I am a Pakistani. Let me correct you and Shah Hulton when both of you said that Urdu is more like Arabic which is not right. Urdu language is a blend of different languages like some words are taken from English Language. Others are from Turkish, Persian and Arabic like in Urdu language, Train means same as you do in English, Garden also means same meaning as English has. When you say Salam Alaikum , this word is taken from Arabic language. Due to this flexibility and openness, Pakistani people can learn English quickly as compare to European and south American countries.
@@periqb1585 bro he is right listen again what he said u juxt misunderstood
@@periqb1585 Urdu is born and Bread in Northern subcontinent, not too long ago. This language is nowhere understood but in the subcontinent only. It is interesting to know that Urdu in the subcontinent and English in Europe almost has the same history and same age. both the languages born in recent history and both have become "lingua Franca" of the region. if you open the dictionary and find out the root words English itself is cocktail of several different European languages i.e Latin, Greek German and French. And the same with Urdu based on Sanskrit grammar and it has root words from Sanskrit then Farsi Turkish Arabic Russian Chinese and the old local languages of the region. Infect once Farsi (Persian) was the official language of the subcontinent for almost from eight to nine hundred years before it got colonized by the Britain 150 years agovcd
hi Jetlag, I am a Pakistani as well from Faisalabad and I live in Toronto. It's so nice to see you guys enjoying your time in Pakistan, I haven't been there in over a decade so seeing Pakistan through your videos and all the delicious food has been great ever since I found your channel. I will be traveling back hopefully soon enough. I wish I could run into you guys or hangout with you guys whether it's in Toronto or in Pakistan.
Lovely to see u both again in my country , enjoy ramadhan and yes thanks alot for showing the real Pakistan stay safe and stay healthy.
Lovely to see you back in Pakistan ,after so long ..Respect from London
When I lived in Karachi Pakistan, I went to an English medium school. It was a convent school, and English was like a first language. We watched English movies read books and magazines in English so I never had a problem in Canada with language. Although there are people in Pakistan who don't attend schools like I did so, their English isn't as smooth, but still they understand you and can communicate in English....more or less. No Turkey was not under the British, so they have their own language, which is Turkish.
Thank you for your kind word and love for Pakistan ❤
Hi jetlag I am a British born Pakistani and love your vlogs since I stumbled across your channel, you have a lovely warmth personality love all your Pakistani videos, as for a emoji I was thinking of the Tuc Tuc or Rickshaw typical Pakistani icon, stay blessed and safe God Bless Both
❤🤲❤
Nice to read the welcome of the people from Pakistan , hospitality is pleasing god
In the streets and bazaars, wealthy people prepare tables for the poor and indigent and organize Iftar, which anyone can join.
Yes, Chinese cuisine has been popular in Pakistan for a long, long time. There used to be a lot of Chinese who were Pakistani citizens.
Thank you we Pakistani love you too guys ❤️🥰
Simply wow …sunset from 1:20:05 to 1:30:00 is amazing in background
The food on the street for breaking the fast can be provided/sponsored by individuals, to local ngos and charities to businesses. It's part of giving back to society during Ramadan.
Dates are used to open the fasting. It is because its SUNNAH OF LAST PROPHET HAZRAT Muhammad SAW. Sunnah is the act which is perfored by Hazrat Muhammad SAW and also because in Mekkah and Madina dates were and are their essential food item.
Bro, go to Monal Pir Sohawa for Iftar & Dinner.
You'll be impressed by the vibes.
Make sure you get the table in the outdoor terraces, don't sit indoors otherwise its not worth it.
We Pakistani himself fall in love with Pakistan after watching vlogs made by different people.Alhamdolliah
Pakistan's official language is English and Urdu, and in school you have English subject compulsory but in some Private schools the entire curriculum in English and after high school in college and university level the entire curriculum is in English. So maybe that's why Pakistan speaks and understands English.
Wonderfull to see you again In this beautifull country
Garden hose with a gun😂😂😂 it was way too literal . Loved it
English is mandatory second language at schools. We have to study english from pre school to high school. Pakistan has the third largest English speaking population in the world after USA and India with 108 million people speak and understand the language.
Wow Very nice My dear ❤️❤️❤️
Lot of Love From Islamabad Pakistan

Karachi's population is around more than 20 million people, plus Karachi was the first Capital of Pakistan. For Karachi you need quite a lot of days to look around.

An airline that put out a monthly travel mag, with articles about spending 3-4 days in a world city. It would suggest staying at this palace, or that castle for $1500 a night. Eventually the 3 days would cost $10,000. You show reasonable stays, nice accommodations, where great food and bargains are. I appreciate you doing this for NORMAL travelers! Keep up the great work!
Happy to see you guys in Pakistan 👍
Amazing! I would like to go there!

Welcome back to pakistan , second time I just simply see the comfort on your face and awarness like you are coming back to canada . Older people speak English cz they were more closer to British colonial influence and millennials know english due to social media culture . Urdu is arabic script , Indian cant read it but if pakistani guy reads it , indian can understand it , Arab can read Urdu but not know the meaning of it except common arabic words which are taken from arabic and turkish .
Welcome back to Pakistan Allah geve you more respect and sucsse love from Pakistan
Welcome to Pakistan. Love from Rawalpindi.
Welcome in Pakistan love you guys enjoy your trip ❤
In the beginning (1947 onwards till early sixtees) KARACHI was the capital city but in 1960s a new city of Islamabad begin to immerge as planned capital city. Islamabad was a brain child of then Military dictatory Field Marshal Muhammad Ayub Khan
its so sad how Karachi end up now it used to be a modern place and capital name suits it to it.
Your live video chat literally sounds like organised podcast, you guys are good and look awesome together . It's really good to see people randomly enjoying Pakistani vibes and food. Love from Pakistan. May God bless you
Hi there! The rolled carpets are for free iftar meal for everyone to join most probably who can't afford food to break their fast
It’s so nice that you and your mother are so close Ma Shalla Allah
The main reason you have stomach problems from the food is the low quality cooking oil. You can take your own high quality cooking oil (example olive oil) to a restaurant and ask them to prepare your food in it.
Maybe it's the best time for broth of you to become muslim the best way of life inshallah 😊

Chai is made of hot water brewed with tea leaves and then milk is added and cooked further for a while. Sometimes, other warm spices like cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and ginger are added for flavour. Depends on your preference.

Fasting in Ramadan is a duty for Muslims, the main purpose of which is to understand the pains and sufferings of the poor and needy people in the society.
This what everyone says nowadays but the main cause is self control because u have to fast even if u are poor ... Fasting teaches us self control and deepens our faith and tells us that in the end all our sufferings will be over and we can have whatever we want, its just matter of time❤ like we control over selves till iftar because of faith and then we are given everything... This is how we need yo control our lives so that the reward in after life will be waiting for us..
@@selfpossessed3940 You are right, basically the purposes & blessings of Ramadan for Muslims are endless
@@advgudu yes brother
And to work on our behaviours and improve our attitudes, will power, stamina, personalities, tongues. It's also a cleansing practice for our bodies and our spirit.
Because it's compulsory for all Muslims to fast, not just rich or well off muslims. It's a core/spiritual strengthening for the rest of the year.
Also to form and maintain good habits for the rest of the year.
We Muslims don't have new year resolutions. Ramadan is the month of resolution for us. We set a target and try to incorporate it in ramadan and then try to maintain it through out the year.
The main purpose of Ramadam is to please ALLAH simple as that.
Who is proud to be a part of Ummat e Muhammad (ﷺ) ❤❤❤❤❤🕋🌹...................

Ramadan is 30 days. Eid ul fitr is the festival that follows Ramadan, when you're not supposed to fast anymore. Instead people feast for 3 to 4 days as you celebrate the end of Ramadan.
Nice to see her again both of you welcome to pakistan
29 or 30 days of fasting based on the moon sighting. Islamic calendar is Luner (moon) that is about 10 days shorter then regular calendar.
