This is what happens when a police department, specifically Helsinki Finland organize a motorcycle ride for youth. They interacted, they went over rules and regulations, they even put youth on notice and gave them an opportunity to organize this police lead rally.

That rear stand looks identical to the Bike LIft version which I believe is rated to 400kgs which should more than cover someone sitting on it. Maybe they are just covering themselves.

Hmmm. You had me going until you said that you have not had a ride with it... I ride a BMW GS. The tail bone is the only thing holding me back -- it's long. I dont want to get the AirTech 5 because its older tech and like you said -- non starter to have to go back each time it deploys -- even its by error.... So I want the 7X but I am scared it wont be comfy on my GS.

Experienced the same issue. It was due to vapor locking with the charcoal canister. Removed the canister and no other issues with my Ducs. 1st thing remove on every bike going forward. You can also clog the fuel filter by leaving the EVAP canister installed. ua-cam.com/video/DXWTacTPGCQ/v-deo.htmlsi=ZhS1l6XMloqE6DsF

An engine is an engine! Don’t matter if it’s a scooter, a performance bike or even a car. You always drive it as it was made to be driven. But if you have a small/soft motor, you should drop a gear every now and then and push it for only a few seconds. If i ever drive a small motor, the environment has a few situations that provoke the extra push! Pay attention to where you are in the moment It’s not something you’re supposed to put to much thought into. Just don’t hold back when your bike/car asks for it

I had an accident over 3 years ago and made a Rookie mistake by applying too much front brake in a higher gear. Consequently, locked the front brake ( the old bike did not have ABS) and got thrown off the bike and catipulted into the Air in a forward direction. I instinctively put my right hand out to mitigate the impact of hitting the road. Fractured my wrist as a consequence. Gloves did their job and stopped any skin from being ripped off my hand. Kevlar motorcycle pants and motorcycle boots provided full protection to my legs and feet. And my motorcycle jacket stopped any more damage to my torso and right arm. Most importantly my full face helmet provided full protection as my head slammed sideway into the road. As a result the helmet protected me fully. If I had no helmet on I would be dead. In the end the accident only resulted in a a fractured wrist that needed a cast on it for 8 weeks. Then had to do a few months of physio to relearn how to use my right hand. No other injuries because I was wearing full protective gear! So I know the full value of protective gear. If I had not worn it, my injuries would have been more numerous and serious and would have resulted in a longer recovery time. I was very lucky and I've been back motorcycling for many years and enjoying it. And it is good to know that your own gear mitigated the damage to a large degree.

Same here, broke numerous rubber bands and broke two spring mounts about every 8 months it just breaks apart. Harley claims they've sold 500 of the large and me and one other are the only ones that have broke one. HD also said they will not replace a broken one anymore for me when it breaks again. Interesting!

On my 5th shaft drive bike since 1987. Zero drivetrain, shaft problems on any of them. On my last bike, I lubed the splines for literally a few dollars every 25k miles. Sold the bike (2009 BMW R1200RT) with 100K miles on it. My current K1600GT has over 60k now. DId a 5k miles 12 day ride and when I got home, it only needed an engine oil change. No changing chains, sprockets, adjusting, cleaning, etc.
