RELAXING Overland Camp ASMR | Lake Shore Campsite at Bowman Lake California, Tahoe National Forest

- After overlanding California for a few days, we found ourselves in need of a place to rest. We still had a month of exploration and travel ahead of us and didn't want to burn out before we got into the thick of it. So we found an amazing campsite on the shore of Bowman Lake in the Tahoe National Forest. This was the perfect stop before taking on some much more challenging terrain on our journey North.
In this episode, we spend a day relaxing and listening to the sounds of the wind blowing through the trees, the water lapping onto the shore and the crackle of the campfire. We would call this episode ASMR-ish... because once our daughter wakes up... all bets are off.

You lucked out. Every time I’ve been to Bowman Lake, it’s been mobbed and totally overrun by campers and people in side by sides. Even on weekdays. Beautiful place for sure. And there’s trophy size trout in there if you like fishing.

@@SixOverland how do you like the starlink? They seem really expensive. $120/month!! Is it worth it?
@@michaelkolinski We love it… love that we can use it anywhere… especially off grid locations where cell signal is nonexistent. That being said, an items value is really subjective and we couldn’t begin to define an items worth for someone else. What we can say is that the speeds we’ve seen rival that of cable internet and you can take it with you and use it at home. That connection speed and portability is worth it to us, but may not be worth it to someone else.
