Definitely will be picking up the belkin just for emergencies. Very convenient for you to just toss it in a bag and let your phone charge up if you ever need it, not to mention it looks sleek too!
I have both the Anker MagGo 622 and the Apple MagSafe battery pack. The Anker is heavier, bigger, and gets uncomfortably hot while in your pocket charging your phone. The Anker’s edge is also straighter so it also digs into your hand while holding it with the phone. It also doesn’t have the software integration, so the phone will still download updates while charging with the Anker, making the device even hotter. These type of wireless battery packs are mainly meant to be used as battery extenders, not chargers. It’s meant to be left on your device for extended periods of time to act as a second battery until you’re able to recharge. Since it’s attached to your device for extended periods of time, it needs to be comfortable to use. Having used both, I prefer the Apple MagSafe battery because it’s lighter and smaller and doesn’t get hot and the edge is more rounded so it’s much more comfortable to use, not to mention that it charges much faster than the Anker when plugged in, which is when it is used as a charger instead of a battery extender. That means the Apple MagSafe performs better than the Anker as both a battery extender as well as a battery charger so the higher price is justified.
Definitely get the Belkin since it charges faster than the Anker and is far cheaper than the apple. With the savings you could get a second bigger power bank of the smaller capacity of the Belkin is an issue.
i have used the apple magsafe battery for about a month now and it’s ok overall but for the price is just unjustifiable, not to mention it gets pretty warm if you use it when it’s charging and when it gets past a certain temp is sort of just doesn’t charge which i’d assume is a safety choice to preserve the battery health
The reason why it only Charlges to 95 % even tho it has 5000 mah. Is because wireless (industrial charge) is not very effiecient. So alot of the electricity is lost ( excess heat ) so not all the charge is going to the battery but instead heat. Thats why You can feel MagSafe batteries or just wireless charging always Get alot hotter then with a cable where there are more effiecient. Dont remember the excact number.
I like my apple magsafe battery pack. Its nice just pulling my phone out my pocket and the battery is still at a healthy level til the end of my day. I don’t worry about battery life anymore. Im a light to moderate user so it works well for me for my iphone 12 mini. For heavy users id say skip the apple one it will definitely disappoint but for light users who just want a sort of battery level maintenance accessory the apple one is worth considering(but the price is high though) and works well with extras thrown in like the ios intergration . Wish apple would have given an option to enable 15watt charging for a limited number of minutes and a limit number of times per charge of the battery pack for times that you need a quick boost so you have access to that charging speed when away from a wall charger
@@jakewharmby contemplating buying the Apple battery pack just for this reason. Have you noticed battery degrading? I mainly want to use it as a plugged in wireless charger that I can disconnect when I have to and it has a battery.
@@sacramentojuarez5732 hey - no I haven't noticed any degradation. And how you've decribed the way you will use it is exactly the same as how I use it. Just remember to buy a 20w plug for fast charging!
Hi, thanks for your explanation. May I know if I using Belkin one to charge my iPhone, will my iPhone getting heat? How much the temperature while using Belkin MagSafe power bank? Thanks again
Hi.. Can the Belkin really charge other devices via the USB c port? On their Q&A page it says that the usb c port is for charging the powerbank only. Please elaborate.
I used the Belkin charger with my iPhone 12 mini, but it only charged an additional 30% which is really low. So I am curious what your experience is after a few weeks of usage.
As long as you use the apple battery with a fully charged phone you will love it 💯The software integration and safety make it far superior to the competition
I love my apple mag safe with my 13 max I get a extra 4 hrs everyday it’s best when used with a freshly charged iPhone you kill the case then mid day you start to use the fully charged phone battery. + it’s safe all the others can Potentially overheat you’re phone
@@leeblanding Can u help please!!!? There is a orange charging LED light and if I charge it without the iPhone the light only blinks orange for around five seconds while charging. Then disappears right after. Is that normal? Like Does the orange light have to be lightning and present all the time while the apple battery is charging? Or is it normal to flash for a view seconds like that and no LED light showing anymore?
I love the battery pack.. of course all depends on battery usage. I only use Pro Max models.. i have the 14PM... . 2 scenarios: one heavy usage: 9am 100% iphone 100% battery pack: doing alot of phone calls, screen recordings, sending text messages, work, email, responding to social media messages, then gym listening to music etc... by 2pm battery pack died and phone was 90% so a good 5hrs extra of battery life: by end of day 11pm or so was around 15% battery and then charged my phone that day like around 12hrs of active screen time somewhat light usage disconnected my phone at 3:30am 100% battery and slapped on the apple battery pack aslo at 100% for this one the battery pack died until 5:30pm (NOT EXAGGERATING) so it was around 14hrs but this time i only had like 5hrs 40min of active screen time; so a lighter use. but still was using my phone a bit for phone calls, messages, screen recordings etc. and same thing phone was at 90% after it died. so again, all depends on use case scenarios, but I feel if you use it with iphone at 100% it comes in super clutch . and it's worth it if you use it correctly
I don’t remember if it was oliur or ali abdaal who said it but a lot of tech youtuber use USD for prices because most of their viewers are from America

Does it have the MagSafe animation on the newest iOS?
@@user-uw3bu1ow1w I don’t believe so. It just has a haptic vibration feedback when connected and again when charging.

Agreed. I also have the 12mini and the Apple battery pack, and I like how it doubles up as a wired fast charger (I use a 20W power brick).

does it fit nicely behind iphone 13 mini for the belkin?

Hi, I wanna ask if its good for all iPhone?
Awesome video man! And the lighting is absolutely PRIME
Why no built in kickstands?
Where did you get that desk mate? Been on the hunt for one just like that.

Is it suitable for I phone SE I mean MagSafe belkin
Hey mate do you have the mophie one coming in anytime soon?
yes!! apparently the mophie one is even better than these two, which are always out of stock
Personally I need a case- trying to put a phone in my pocket using only magsafe sounds like a nightmare.
FYI Bellini is stating 5w magnet wireless charging on their website

oof that’s kinda weak considering belkin has a good brand name. can u use it as a wireless charger as well? not sure if it’ll heat up the phone tho
Been waiting for this, great video mate!
Are there any MagSafe cases for iphone 11?
Good comparison to these three well known brands 👍
Shoutout to the new office studio area space thing
Q: Is the Belkin also compatible with the iPhone 13 (mini)?
Try using logic. Does the Iphone 13 mini have magsafe? Yes.

Informative with great aesthetic. Very nice :)
Has anyone used these with 13 pro max? Since it has a bigger battery then the 12 max how long does the charger last before that needs a charge?

somewhat light usage
disconnected my phone at 3:30am 100% battery and slapped on the apple battery pack aslo at 100%
for this one the battery pack died until 5:30pm (NOT EXAGGERATING) so it was around 14hrs but this time i only had like 5hrs 40min of active screen time; so a lighter use. but still was using my phone a bit for phone calls, messages, screen recordings etc. and same thing phone was at 90% after it died.
