I own a car similar to this and it’s super fun to drive slow. You can blow the tires off whenever you want. Idle out and light them up and go back to an idle with out really killing the speed limit.

The '67s had vent windows, round turn signals in the grill, no center divider between the back up and taillights, and no side markers. If this isn't a 1968 Camaro, someone went through A LOT of trouble to make it look like one.
First thing I noticed was its a 68' not a 67' Camaro.
As a drag car I wouldn't be surprised. Especially the doors, even on the nova's they would swap to the ones without the vent window.

Used to dream of them until I bought one. Sadly I no longer have it.
My friends called it "Baby" because I loved that car so much.
That's to dangerous for the streets it's for the track. You wouldn't be able to drive that on streets in a lot states if not all.

I love Camaros, and this one is real nice but that spoiler looks like they picked it up at ACE Hardware and welded it to the trunk. Such a shame. Whoever buys it should have it removed and put the original back on.
It’s a’68 Camaro, the 67 did not have marker lights on the fenders and quarters, still an awesome ride, looks very streetable👍🏻
90% of drivers on the road would put that thing in the ditch the first week they had it.

Very cool ride, even though it's a little much for the street. I would buy it just for the I finally got the car that I used to see in all those hot rod magazines growing up. Sweet ride. It would be tough to build that for only $30K. In my state (Mass), you could not get an inspection sticker for it (no blinkers, wipers, window washer) but I'm sure all that can be rigged up easy enough.
I am shocked this car is under $30k. Ya its a race car but to build this car youd be looking at $80-100k easy. This one wont last long.

Trim was on in the beginning of the video so that Camaro will fly & it will lose some trim every once in awhile !!

You're obviously way too young to know how to signal prior to the advent of turn signals.
Here's what you do, ALL with your LEFT arm outside the driver's window -
Left turn - left arm straight out the driver's window, pointing to the left
Right turn - left arm straight out, bend forearm straight up in the air, creating an "L"
Slow down - left arm out ,but bent down towards the ground, palm facing the rear of the car.

You put left arm out window with arm bent at a 90 and hand up for right. Arm straight out for left. And arm out hand facing down for stop. Should have checked for any brake lights first.
i had the 68 black camaro ss car rollbar in1983 it was raced black paint was flawless when you opened drivers door you crawled over bar to get into a basically stock interior.i had to buy without 454 motor that was all chromed.it was pro built tubbed car.owner didnt care he was willing to separate body and motor and trans.you dont see that anymore for sure...i never got to drive it but i paid 4500 for body a long haired skinny blonde girl came along and i sold it for a engagement ring she left me 5 years later after car was gone im 60 now and still kick myself

Here's an interesting fact about 1st gen Camaros with rear spoilers. if the stripes were painted on the trunk lip below the spoiler, it was dealer installed. If the stripes ended at the spoiler, it was factory installed. My 68 Z/28 had a factory installed spoiler, verified by the stripes ending on the spoiler and the build sheet.
THATS A 68 CAMARO not just because of the doors but its got side marker lights 68 tail lights and 68 parking lights.

Are you sure that's a 454? The valve covers look narrower than the 71 El Camino I once had. The whole motor looks too small. Perhaps they had a small block 454?
its def a 454 go by the valve cover bolt patterns. i guarantee you in real life those are bigger than a small block just weird camera angles

It’s a race car , looking for driving quality does not apply but making a pass quality does.
IMO, Nick you should explain slick walk - these are low pressure tires designed for track use. Low pressure, tall sidewall bounce in the first part of the video. Drag racers know this but many are not familiar with DOT slicks on the street.
