    FYI - I see a lot of comments asking if these can be taken on a plane. Yes, all of these can be taken with you and the TSA specifically in the US wont be able to confiscate them since they all are under 100 Wh. Even the Anker 250W one is under 100 Wh.

      The 250w one was designed to be as closed to the limit as possible, it's even advertised to be the powerbank closest to the limit by being 99.54wh

    Its surprising how much the 737 outperforms its 200W successor. Yes they came out with a 250W but the sales going on right now give the 737 a big advantage imo. Thanks for the info

      I'd say the 250W Prime powerbank is the true successor to the 737. It, like the 737, features 140W output and input and 21V 5A PPS support, which the other two Prime's don't have. In addition, the 250W Prime also beats the 737 in battery capacity, charging efficiency, and thermal performance.

      @@TheStopwatchGod do you think the 27650maH 250W will be allowed on all international airports? I'm worried it might get confiscated. I can get it at 174 dollars right now, I'm planning on cancelling my order for the 737 which I placed just now I got it at 156 dollars so price difference is really tempting. In my Opinion, the best Upgrade they made from 737 to Prime27k was the feature to be able to configure the USB-C Port to be Input only, Output only, or automatic. If you dont need that or the docking port or the rediculus 250w dual port output power, than the 737 is perfectly fine

    The charging base makes it worth it for me.
    It's saved me so many times during power outages. When you have to actually plug the thing in, and use up a c cable, and wall adapter, you're only going to charge it when you expect you need it or it completely dies.
    The charging base gives it a "home" i put it there every time I'm done using it or cleaning which means I always have 27,000 MAh available to me, which is a life saver during a power outage.

    When I am buying powerbanks, the right balance between size and capacity is important. I would not carry anything too bulky. After all these will be carried and not used at home. So apart from the 12K one I find the others overkill. 10K powerbank don't really charge with 65W so I could not even charge my laptop. It's not easy but thanks for the video.

The last one was the storm 2 slim and it is bricked saying that it cant charge because the temperature is too low. Upon checking the internet, there is tons of people with the same issue. It appears to be the thermistor. Shargeek will not exchange it, the most they will do is give you a card for a discount on a new one. The 24000mah is measured at the nominal voltage of a single lithium battery cell - 3.7v. The Mac 8600mAh battery quoted is likely to be at around 11.1v, or 3 times 3.7v - so it’s not a fair comparison. What we should be comparing is Wh.
      The Anker 737 is 86.4Wh. The Mac would be 95.46Wh (11.1v x 8.6A). So there is not enough capacity in the 737 to fully charge the Mac even before the inefficiencies are considered. Many tests put the 737 true output at around 72-75Wh after the inefficiencies. A lot less than the 95Wh of the Mac fully charged.
      So, in summary the 24,000mAh IS a marketing scam, in a way because it’s not a true measure of the energy stored. All power banks should be advertised by Wh

It would be nice if anker had a compatability checker for various laptops that their power banks work with but I guess the only places to find that would be Reddit or some community forums. I bought the 737 second hand but the seller did not include the charging cord…does it matter if I use a different cord?

    • @T3CHUP
      @T3CHUP  Місяць тому

      Yes it can matter. Cause there are a variety of usb type c cables out there. There are 3A and 5A usb type c cables and a 3A one will provide slower charging speeds than a 5A. The one that comes with the Anker 737 supports up to 140W and there are others out there than can support less than 60W.

    How do i get the Bluetooth thing on the screen?

    • @T3CHUP
      @T3CHUP  5 місяців тому

      It’s only available on the 250W Anker Power Bank. You’d press the main button until you get to it 3:50 and double click the button again to activate Bluetooth on the power bank.

    Hi, does the 737 work with the Anker app?

    • @T3CHUP
      @T3CHUP  2 місяці тому

      Nope. It doesn’t have Bluetooth connectivity unlike the Anker prime power banks 👍

    Why you dont menotion that 737 usb c ports are not supporting IQ charge on otherwise the rest of models are supporting IQ

      I mean, did it matter in these tests? The IQ tech on the prime power banks were supposed to charge devices faster than the 737 but it didn't...

    If you are using 737 for steamdeck. You can only use 1 full charge steam deck with a remaining 21-26% pbank capacity. Dont get fooled by mah.

    Why are these so expensive. They have the same wattage as a typical drill battery. Should be about $50 each.

    Unfortunately you can’t take it on the airlines given the 100w limit for travel.

      I was just reading up on that reg so I could meet and not exceed it. The watts specified above (130W, 200W, 250W) refer to the max transfer rate across all ports. TSA specifies 100 watt-hours (Wh) capacity as the limit . The largest Anker Prime's 27650mAh capacity is 99.54Wh, so any of these models are good for carry-on luggage. Guessing that's why Anker capped it there.

    Everything is good until TSA scan this powerbank. Remember 100w is Airline allowable wattage. Anything above 100w will be confiscated.
