So true, I even got it to Overdrive! Sounds so so good! Even maxing out the compression, I haven't got a sound that I don't like or that I can't use. It's such a versatile pedal and definitely the best compressor that I've ever used. My Bloom replaced my Deep 6 as well, though I do love Walrus Audio and have lots of their other pedals.
I hate when I forget to close the snare off when playing guitar. xD I've been really looking forward to this pedal. I don't know if I can justify the price though. It's incredibly versatile and seemingly well made so it's not that it's overpriced. It's just a lot of money to drop on one pedal. $300 is usually the max I would pay unless it was truly special. I might go for a used Chase Bliss Condor instead and just keep my current compressor.
Honestly struggling with this video bc I don’t hear the same tones from the Jackson Audio videos. The bloom boost also doesn’t sound as great in this video as well. Is the sound quality similar to this video or the Jackson Audio videos?
Hmph. I used a Sennheiser 609 on the cabinet and left the Samson mic I was using on my vocal on while playing. I think this pedal has more to offer than what is shown in both this video and the Jackson videos. This was just a very quick first impression. What I also noticed while editing is that I have my drum kit fairly close to where I am in the video and didn’t drop the snare which you can definitely hear when I am playing. Thank you so much for the feedback though! I will absolutely be diving more in to this pedal in another video.
The Bloom, boost, tone changes a lot depending on where it is set. I also noticed it was difficult hearing what the pedal sounds like from the Jackson videos but Ive had mine now for a week and it has taken over my Walrus Audio's deep six spot on ny board very quickly. It's an amazing pedal and very versatile as well. It sounds great, the compression side as well as the boost too.
My 1st Impressions were the same, WOW! This pedal is awesome and Im learning more everytime I play through it.
Yeah same here! Every time I turn it on, I am blown away by how thick it makes the tone of the guitar.

I use the Magenta mode, and like the blue and teal modes as well. Which mode do you prefer, or do you find yourself using the most?
Thomas Weikel Ive really been in to the blue mode. Super smooth.
It's a good pedal, it also has a beautiful sound, thanks for sharing
got one on order from rogue guitars, hopefully, it won't take too long, I adore my prism.
Me too! Let me know what you think when yours arrives!
“There are three jacks on here.” I see what you did there.
Jackson... jacks on...

So you're going to buy a Chase Bliss pedal and contradict yourself?
@@bigupliquidchilli8709 used condor is around 200/250$
How is the green preset? Which one is versatile preset?
