Really can't believe this comment. You can't be serious. Tanya Tucker did this song way WAY better when she was 14 years old. This hack cannot be compared to Hank, Waylon, etc. Those guys sang for real, this guy is all Autotune and there's so much reverb it sounds like he's singing under a bridge, which he should be.

    Chorus]
She just caught the Jamestown Ferry
It's not a hot day in January
    Like she said it'd be
    If she ever left me
A case of gone was all she carried
As she got on the Jamestown Ferry
And she said that gone was all she'd ever be
    [Verse 1]
    I didn't think that she'd leave me
After sayin' how much she needs me
    But the fact still remains
    I'm sittin' here all alone
Missin' the lovin' of my baby
Lord, it's about to drive me crazy
She was the sweetest piece of heaven I've ever known
    [Chorus]
She just caught the Jamestown Ferry
It's not a hot day in January
    Like she said it'd be
    If she ever left me
A case of gone was all she carried
As she got on the Jamestown Ferry

Charley had heart surgery to save his life a few years ago and during and interview he said he wants to leave his mark in the world with his music. He probably wont get big on this music because it's so out of fashion now days but he definitely left a mark on me. I'm hooked and I can't stop listening. He's authentic and real to himself and that eases the flow of music to ones ears. I'm impressed.
