- Luke Bell was a gifted singer/songwriter, signed to Thirty Tigers, who went from a Wyoming ranch hand to bonafide country music prodigy; opening for some of the most legendary figures in country music including: Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakam, Hank Williams Jr.
In 2016 he released his self-titled LP that gained international acclaim and the world seemed at his doorstep.
Soon after, he mysteriously disappeared from public life and live performances became increasingly rare. From the outside, no one seemed to know just what the hell had happened to Luke Bell.
On August 26th, 2022, he was found dead in Tucson, Arizona from a Fentanyl overdose after disappearing for 4 days.

According to Rolling Stone, Bell "(Luke played) classic honky-tonk with a wink and a yodel that summons the sleeping ghosts of country better than any voodoo spell ever could"
Our goal is simply to tell a great story. Truthful, and honest - looking through Luke's eyes and retracing his journey to see where he had been. This film will weave a holistic narrative from the broken fragments left behind by Luke's journey, his writing and his music.
Everyone who knew and loved Luke experienced a different side of him, and we aim to bring them all together in a reverent manner.
The film will be a celebration of country music and American folklore, as well as a moment of reflection for those who face mental illness struggles.
Thus far, we have filmed in and around his home state of Wyoming, Tucson AZ, Austin TX, and Nashville TN.
We are raising funds to help with additional travel and production costs, music licensing fees, media and other production expenses.

Luke lived at my house in Nashville with his dog Bill for a couple of months. He was the sweetest man and became like family very soon...in was devastating when we got the news...the world lost a musical treasure...we listen to his songs and cry...
I look forward to this film and will support it in any way that can. Luke had the old country sound that I really miss today.
Luke was not only a great musician he was a great friend and was like family to my wife Melissa and I. Always willing to help out in any way he could. Knowing Luke , though sometimes he could be quite, low key or shy , he would be all in on this film just knowing that it might reach out and help someone with mental problems like he had. Luke did not die from an overdose , he died from MENTAL ILLNESS which many doctors in many states tried to cure. Something laced with fentanyl killed Luke but he died from MENTAL ILLNESS. With the problems he had he was only searching for relief...I have been reading what others have posted and written on other sites and just knowing that a film is in the works has already helped some. I have said while he was still alive he reminded me of Townes Van Zandt. Thanks Rhino and to all other Luke Bell family , friends and fans. I cannot wait for this to come out. Luke was my absolute favorite country artist. He had ALL the sounds that I loved, smashed together into one
Beyond that though, he was the soundtrack to walking my dog, nursing my dog through his final days, and getting me through that loss
However, 1.5 months later, we’d learn of Luke’s passing. Feeling like I’d lost two of my favorite “things”, in the span of two months that summer was devastating
This’ll inevitably remind me of that hurt, but hopefully, I can look back on it in a more positive way. Luke’s music is one of a kind, and I can’t thank him enough for the emotional support it provided, and continues to provide me

I’ve had the idea ever since I heard Luke’s music and heard his story. A documentary would be so powerful. From what i’ve seen here this is everything I imagined a good tribute to Luke Bell could be.

Luke Bell got me thru a very difficult time in my life. When i heard he had died I just was at a loss but I feel like i was personally moved by him as a person. He sang the words my heart couldnt find. I look forward to this film and thank you for producing it. God Bless to all of Luke's friends and family ❤

I was so sad when I found out there was no new music comin I thought about doin a documentery on this guy. So glad somebody else noticed what I did. Easily one of the best country albums I own.

I was suicidal when I found Luke, his music really helped me, I was beyond gutted to find out that suicide took him away
