Triumph 6T Thunderbird 650 and the 1940’s Indian Chief are two that come to mind. Great colors on this bike and a great review as always. I think you need to do a bike review with that really good looking girl that you showed on the back of your Ducati one of these times. 😜
2016 Thruxton R, mine is a true candy apple red with gold leaf pin stripping on the tank, fairing and tail piece. I really like the color combination on this T120.
I have my Bonneville T120 Black/Matt for 1 month (Germany), I haven't reached 1000 km yet. All black and matt gives it a unique elegance, she is very calm in her ride, easy to handle, the torque is excellent. I have done a lot of test drives, and Bonnie was the decision in the first 100 m of driving. 🥰
I’m 61 and have been riding since I was 6. I’ve owned many bikes metric and Harley’s but have always had interest in Triumph. Most of the reviews of them are done over seas. Your review and demo is the best Ive seen on the T120. You rode it like an American would and on the types of roads we would encounter. Great video. Now you’ve got me wanting to go check one out.
@bensatterwhite5694, thanks for the kind words! Glad the review resonated with you. Triumph makes some solid bikes, and the T120 is a blast, especially on the roads we ride here in the States. If you’ve been riding since you were 6, you know a good bike when you see one. Definitely worth checking out-might be the next great addition to your collection. Ride safe and enjoy the journey!
I didn't see Manara commisar but I bought this chrome baby 4 months ago. I did 5000 km till now. It's a fantastic bike and I owned a lot during the last 45 years….
I have a 2023 T120, I find it to be a great all around bike. My wallet also only allows me to have one bike and this is it. I have installed a windshield, rear rack with a removable top case, side panniers, and a comfort seat is on order. I like your word smooooth, but my word is torque! I call it a gentleman's hot rod. The torque makes it such a fun bike to ride. And it is a very easy bike to ride. And I just love the classic look of the Bonneville. I like its simplicity and its not overdone with electronics. Im a senior rider and this is all the bike I need. Its great around town or on a tour.
I got the triumph king and queen seat. I haven't been able to ride it yet, bike got put up for the winter right before the seat came in. Just sitting on it it's nice but I really need to do a long ride to give an honest evaluation of it. Stock seat got uncomfortable after about 100 miles.
@zteburner5882 It's better than the stock seat, and it's definitely more comfortable. I still get a little squirmy in the seat after about 150 miles but I think that's just my old but, lol. Usually by the time I get uncomfortable it's time for a fuel stop anyway. The seat is a little narrower toward s the front and that feels better when you come to a stop and have both feet on the ground. Some have said that it makes you slide forwards, I don't find this to happen to me. I like that it doesn't take away from the classic look of the bike either. Some other seats I have seen are just hideous. So the bottom line for me is that it's better and was a reasonable cost, I'm happy with it.
I absolutely adore the T-120. I find myself gravitating to it more and more and decided this will be by next bike. Currently ride a Harley Electra Glide and Honda GoldWing GL-1800. Been to the Triumph dealership 3 times in the last month….. ‘just looking’ 😂
Just bought my dream bike after researching online...a Gold line T120, 2022 with 110 miles on the clock. It was marked down from $12500 to $10500. I love the way it rides...great torque, smooth clutch, great suspension and really comfortable.🎉
Man, the bike is delicious from here, so it would feel a lot better riding it, for sure. That paint job is stunning good looking, blue meridian? With all that chromed surface. It’s a looker 😍 Congratulations for the decision!
I’ve test ridden the t120 but got a great deal on a 2018 T100 and couldn’t be happier. Perfect for nipping around the city with short hops on the freeway. But yeah that t120 felt smooth ….so much power and smooth torque ….sometimes wish I had a t120 even if I don’t need the power
I bought my 2020 Bonneville T120 Diamond Edition from Ian. Great guy to deal with. Love this bike. The only thing I had to change was the stock mirrors for bar end mirrors. Got tired of looking at my shoulders. Good luck with your new bike. Hal, Boynton Beach.
I have the exact bike. Ordered it in December ‘22 and took ownership in April this year. It’s an amazing bike and I’m completely in love with it. Suggest you swap the mouse ear mirrors for some bar ends, install a Dart fly screen (FYI - the matching Meriden Blue from Triumph is still on backorder), install some low-profile directional lights and rip it up.
How does the chrome tank sun rays reflection is working for you, I sold my 22 HD Low Rider S ti buy this specific model & make but the chrome on the tank is making me think twice
I love the engine so much theatre but still, like you said smooth. I own a Truxton because I pretend I’m a cafe racer 😂 from the 60’s! Happy riding and welcome back we missed you 👍
Just got a T120 Bud Ekins edition and after 200k I love it. Had many different bikes including a Moto Guzzi V7 racer with a chrome tank too. Like the one we see in this video at the very end in the garage with the number 7. I love power and torque of my new T120. Great look and great sound too.
I mean, jokes aside, this bike weights as much as many Adventure bikes, or Touring bikes if not lighter, and at least the seat is not 1 meter high, so even if you are not 1,90m you can fit perfectly. I'm 1,77m and when I first seen the Bonneville t120 I immediately felt at home, with the pegs position, with fuel tank size, and with the handlebar, even the weight of the bike is not hard to handle, and the materials, the build quality is on another level, for me the Bonneville is on top 5 of best bikes to have.
@@Pierfrancescotancrediit is up there for sure. I am not sure how sales are but unfortunately sometimes companies manufacture what we ask for and then we don't go out and purchase that product. I did recently aee a video where there was excitement that triumph was continuing another year with the bonneville line, so perhaps this may be the case.
Not at all. I adjust the clutch lever out very far because I only use 2 fingers and leave my other two fingers on the grip. This is common practice. The clutch is engaged for shifting, otherwise it would not shift.
Thanks for a cool video. I have a 2020 T120, and my first one was a 2018. I love the bike and it's versatility. My only concern about the paint scheme on your bike would be reflection blinding you on that chrome tank on sunny days?

I hope to own one, one day. But you like said, career, kids, etc. get in the way. As much as I like my 69 Honda CL450 scrambler, I really want the modern technology and features to enjoy as a daily rider.
I owned 8 bikes off and on as a young man never thinking of a wind screen. Now in my 60's I have returned to bikes with a heritage classic which has a screen and I now can't imagine not having one. I tried a T120 prior to buying the heritage. I knew the T120 was a lovely bike but the wind blast compared to the heritage was a deal breaker. Wish the shop had offered a screen to try on the T120 though. That would have been interesting.
I got a Bonneville early this summer and it gets the ladies....all of them. Who would've thought? It also gets a lot of elderly men approaching me but that's cool by me because I'm just about ready to join AARP myself.

Just curious as i am 60 next year and returned to biking 5 years ago. Kinda see as being my last throw of the dice so to speak. Good review.
