The Apple Magsafe battery pack only charges my iPhone from 0-20%. It's in no way worth the price. There are $10 battery packs that can charge my iPhone 12 pro Max 3 full times. That's 15x the Apple battery pack for 1/10th of the price. Apple is clearly stealing from customers who need that extra power because Apple didn't want to put a larger battery in the iPhone 12 models to begin with. And still have a wire attached……
@@W42PZ that's why I mentioned it's not the most elegant solution. You can velcro/cable tie the wire and puck with the powerbank. Not as pretty as Apple or Anker's but if you want to get the full 15-watt magsafe charging speed, this is the fool-proof solution.
Just make sure the powerbank's output is 20W or more in order for the magsafe charger to be able to deliver 15W. But if the powerbank's already delivering 20W, why not just use a cable?
This battery power bank sport iPhone 8???
Yes, I actually have another iPhone and it’s an iPhone 8 and it works with them. You may run into some issues with these powerbanks when charging it since it’s not primarily intended for Qi wireless charging phones. It’s primarily intended for MagSafe iPhones but it’s worked for me with a good adhesive magnetic ring that doesn’t interfere with the wireless charging.
bro what is the name of ur case
why did i get so startled when he yelled "its big" lmfaoooo
The next version of apple MagSafe power bank comes with LCD screen that acts as wireless rear selfie camera view finder and cost USD200 more. Lol
Anker 622 is way better than all those you have there. hope you can consider that in another video. Thanks.
The anker HAS pass through charging fyi
Yes you’re correct, I did mention that in the video. 6:53. It just doesn’t have reverse passthrough charging when I tested it out. Check out my other video if you’re interested in the newer anker powerbank that came out 👍
Dose the mophie powerbank fit for iphone 13 ?
It’s been reported that it doesn’t work with the iPhone 13 pro model but it will work for iPhone 13 and mini as well as the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
the Belkin 2.5k can charge by the iPhone 11
I bought the iWalk. It sucks so much. The MagSafe stopped working after a week
That sucks! Mine has been working fine since uploading this video. If you got it off of Amazon it will be an easy return and refund. 👍
will these work for my iphone 11?
Damian I charge my other iPhone which is an iPhone 8 with a couple of these powerbanks and it works. You just need a good adhesive magnetic ring or magnet on the back of your phone that will allow you to charge your iPhone 11 without it interfering the Qi charging. However, these powerbanks work better with iPhone 12s and up and are primarily intended for them.
No one mentions the safety features of the Apple unit. I’d never get anything else.
Exactly. In the long term Apples version will not degrade you phones battery
@@steamdecknation7908 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Otter box has one now and I’m sure you would like it best . Maybe can do another review and add the otter box battery to your review.
I actually did review otterboxs recent powerbank - Here’s that video: ua-cam.com/video/Cs82LFM61B4/v-deo.html
Not better then Apples 🤷🏻♂️ especially with the new update
@@MichaelsExplorations I just wish apples had 5000mah.
@@sixkings7831 do you have the 13 or pro max? They have bigger batteries then the minis if your the type of person who is on the phone all day I can understand what you mean overall I’m happy with it
@@MichaelsExplorations yes , I have 13 pro max . I love the battery and phone . If I had to complaint . I would say it’sa little heavy .
The more research I do . I want to keep battery health more than charging faster . So I got the apple 20w charger and c to lightning plugs . I picked up esr MagSafe 10k mah for now .
Yeah apple charger is cool cuz of the os features but best for your Buck ankle is better and if you have other devices with usb c the anger is future proof. Apple might have usbc in all of there devices in a fee years.
Let’s hope so Jordan! 🤞
que wey?
i like anker style
Thank you so much i am going for the iwalk
It’s too big don’t u think?
Why would you want usb-c on the battery pack when you already have lightning cables? You're throwing shade for no reason, nobody what's to carry around two different types of cables.
yup, thats why im choosing the apple pack.
What phone case are you using?
Spigen MagSafe Mag Armor case for the iPhone 12 Pro Max👍
I’ve heard complains that Mag Armor’s magnets are weaker compared to Apple cases’ ones leading to worse grip to MagSafe holders. Are you happy with the grip with this one of yours? Love Spigen cases but this rumor prevented me from getting Mag Armor for my 12 Pro Max.
@@sergey4162 I haven’t had that many complaints with the Spigen MagSafe case. Occasionally, the MagSafe wallet slips or falls off the back of my Spigen case but you’d get that with the apple brand cases as well. The magnets need to be stronger in my opinion.
I would have to say, first of all the Magsafe battery pack from Apple looks way better than the other ones!!. Even though everybody says it charge very slow and your phone didn't get 100 % of battery charged. I use it almost every day and it fits and feel very very well in your hand and also on your trousers and of course it's better when you have/use a mag safe AppleCase : My experience the leather and the clear case are better than the silicon cases!!!
The same thing with the cases. Everybody's doing commercials about other products that try to be as good as apples but I'm sorry I experience a lot and to me there is no comparison to the Apple products... Apple product are the best for an Iphone or any other product from Apple,, period!..
Ya there are many options that blow the week apple charger out of the water. Don't get me wrong I like the apple but it's the worst product Apple has released in a long time.
this is the best review i've seen so far! Thanks!
Would it be possible to also do a comparison to Cygnett's MAG 5000 version... looks good
ua-cam.com/video/6VdQ4GYaUBw/v-deo.html
Anker leads the way with doubling as a wired power bank. But I'd like to know if the Cygnett does this too
MagSafe battery pack still the smallest and lightest
Waste ur money then
name of the case on ur phone?
Spigen MagSafe Mag Armor case for the iPhone 12 Pro Max👍
The Aukey Basix 20,000 mah is also really good. Great for media consumption as well. 😁
No Magnet?..
Use any aftermarket charger wired. Not magnetic. I killed 3 iPhones from the unshielded magnets in those. Especially the anker one.
If you killed one from unprotected magnets or whatever why would you do it again on another 2?
@@bendemola7528 i had no idea why all my phones were having display issues until I used another 12 pro without any aftermarket mag chargers for a while then attached it. I confirmed it.
You really need to double check your units! To write MAH and say milli ampere hours is wrong! MAh is MEGA ampere hours mAh is milli ampere hours, see it in a lot of videos, make sure the correct letters are written as capital letters 😊 and milli amps and milli ampere hours is different as well, milli ampere/amps is a current unit and milli ampere/amp hours is a battery capacity unit😊 sorry for a such negative comment but it needs to be correct while talking about these things!
I’ll definitely choose fonts that aren’t in all caps next time. Thx.
Nice :)
Başarılı power bank ler süper 👍
I got the Apple battery pack and I regret it, it only gives up to 40% of charge to Pro Max models ، its very slow and heats up my phone
They expect you to buy more products
Today I made something like this. I soldered a powerbank to a wireless charger and placed it inside my phone case. K thought I was original.....
I have a Xiaomi wired 20k mAh 40 watt dual way charger. Makes this magsafe a gimmick.
They need to come up with a tiny MagSafe battery bank like the size of a quarter it may only give you an extra 15 minutes but it would be so valuable
Mophie
Çok kullanışlı👏👏👏
nice Nike shirt
Just got the Official IPhone mag safe battery pack so happy safer all around! I have the 12 mini and have no problems at all 🤷🏻♂️ There is also an new update for the Apple battery pack out now GO WITH APPLE 🍏
Iwalk for me. More recharging options more battery life and cheaper. Yup
Yeah having a MagSafe powerbank with a lot of battery can be really great. I’ve enjoyed my iWalk 👍
Please practice your script. It’s obvious that your speech’s cadence is correlated to the way your script is printed. Random pauses probably where the text ends and starts on the next line.
Lol I’ll stick with plugging it into a fucking wall with these phone prices.
Apple en iyisi
Why he look like the dude from you
I dont have a iPhone
The Apple Magsafe battery pack only charges my iPhone from 0-20%. It's in no way worth the price. There are $10 battery packs that can charge my iPhone 12 pro Max 3 full times. That's 15x the Apple battery pack for 1/10th of the price. Apple is clearly stealing from customers who need that extra power because Apple didn't want to put a larger battery in the iPhone 12 models to begin with. Apple didn't make the batteries larger because they were releasing this battery pack for $100 and wanted to capitalize on the extra income. Apple is exploiting customers and The United States Government needs to do something about this and immediately!.
LOL! It's called free market. Don't like it? Don't buy it. Plenty of competitors offering better battery packs.
Güzel
Apple ürünleri çok iyi
9:44 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Benim halen daha iPhone 6 kullanmam dışında başka problem yok 🤣🤣
You said something incredibly stupid about power comparison and voltage, but I don’t get paid to teach you.
That boy thick!!!!
Oops, you never talked about how to use the MagSafe battery correctly. It’s meant to be left on the battery all day. That explains why you weren’t such a huge fan. Awkward. 😬
Also, you might want to speed up your teleprompter.
😳🤣😂😷
The only people that want USB-C on a iPhone are android users, all Apple users that use Apple devices have and use lightening cables. I have 1 charging cable in my house and it’s a lightening cable, everything else is wireless same thing with my car, wireless. Hopefully Apple switches to wireless ONLY soon so all the android fan boys lose their USB-C ports 🤣🤣🤣
99 USD lol
