Really helpful, thank you! Can I ask approximately how much set up costs are when starting up as a self employed FHP? Xx
I would say around £5,000 including theory, practical training, setting up etc. I'd have to work it out to be honest x x.

Do you sterilize nail files? Is it cost effective compared to disposable? I’m starting a podiatrist clinic.
Hi Ben, Yes I clean and sterilise by autoclave all my instrument including the nail files. I know quite a few who just use disposable nail files, regarding whether one is more cost effective to the other, I am not sure.

Hi 👋, I've bought my instruments from various places/suppliers. Some are regret buys as they're not good quality so over ti.e will be replacing them. So Podiacare, c and p medical, Medifoot CPD school. But I'll be looking at other places too x
@@notapod1 thanks for your reply, Jess. I've been searching from different online suppliers. I tell you, these instruments are not cheap especially the good quality ones and we need to purchase a bunch for each instruments.
@@mudan3052 I know right! I'm attending a foot health conference in June so hoping to try out different instruments from different suppliers whilst there before buying, and getting a good deal as they are usually discounted at these events x

ooh, i'm not sure how big it is (measurement wise) i think its a 2.5L lol x
in fact every fhp do it unless work in clinic
