death hurts me more than most. Pure, honest, and intentional country music. Reminds me of my buddy daulton that took his own life, right up to the appearance. Hope the pastures are green on the other side.

sad we lost him so early, he could've go and become a legend, we got a glimpse of that on the small time he was with us.
Such a talent. We lost a fantastic artist, but heaven gained a mighty fine singer.
A true legend. His songs make you feel a certain kind of something. Thanks for sharing.

Underneath my feet

Rest easy brother.
W H O L E S O M E
Rest in peace Man
That’s the thing about Luke. There wasn’t “A thing” yet. Others may have considered him a thing, but he didn’t.
Rippin'
Man he is younger here than I am watching it. What a weird feeing
I know what you mean. I have that feeling in reverse sometimes since I'm now older than my older sister ever was. But I will always view her as my elder. It's a strange sort of thing to feel.
Rip 🙏
Gone too soon!
rip, Luke.
This guy is Fucking great!
He was pretty young when he this was recorded wasn’t he?
Holy shit I didn’t know he passed…
Ain’t no fluke, this is real talent. Pretending to be a pretender…
Anyone know what key harmonica Luke is using here? I tried C but can't get it, so I'm thinking it's a G harmonica.
Rest in peace
Where can I buy this hat
RIP
What happened to him.
Hello, how are you doing today? Thanks for your love and support🎸❤️
I hate that this is how I discover this guy and his talent. So sad.
Nothing like finding a great musician you'd never heard of, only to discover he's dead...
Well he lives on through us!
like watching a ghost.
