Thank you very much for taking the time to make videos for everyone. In order to find some of your products (I.e., the gouge blade for corns), please speak a little slower so we can get the manufacturers brand name hopefully. I’m from the USA and couldn’t find them on Amazon.

What stockists do you use to order your stock from? Are there any things to be aware of? Is there a good time of year to stockpile items? OR when they tend to have offers?
Hu Julia, I use a variety. I have a list of suppliers on my website. In terms of what to be aware of, delivery can be expensive so order in bulk!! Also, so.e of the prices are excl. Vat so when you get to check out the price increases significantly as the VAT and delivery is added. Once you knowbyour brands that you like, if they have offers on it then yes maybe I'll stockpile, otherwise no x x

Hey Jess. Who do you use for your blade disposal?
No one yet as still loads of space in my sharps bins. I will be looking into. I know some FHPs ask pharmacist if they can give to them to be disposed of, ot their local council if they are nice, but otherwise it'll be getting a company to collect. X x
Hi Jess, can you tell how was your clinical training in SMAE?
I thought it was great. Everyone has their own cubicle to work in, it is full on but you really end up learning quickly especially with the use of SOAP notes and abbreviations. Daily we had to learn new medications, we had to write up our reflective practice also. And twice during the two weeks we would have a sit with one of the trainers about how we was doing. Oh there was also home work EVERY DAY too!! And we had to write a case study.o the second week we had a little test too ....you know, maybe I'll do a video on this. There's so much to say about it x x

@@magdalenazielinska6787 yes I have two , one as a back up. Some haven't had good experiences with it but bike found them fine, they just need cleaning regularly of dust. I bought both from amazon too x x
Thank you , do you have 9 or 11 inches stool to sit on ? I think you have a small one , Is it comfortable? I am wondering which one to buy … for my knees better taller but smaller is lighter . What is your suggestion Jess? Many thanks
@@magdalenazielinska6787 I'm honestly not sure, this one I have is not too tall but perfect to be at a level of my clients feet, any taller and I'd be leaning down too low which isn't good for the back. These stills you can get from Dulelms too so you could always try it first. There are also stools with height adjustment, Mini Max stools I think they are called. X

@@notapod1 great thank you. It’s difficult to know what’s needed and what’s not. I’m trying to plan ahead as much as possible and get bits and pieces ready to practice after my practical in April.
@@beckythomas5282 you're with SMAE right? Instrument wise 2 sets are included in the training price, plus monofilament. The trainers are PODs so they'll also be happy to give you advice. Maybe I'll do a video on this x x 🤔
@@notapod1 that would be great Jess. I believe we get two sets of instruments when we go to training but it would be great to have a better idea on what you’d recommend for someone just starting out. I’m sure there are essentials and then probably some things to avoid. Loving your videos. 😊

@KayleanNeeve-qk2jz you don't have to put the foot rest on it, it's just what I do. Not had any problems x x
