Can I mount this upside down from the ceiling? I am not putting in a cabinet but want to simply lower my tv when watching. The flip down electric mount will not work for my use case.
We're sorry, but we do not recommend using this mount upside down. The mechanism inside is designed to push up and may not be able to support the rated weight capacity if instead pulling up.
What size tv is used in this video? Can I use this bracket with a 58 in 4K 2021 model sharp tv?
We used a 55" TV for this video. The mount can easily support the 2021 58" 4K TV from Sharp.
What is the cabinet used in this video? Any info available for it or similar?
The cabinet in the video is something we put together custom, so it's not an available product. We do not know of any cabinets that are ready made for mounts like this, so many of our customers will modify an existing cabinet to support it, custom build one, or simply install the mount to the floor behind the cabinet. For the height of the cabinet, we recommend that it be at least 6" taller inside than the height of the TV to be installed (the mount's minimum lowered height is 27.5", and the maximum lowered height is 39.7").
