my question is the time to charge? it would assume any magsafe charger would charge a bit slower than using the normal 20w apple wall adapter?
that's literally been the only reason i've never bought one; but i definitely want to organize my cables better

I struggle with these, I like the idea, I like the aesthetic when items are on them. But how long do I need my watch on there for? Not long at all. How often do I need to charge my EarPods for? Not that long.
Do I just need something to hold and charge my phone? Probably.
I've been looking for a solution like this, and really appreciate the video. I reckon the Otterbox 3-in-1 and Hirise 3 Wireless are fantastic options for my use case

I like the Belkin 3 in 1 stand also, at least for desktop and general use; I have the TwelveSouth stand also, and it’s inexpensive and definitely worth considering, my main issue with it is that it’s too light and would be much better with more heft in the base. I don’t care for MagSafe at all for nightstand use, I’ve looked at many dozens of products and I’m currently using the flat Qi Belkin 3 in 1 charger sold by Apple, though I’d consider a MagSafe one if there were designs that were more protective and pet friendly

I have the Hyper and really like it. Just wish the Watch was a fast charger but that’s not a deal breaker.

Got the MagSafe duo and without faster watch charging it’s painful to use. Recommend only getting charges with full speed capability

The Hyperjuice is my favorite. Shame is they are out of stock on their website. Would love that one a lot because of can fold and can charge 4 devices at once.

I like the OtterBox 2-in-1 suggestion, since I typically have my AirPods in a thick protective case that MagSafe cannot hit. I’d need to get a thinner MagSafe friendly case so I can go with the recommended Belkin or just do the OtterBox 2-in-1 and charge the AirPods separately. One new feature with iOS17 is the Standby mode where the phone can display information while charging horizontally. Many of these cases should be compatible but, the adjustable OtterBox seems ideal for it.
The Cube is a great charger.
I have been using Anker Charging Stand which are slow but do the job for night time charging however I am observing with the new Apple 14 pro max sometimes they don’t find the right spot to charge so the charger keeps blinking and you have to tilt and keep the phone . I think Anker should launch a new updated version compatible to charge two iPhones together that’s good for us.

I bought a MagSafe Duo a couple of weeks ago even though I didn't need one. I actually like it a lot. It looks nice, it can fold up and be taken with you on a flight easily (it fits in your pocket). Sure its overpriced, it can only charge two devices, and its not USB-C, but you can still get away with bringing just one charging brick when you travel. What I mainly like about it is that you don't have to remember to bring your Apple Watch charging puck whenever you leave the house for more than a day.

@@doofuszhi Had the Magsafe Duo and once I realized the Apple Watch charger is super slow I returned it. I don't know about you, but when I travel I need things to charge fast. If Magsafe Duo had Watch fast charger I'd buy it again in a heartbeat

But the airpods pro 2 would prerible get a mag safe (magnets) charger. and most of them don't include that.
Need more minimal travel options with minimal cable and fast charging for ultra
i’ve used morphie and otterrbox one and they both suck and do not charge the phone 100 percent while charging all the other devices .
i returned both and got a nomad apple watch base station pro and it charges all 3 of my devices fast , it also gives you 2 additional plug ins for a usbc and usba in the back so technically you can charged 5 devices including your ipad with just one device and one plug 🔌 the nomad charger rocks it was on sale for black friday for 100 bucks
The TwelveSouth one at 6:39 is great, but the Apple Watch charger for me keeps connecting and disconnecting from the watch, making it ding every time… which also is a takeaway since it is not an Apple-certified charger.
I have the same issues with the Journey one. This is the downside of non certified Apple Watch chargers. I would go for the more expensive certified ones or the one you route an actual Apple Watch charger through (even though they subjectively perhaps don’t look as nice).
Belkin 3-1 of course 🙌 been using that beast since my 12 pro max 🫶 now still using it for my 14 pro max, watch ultra and airpods pro💪
I have one of their older models of this, but it won't charge my Ultra. It does charge the Series 8, but I am guessing the Ultra does not get perfectly aligned because if I angle it off slightly it gets detected and it will charge for around one minute and then stop. Any how, I've ordered a current model which looks similar (apart from the one I am getting now has an area for AirPods Pro charging). It does specifically mention in the compatibility section for it on the Apple website, Apple Watch Ultra so hopefully it will work.

@@Eshabee I tried that and the fan was way too loud, it was very powerful so I’m more than sure running it at 50-70% would’ve been more than enough tbh

I am a huge fan of standby mode in IOS 17 which allows me to use the iPhone as a nightstand clock. Most of these stands don’t allow the phone to charge horizontally. Anyone with a suggestion?
The belkin Boost Charge 2 in 1 is perfect if you wanna do standby, I’m trying to decide if I wanna buy it or not, just got the new phone. But I used it in store and the standby worked straight away/perfectly

Is there a buzzing or vibrating noise that comes from charging your phone on the wireless charger? I just purchased the otter box 3 in 1 and I’m getting a high pitched noise when I put my phone to charge. Is this normal? First time with MagSafe.
I bought the Belkin Boost 3-n-1 from Apple. Amazing quality and even works with both iPhone 12 Pro and iPod Pro V2 in CASES!!! Fast charging, sound design, and works so much better than other chargers. Better than Apple's own 2-n-1 fast charger. Very happy with my purchase.
Also glad that it came with its own power adapter!
How is the weight/friction of the stand when trying to grab the phone? Does it move (heavily), or will it stand still? I am looking for a charging station for the first time, wanting one for my desk and one for my night stand. I would love that stand to stand rock solid, so that I am basically able to grab the phone with one hand, without needing to adjust the stand or hold it with my other hand.

The Anker 3-in-1 MagSafe cube says it has fast charging for Apple Watch. I just purchased it for my new iPhone 15 Pro. Crossing my fingers that it does what it’s advertised to do!

I ended up getting the Insignia 3-in-1 wireless charger with MagSafe and turbo+ cooling technology. Went to Best Buy and this was the one they had/recommended. Just got it two days ago and trying it on the phone for the first time right now. I have the iPhone 11 so had to order a magnetic conversion kit so it would attach to the charging plate. So far it seems to be working just fine.
I preordered an new Zens 3-in-1 charging stand. It will be shipped in march. I am so excited because it looks sooooo GOOD and promises a lot 🤤🤤🤤

With the nightstand mode for the Apple Watch, I'm sticking with the chargers that show your watch face. I may change my mind on that if I end up getting a phone with an always on display that I could use as my nightstand clock.

My favourite one is still the Apple MagSafe Duo. Why? Compact format. Fast Qi charging. Minimalistic design. Nowadays affordable at around EUR 100,-. All others you always need to make compromises. Ok the Duo is only charging two devices at once but that’s ok for me.
Apple MagSafe Duo also makes a big compromise in Watch charging speed unfortunately.

The case's camera protection 'bump' is so close to the Magsafe area I'm worried it won't fit on and charge without taking it out of the case, something I don't want to do.

Had two Otter-box 2 in 1 chargers. First one, burnt out (died), the replacement unit, the phone tilt hinge broke... These are very expensive chargers and should last more than a few months...
The otterbox 3 in 1 in your video is not the same one on your link. The Hirise 3 will not properly charge an Apple Ultra watch. The company has admitted an issue they cannot fix.

Why is no one making a dual iPhone magsafe charging stand? I need to charge TWO iPhones and an Apple Watch. I don't want to take up the realestate on my nightstand with two stands, nor do I want to buy two stands.
You didn’t mention about Anker and Satechi. you just don’t have these products that is why you can’t say anything about them or they are not good enough so that is why you didn’t include them in your list?

@@v_ganHe most likely has a plus sized phone, such as the 15 plus, 15 pro, etc. Or he has kept a MagSafe accessory on his device for so long that it is not as magnetic as I use to be. He could have something that is blocking the direct connection to the MagSafe such as cash behind the case making the magnets not close enough. Or his phone just doesn’t support magsafe

If you used your logic and common sense, you'd know that all wireless chargers generate heat - leading to faster battery degradation. It doesn't matter if ESR isn't apple certified, it's simply the safest way to prolong your battery.
2 reasons I won’t buy Belkin, despite their quality and relationship with Apple: 1 proprietary charging plug. No thanks. I want USB-C everything. I also want to see the screens of all my devices and more? I want my Apple Watch in bedtime mode. Currently that can’t be accomplished with Belkin and it can be with other vendors that have comparable quality. Step up Belkin. I got the cash, you just don’t have the product yet.

The dealbreaker for all of these is the lack of magnets for the airpods pro 2. I assume next year we’ll start seeing this integrated.

What do you mean? You can charge your Airpods Pro 2 even on the Magsafe for iPhone and Magsafe for Apple Watch.
Our Belkin stopped working after one year. Not trusting them anymore!

ESR has two lines. One is MagSafe and Apple certified the others are just magnetic and Qi. Going forward, it will all be Qi2 or MagSafe!
