Caramel Apple/Apple Pie Jam
10 cup peeled/chopped apples (your preference)
2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1) Combine all ingredients into a heavy bottomed pot. Stir until apples are all coated. Cook over medium heat until it starts to simmer, stirring to prevent burning.
2) Reduce heat low and cook for amout 40 to 60 minutes at a steady simmer, until the apples start to break down and it starts to have a jam like consistency.
3) If you are going to can this recipe follow standard canning practices. If not then let cool, store in the fridge and enjoy.
Apple Scrap Jelly
Peels and cores from about 12 to 15 apples (your preference)
Enough water to cover in pot (1 gallon)
4 cup sugar (depending)
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (again depending)
1) Add peels and cores into a heavy bottomed pot. Add water until it covers them. Bring to a boil and cook until the cores are mushy and the liquid has reduced by half, about 90 minutes. Strain out cores and peels.
2) Measure your liquid before returning it to the pot. For every 1 cup of liquid add 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Mix until sugar has dissolved then bring bake to a boil. Cook until gel point has been reached, about 50 minutes.
3) Once again if you plan to can this recipe please follow safe canning procedures. If not, let cool, store in fridge and enjoy!

Nice job! Luckily you don't usually need pectin when using apples because they contain their own natural pectin. Those both look delicious! I hope you make more! Thank you for participating.
I didnt know that about apples lol thanks so much 🥰🥰
Good job for your first time!

Hey Tammy! Awww thank you! I love making people smile and laugh so that means the world to me! And i am soooo happy it turned out lol i figured if nothing else we would have gotten a funny fail video for the collab! Lol.🤗🤗💚💚🥰🥰
Well, Tisp Tsip Tisp, That was pretty good fro your first time. Apples have their own pectin so usually you can make them without adding any additional pectin (peck-ten)
Thanks Jesse lol and I didn't know they had their own... And thanks I wasn't sure how to pronounce it! Lol much love 💚🥰
Looks delicious and a two for jam and jelly. Thanks for sharing 😋.

Aww thanks Jeremy 🥰💚
Jam and jelly look delicious good job
Thanks hun 🥰🥰
Looks like a success. Will you keep it up and make more? I love being able to use all my scraps. Either the chickens get them or a scrap jelly is made.
I am hooked! I plan on making more for Christmas gifts this year! 🥰🥰🥰
I laughed when you said tsp….😂 instead of the whole word teaspoon.😂
The first one sounds like it would be really good showing the fall and holidays and you did a great job with your first time!! Isn’t it amazing what can be made out of the scraps too?? I’ve done that with both apples and peach scraps…❤
Hehe yeah i have been saying it that way since i was little.. My favourite Disney movie when i was younger was sleeping beauty and the one fairy, the green one, that's how she said it when baking the birthday cake for Aurora... And thanks... I was so scared it wasn't going to work and i am so glad the scrap jelly did.. I actually got the idea for that one from your salsa video where you made tomato powder from the cores and skins! Much love 💚🥰
Yummy!❤❤❤
Catching the replay.
Looks yummy!!!❤❤❤❤
Thanks Evelyn 🥰🥰
Delicious recipes. Can't wait to make them
Let me know how it turns out if you do 🤗💚🥰
Ooooh you had me at CARMEL!!! LOL 😆
Hehhe it was soooooo good too! Lol 🤗💚🥰
I'm new to your channel.i love it so so far. Lol I used to make jelly with my aunt all the time but she never made jelly in the summertime we always picked our berries and put them in the freezer. When the weather got cold she made jelly. She didn't want to make jelly while it was hot out
Hey Marcia... Welcome to our family! And i can see why your aunt didn't like making it during the summer it makes a lot of heat and steam for sure... Thanks so much for watching 🥰🥰🥰
I'm 53 and I've had a stroke so I'm not as active as I once was. I miss being able to can and work in the garden. I live in an apartment and I have one squash plant yellow and one tomato plant. There are times when my food bank gets overloaded with vegetables onions celery carrots so they give me as many as I want and I put it in my food dehydrator
@@marciajones6479 well that is a blessing to receive the extra veggies.. And i am sorry to hear about your stroke... My Mom had one a few years ago before she passed and she also wasn't as active as she was before so i totally understand... If you ever want to chat you can email me or send me a message on Instagram... Hope you have an amazing weekend 🤗🤗💚💚🥰🥰
::: gets the spoon::: let me at that!!!
Lol come and get it Xander.. You could probably use the vacation from the chaos lol and summer has only started lol 💚🥰🤗💚🥰🤗
Great job Tiffany !
Thanks Cato! 🥰🥰
