Similar story to yours. Was a home care assistant for 4 years, HCA in secondary care, qualified as a nursing associate (which I think is similar to the assistant practitioner) in 2019. I have been working in a GP since I qualified, about to revalidate 😳 I live in lincolnshire and am not sure where I can do this course. Do you do 12 months of theory with most courses and then go on to do the practical? I was just thinking about how far I would need to travel for the practical. I'm glad I found your videos 😊

Hi im going to be starting my FH journey. Glad ive found your videos they are so helpful. I wanted to ask as a FH are.we able to use tools to scrap of really thick dead skin on people's feet? Ive seen videos in it but wasnt sure of that was in the role of a FH or a podiatrist. Thanks

I love fitville shoes, I'm older now but when I was young I wore Adidas mids and then as I started growing bigger and taller I needed the 4e width in toe box area so I started buying the Nike monarch iv and it's actually a decent shoe but I am impressed with fitville I mean for shoes I have to remind myself I can go out to the store I have shoes on. Lol

Hi Jess. I am a HCPC Pod. 30 years experience. When I first qualified in the dark ages one of my first patients I saw was a very well known Dentist working in Bond Street in London. I wanted to pick his brains on dealing with patients. He told me to ONLY charge patients who failed to show to an appointment if they did not phone. Life gets in the way sometimes. So, if a patient phones on the day of their appointment and they are ill or their car has broken down I never charge them. If they do not phone, then I charge. I understand you are doing home visits (which is what I did in London when I first qualified) but I think it still is the best way to treat your most valuable assets.

Yeh i love this hack of yours and have used it since i saw you recommended it in the past. But can i please ask which brand of grits you use, And where you get them from? As the ones i purchased, have been curling on the edges as iv been using then, but are ok on the paddle file. The adhesive doesnt come right to the edge, so had to trim them so they didn’t go to waste.

Hi Jess what are the trays you are using? Just a thought what about including a plastic pedal bin liner bag in to dispose of all the ppe etc, then the trays could be re stocked/ and reused?
