I really appreciate how healthy these meals are with all the veggies included!! Sometimes it can be frustrating to try to cook on a budget when the budget recipes tend to be very heavy on carbs like rice, beans, potatoes, tortillas, etc with a lot of processed foods used, and have very little good meats or veggies included.
You can make indivudual meatloaves in a muffin tin. Iwas at a mother-daughter banquet one time and they had meatloaf cupcakes. They made the meatloaf in muffin tins and piped the mashed potatoes on the top like icing.

Great that you can feed everyone on such a low budget! I cook my zucchini with a can of chunky tomatoes or jarred sauce, sliced onion, garlic and olive oil. Sprinkle grated cheese on it, add rice or pasta and it’s a meatless meal!
Lisa counts how many dollars she spent in a week; I count how many different delicious vegetables she consumed! Broccoli, spinach, cabbage, mushrooms, carrots, onions ... 😄
Nobody else has mentioned it, but Le Crueset has a lifetime warranty on almost all of their products. My sister got a chipped serving tray from a yard sale a few years ago, and when she reached out, they offered to replace it for free! Not sure if it'll work for you, but might be worth an email to customer service if you'd like! Thanks for always bringing great recipes and entertainment, you're one of my big faves
I have always done them as meatloaf muffins. They cook way faster and i par cook half for the freezer to either finish in the oven or microwave so they don’t get dry. That’s how I got our girls to eat different veggies when little because they could put veggie decorations on the mashed potatoes on top of meatloaf mountain but they had to eat all their decorations!❤
I actually have a video from last year I think where I did exactly that. You're right, I definitely could just do them in a muffin tin, I just think the little loaf pans are so cute! LOL
And…. They are perfect for cutting in half, dowsing in your favorite marinara sauce on a homemade hoagie with mozzarella cheese in the broiler for a big ol’ meatball sub!
I really like the way you grip your knife correctly so that you have much better control of it. I hate seeing when people stick out their index finger on the top of the blade. It's so dangerous like that.❤❤❤ Hey from Charlotte NC
Your groceries for the week for 3 adults is amazing and inexpensive. For 1 person I spend 150 plus each week. Way too much but it is also organic only. Whole Foods prices are from MARS!!!! Nice job you guys again and Merry Christmas.
If Andrew likes the broccoli stalks (and you can peel, slice into French fry shapes then season and airfry!), I hope he’s trimming and salting up the cabbage stalks- that is an amazing treat! Also - I sent the silicon mat Andrew used when he was making the buns. 😊 So happy you’re using it!
I clicked so fast to watch! Everything looked delicious, I could watch you cook everyday and never get tired of it! Your hair is beautiful btw! Came back to say, I’m so jealous of your buy nothing haul! Also I love hearing about how you plan your grocery shopping and meals and little details like your weekly fridge clean out/assessment. ❤
As with every on of Lisa 🤩 Dawn’s videos, I am preparing to settle in for a cozy comfort, incredibly thoughtful, and curated assortment of weekly dishes! It’s safe to say we can easily take comfort in knowing we are always in good hands in Lisa 🤩 Dawn’s kitchen! 🙏🏻 🙌🏻

I love watching your videos and seeing how you create your meals, very inspiring and insightful. I can't wait to try and make your meatloaf, it looks delicious. Also, those eggs are so cheap!!! Here in Melbourne, Australia a dozen large eggs at the supermarket is $8.50 (USD$5.40)
This is by far my favorite channel. I love how you use everything you have its really inspired me. I also just thrifted that exact corningware casserole dish!
Compost all food waste minus meat for your garden. Very simple. Put chicken wire around a large cardboard box and fashion a wire "lid" that can be hooked closed to keep out racoons. Put old branches in bottom then a layer of dirt. Now add your veg. scraps and then you will begin to layer to the box with leaves after food, then a layer of dirt/soil, can put grass clippings in alternating with leaves in season (no weed seeds) and continue. When you start fall/winter by next planting season you will have magnificent dirt with your best friends: worms. Give it a whirl!

I bought a tiny dehydrator on FB marketplace in 2020.
