Yup, my first car owned. I was all of 17 or so and bought my 68 Camaro SS 350 for $1495, used. Around 1972 or so. My payments ... around $68/month. Looked like the same car in this video with the exact striping in the front. But, my striping also went down the sides. Oh, the memories !!
I'll tell you what that car needs, the snot run out of it, a decent fan setup, and some TLC. I put my 5th Gen on Autotrader Sunday. If it was sold, I would have been on your lot 4 hours ago. Perfect birthday present for me!
Sharp looking car I've always loved Chrome wheels. Little to much stacked on the engine for a driver . It would be ideal for someone who loves tuning . Change in the weather change the tune . Probably an 8 second car at the strip . It's set up for drag racing no a weekend dating car . Love the color tire & wheel set up .
and great price i know how much it takes to build a motor like that i had an old 427 chevy motor i was building i was going to build it up to 750hp but i fell on hard times and sold it cheap
Yep, we've all been there brother. Best thing about this one is that all the hard work is done and you can just drive it and enjoy it.... if you can stay out of jail long enough 😂
*scarezone* Well you're entirely right about this 68',because it's so loud even with a great radio the motor won't enable you to hear it!!....1968 Z's i don't see near as often as 69 one's!!
Hey Nick that is one great looking car it kind of sounds like it's got a header leak but I have been around blowers I've never heard that sound like that it's probably got a 2-speed Powerglide transmission in it that car is set up for drag racing
Nick The Razor . Where do you find these beautiful cars. This car is the beast. You need to buy this car for yourself. I definitely would not be listening to the radio and that car. That motor would be music to my ears.
Superchargers always felt imitation to me.I like just good old raw power no enhancement necessary.I do like a twin turbo however.Lol.A great car for supercharger fans though it if finely tuned could be a destroyer.😎✌👍
@@theMister07 the ‘69 Firebird is my favorite convertible, but the ‘69/‘70 Grand Prix is my favorite hardtop. I’d love to get my hands on one someday. 👍
Car has a wicked exhaust leak. Do they intend on getting the car to at least idol correctly. Brakes work great but are mushy? I'll have to look at price but I hope it reflects the running condition. Blown 350 with nitrous, hmmm. How many bottles of nitrous have been run through it? Nice driver condition car but many things to address. At least he's honest when doing the video. Full disclosure.
I've only watched a couple of these car videos now and found they look really nice until they start them up and then it's long list of problems....belt squeaking , exhaust leak, fan blower doesn't work, radio doesn't work, horn doesn't work, various gauges don't work, wipers don't work, etc....is it more about getting them running, throw on a paint job, don't fix anything else and sell them? The reason I ask is we have a place near me here in Washington State that I notice the same thing. All the cars have new paint jobs and run but if you examine it or get in you notice nothing else has been touched.
Man that exhaust leak is killing the sound of the engine if you fix that it would be a totally different beast
I thought I was the only one that noticed. That ticking sounds like a lawnmower in the interior haha
Just something about ‘67/68 that my attraction has never diminished since their first arrival. Damn fine looking machine.

Man , y’all keep the best affordable rides !
you got the best job imaginable..just looking at the cars on that lot gives me joy,you get to drive them all
I’m definitely coming to y’all when I buy my dad his dream car. Hopefully you’re still around in 4-5 years
Holy cow the video quality looks damn good, and that is the most badass first gen camaro I’ve ever seen
Cool car, need to fix the exhaust leak.

this doesnt need a radio just listen at the motor to hell with the radio lol

Yeah u sound like my uncle but music when racing and stoned is so fun !
Sounds are cheap anyway I pay for all door speakers
A radio isn’t gonna be worth trying to listen to with the thunder that monster makes lol. Probably why nobody put one in to begin with.
@@1979Camaro it hi mk no n8ce
I had a 67 when I was in high school back in the 70s. It had a 6 cyl 3 speed in it wish I still had it.
My first was a 68 Camaro SS 350. I was all of 17 or so. Oh yeah, once upon a time. :-)
6 cylinder 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sweeet! My first car was a 68 Camaro, Ive had a few over the years, nothing like a Blown 1st gen. this one wont last long.
How can you not have a ton of black marks leaving your lot ?? 😁
Because Pop's there listening & watching if the listening becomes too loud if ya get my drift!!! 👀👀😂😂😂
I can’t drive 55” song comes to mind !
Lol.. or bad to the bone...

Love the car, the vid, the blower.... HATE the exhaust leak!

I love a roots style blower poking out the hood.

That motor would be music to my ears.
That 68 Camaro is bad ass , first gen camaros are my favorite.
First gen Camaros are the muscle cars to own… Most iconic of them all
Looks like spring is coming on there. Here in PA it’s hinting of spring.
Yea till Thursday when its going to snow🤦♂️
Beautiful ride, now that it's idling on it's own it's a little high.
THIS one for the win...y'all should pull out that Coronet and drag!!...very nice piece Nick... Im sharing these videos on FB as much as I can.
Much appreciated!
This would go in my bedroom as a real model car!! You lucky dog you!! Get to drive this thing! Nice!!!
i wonder what that cop was saying to himself as you drive by him seeing all that motor sticking out lol
We got ourselves a live one here better keep an eye on him
Cops love these cars it’s the little rice tuners they want unless your being stupid
67 stripe and mirrors but who cares
wow that motor sounds great !!! That baby is fast !!! I did enjoy the ride Nick !!
Thanks 👍
You think it may be setup for racing? I wonder what gave it away?
I'm assuming the ticking noise is either an exhaust leak or noisy lifter.....
Exhaust leak likely. Blower car don’t like to idol with out being up in temp
That infamous sneaky black backpack has great taste 🤘 😮🤘
Already pending sale. Not surprised.
No horn in the sweet 68 street beast.!! 😎😎😎
Love your videos you do a great job my first car was a 68 like this minus the blower lol
She is a beauty, love the way she looks and sits perfect 👌
Needs a fan shroud asap I bet it 🏃♂️ runs 🔥
I would feel better if you just named the things that do work
Man that is a beauty 👌 keep up the great work Nick 👍
Get rid of the carbs add fuel injection. Party time

Nice Ride , 6 MPG ?

DAYUM It Looks exactly like my 68. Except I have black & white houndstooth & a 545 CI BBC.
This is much more car than I thought 35k could buy
Idle control screw on the driver's side of that carb needs to be turned up
Super nice, Supercharged Camaro! Looks and sounds awesome brother!!
Damn, that’s a nice ride.
Thats a lot of car for the money, i love it!
Thanks Nick that was awesome
Very beautiful amazing looking car beautiful colour thanks Nick have a very nice day
Awesome ride. Passenger break light out
Yes it was
Very nice car! A lot of car for the money!
Of course the horn doesn't work, those grant gt's never work. And try tuning the radio to a station first, then turn it up.
Nice big fatty tires on the back.very nice looking.
Two-speed Powerglide with reverse valve body? I thought you would have known that Nick LOL, it is a drag car
That's one bad ass Camaro that is nice that's a good one Nick
That's some serious American Metal
what type of rims are those
Id like to get those for my 67 firebird
nicely done great work
To tell the truth this Chevy camaro of 1968 is pretty fine drag car
Sic! Do love the pro street style. 💪
Running Ethanol?
Omg 👀😳 beautiful!
Thank you! 😊
im thinking this is under priced by around 5 to 10.000 dollars if i could i buy this one
Yeah I just get ride of punks like Gib The Kid lol I mean look at his name lmao
Makes me want to blow out my ‘69 Firebird. 😂
I CAN’T wait too restore my ‘70 GP (Model J) too it’s original glory.
@@theMister07 the ‘69 Firebird is my favorite convertible, but the ‘69/‘70 Grand Prix is my favorite hardtop. I’d love to get my hands on one someday. 👍
Wonder if this would be a good first car?
i dont know if i would floor it lol it be kinda scary maybe having it on big open wide road i would then lol
That’s a good lookin go kart.
That would be great for beer runs😜
95% chance it's a two speed power-glide. Very common trans desired in drag racing applications. Also common in basic cars in 60's and early 70's.
In the first drive over, you can see it's a turbo 350.
That's a tunning issue you should not have to play with throttle to keep it running when warmed up
It quit by the end of the ride, it’s just been sitting a couple years. Needed to be driven to work out that issue.
i like that , do you guys ship cars to new zealand by any chance

Thanks for watching , car is sold
Congratulations. You seem to price your vehicle's fair. I love the full disclosure. Keep doing what you do. Good to see honest guys still exist.
Don't need a speedometer in this one, the gas hand would outrun it anyway.
Sold for 34k? Shit bro id hold out, those are old, I'd hold for 100k, thats my favorite kind of cars, hotrods
Passed a cop while accelerating a bit there lol.
Is there an Indian dealer on the same street?
Guys find some fun Badasses 👍💯🏁
oh noooo lol here we go yess blower car

Yes they are 50+ year old cars. Thanks
I like when you said you thought it was set up for racing you think cool car few bugs to work out I like it though
I love this 68 Camaro
I’m buying one just like this when I buy my house
I think the horns gonna work on this one!
Not great no radio no wipers and no horns LOL hahaha
@@mikeradie7758 its a drag car
One foot on the brake, and one on the gas...I can't drive...55!!!!
👍🏼bad ass camaro brother 🤙
I would definately trust you to sell me a car. Great presentation.
Thank you
That Camaro is bad to the bone. It would fit in with my vehicles with that wicked exhaust leak lol.
If the seat belt won't go on go run around the block 2 or 3 times that's what I do
If I had a choice this would be the car this is bad ass
If it wasn’t all chopped up and was in good condition it might be worth $30k. Like it sits I wouldn’t give $25k for it
Already sold for $34900
2 speed power glide.
Blown 🐁!💪
The exhaust leak is due to low ground clearance. If you fix it the problem will come back next time you hit something hard.
.
Chev 350, exhaust tick. Always.
SWEET RIDE!....
Thank you
Hey Nick roast those tires a little bit
You have a breaklight out on the passenger side bro.
This makes me want to sell everything and come get that car.
excellent
Stop for gas?
racing fuel
