- Alright, no nightly events that everyone has seen, I'm giving you the REAL rare items! Items that you can only find by going on deep dives into the Stardew Valley Wiki! Hopefully I'm able to show you a bit of my favorite game that you've never seen before!

I did that with the strawberries lol. Poor girl is doomed to be married and dumped in just about all my playthroughs. 😅 On android I even divorced Elliot, married her, then dumped her and got Elliot back with an upgraded bedroom.
A weird one I've seen only once: Iridium Milk. Not the Iridium large milk, the regular sized Iridium milk. Generally, if the cow likes you enough for it, you'll just get some variety of large milk.
I got heaps of them, while they mostly give the large milk they occationally give a small milk, even at max friendship, and it's nearly alway irridium by that point. Though that could just be on mobile
The iridium snake milk ? I think the only way you can get is from completing the 100 skull cavern Mr Qi quest
@@m1lo606 No, the small milk (like you get from a cow with no hearts) that was iridium quality. Only ever seen it once.
@@nickcampbell5626 try getting ✨Diamond✨ from a Duggy. It's possible pre-Skull Key. Only happened once for me.
As of 1.6 you can now obtain penny’s exclusive furniture items during the new desert festival if she is one of the two villagers with a shop.

i got one just today and then found this video i was shocked to realize that i had just got a extremely rare item.
I feel like an entire search needs to be dedicated towards the undiscovered secret. All code miners and tryhards need to unite in the search of this one mystery

my best guess is the skull cavern signs, they can be deciphered but I cant remember what decoder then need, they translate to something along the lines of the monsters being sealed underground by the wizard

I feel he was probably trolling since people have been through the code plenty and I'm sure would have uncovered this.
The final not found text could be Robin saying “Lew- oh…” instead of Marnie. I got it recently and I’ve seen it only subtly mentioned. Just as rare, but much lesser known.
I've definitely seen a lot of people talking about that one, actually. I think I've even encountered it myself! So sadly I don't think it's the message he was referring to
I always assumed it was her expecting Lewis as he comes around for taxes.

After watching another UA-camr ACTIVELY search for the living hat for 300 days in Stardew, I screamed with excitement when I found it in year one on my latest play through! I made a whole outfit around it and everything.
Tea Sets! My favorite. They are even rarer than you mention here. None of the children characters can give them to you either. So you can add Leo, Vincent, and Jaz to the list. You can up your chances of getting one by resetting the day and entering the festival at a different time. The gift is chosen based on the position of the villager when you enter the festival. Some villagers like Pierre stand still the whole time and can only give you one gift. But some like Abby move a whole bunch and are almost guaranteed to give you a tea set if you reset enough.

"weeds" is actually an item but it got patched in 1.4. if you still have a save with it, you can have it on 1.5 even though you could only get in in 1.3, so i would say its pretty rare, and i actually have it!. also great video btw!

I'm pretty sure it was from breaking a mushroom tree seed in 1.3, if you placed any I'm pretty sure it just turned into weeds
@@nathanielwright8157 yeah i found out it was rare and patched from a post on reddit. mushroom tree seeds item did not exist, and when you broke a mushroom tree seed that spawned from mushroom tree, that item had a chance to drop.
So we mobile players can get that? Its been 1 and a half year ofno 1.5 update for mobile players since 1.5 came out on pc

I actually got the tea set on accident when alex gave it to me at the festival. Didn't know what it was but it looked cool, so i placed it in a chest. Glad I didnt throw it out LMAO

I didn't know it was rare when I got it on my multiplayer world, but my friend freaked out when I got it so I flexed having it on him 😂.

Every couple hundred hours I say the same thing to myself. And even the people in thousands of hours still learn things everyday it's amazing.
I have 371 hours and I still haven’t had a complete play through. I have a tendency to start a play through, forget about it, and by the time I remember I have the urge to start a new one. I’m stopping this habit because I’ll never get through any game. I just started a new vanilla farm and I’m gonna try to get as close to 100% as possible.

Theoretically couldn’t you get all of Penny’s 14 heart event items if you have players in multiplayer marry her? Im almost 100% positive that heart events play once per player. And since the other players aren’t you they should be able to trigger that heart event. I mean you would have to have them upgrade their house and go through all the steps to marry her and 14 hearts. But then you could get all the items!
That's exactly what I was about to say! I'm not sure if it's true, but it does make sense.
Ooh good point. I have 3 upgraded cabins on my farm (I did solo split screen upgrades) so I might have to experiment with that :)

@@somedragonbastard Not quite. Only 1 person can be married to Penny at a time. So they'd have to marry her, have the 14 heart event, divorce her, then have the next player marry her and so on.
My theory on what ConcernedApe was talking about at the end is the Joja CD's you fish up as trash. The description says "It's a JojaNet 2.0 trial CD. They must've made a billion of these things." My theory is that you get some special message for actually getting a billion, and maybe you can no longer find them.
I got two living hats and didn’t even know they’re that rare. I kept only one to wear. Edit: I also got a three paintings from the night market. My luck usually sucks, so I don’t what is happening in my world.
Yeah I bought the Land of clay one, the others just didn't interest me.

Those three paintings have a 100% chance of appearing, he just called them rare because it's available one day at the night market every 3 years

i think the rarest stardew event that happened to me was i acctually saw the sea mosnter once :)
i even have it recorded on my Switch ( thank god it has that feature or no one would believe me)
I believe you can get all of penny’s heart event items by making new farmers having them join the multiplayer farm get penny to 14 hearts and choose an option you haven’t chosen, then they remove the items throw them to the main farmer and divorce penny, letting another player marry her and get the final set of items
I want the Strange Capsule to turn out to be something. Replace Pierre with an alien or something. Give Shane a demo-dog pet or something. Anything!
Hmm... Maybe have the entire Standard Farm cleared and covered in wheat with the Strange Capsule in the middle... Then wake up the next morning to find a "Crop Circle" message? :D
people have said the strange capsule causes a strange shadow to appear sneaking around in pelican town at night! but i’ve never encountered it knowingly myself
@@aries3985 wait for real? OMG I SAW THAT TOO AND I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST MY IMAGINATION. After the capsule was broken I saw a black figure run into the bushes right at the corner of the screen. It was visible for like one or two frames. And I've never encountered that again.

Every time this "undiscovered secret" from ConcernedApe comes up I think about the obscure statues around town. Additionally, thanks for pointing out another way to get the silly green hat! I got the three paintings by chance because I just decided to buy them in year 3 since I love snakes and what the heck, got one already, go for them all! The Movie is a very obscure one that I might try to get. Lastly, I gave up on Maru because Demetrius creeped me out around their two heart event and went for Penny. No regrets and the Strawberry room is so cute I never touch it!

Well, from watching Argon's Ironman challenge, apparently there are some clothes that only are obtainable through marrying Emily. (also, one single top, that's only obtainable when creating your character) Now seeing that Penny can give you other rare items makes me wonder what else I'm missing out on, from only ever having gone with Sebastian and Krobus.
I just got the living hat on my first day on my newest farm. I have over 400 hours in stardew. I honestly didn't know it was rare because I didnt know it existed.
Great video! Another good addition is the “boat painting” which requires you to play on the beach farm which is equated to hard mode :)
in my 100% completion save file, within the first spring and summer of sdv, i managed to get : 2 meteorites, three owl statues (💀), that lizard looking thing that appears in the ocean TWICE and a living hat... i didnt use a preset seed or wtvr for this save file, so im just so confused on how i was so lucky 😭
The owl statue and mysterious capsule are alot less rare, but I believe the sea monster still is
@@Alykia it isn't, i dont believe its a 0.5% chance anymore it may be a 5% chance. but 3 within the first 58 days is questionable 😭
Can I say, if somebody has furniture from Penny’s heart event from more than one option, they could’ve got a second player to marry her and pick a different option
I'm happy you didn't mention the crop fairy, the alien, the stone owl, the sea monster, etc. Now I have to go get that living hat...
I kept the alien tank thingy because i know after it hatches you get the random creepy bus scenes but i keep that tank in my chest so it can never fully incubate lol
Could that secret be the runes on the walls of the skull cavern, indicating the wizard had banished the monsters there? But it's evolved into more of a Mr Qi type area?

What about the iridium krobus statue? That could be considered a “post game item” and it’s probably a lot more specific to obtain than the movie poster

it's a 100% chance and isnt limited to a specific time, just requires you to fish in the right place with the right fishing level
I had no idea the living hat was so rare! I got it without even realizing I had it at first, and I just finished my 100% Perfection file today, so it is crazy knowing how lucky I got even in a really long save. Without ever fighting a wilderness golem too!

The "yet to be found" message is likely referring to the deciphered messages on the Plaques that appear in the Skull Cavern!
Nah, dates don't line up. People found out the pigeon cipher messages within, like, a month or two of its release (which is nuts)
Whatever seems to be implied is definitely of similar nature but... has never been found.
What about the iridium Korbus statue? Needing ginger island for an enchanted fishing rod, fishing10 and sea foam pudding as well as knowing the exact spot and getting a perfect cast seems rare enough
doesnt need enchaned fishing rod, you only need iridium rod, max fishing lvl and the sea foam pudding

The Living Hat is one of the luckiest things that happened in my life. I was playing the game normally on a new file and on the fourth day I got it. Didn’t even realize it.

I actually got the serpent painting, I have put it inside of my house few years ago both IRL time and ingame time and had it placed there for so long I might have the other ones too but I always have the serpent there each time I wake up

And there's the Work Boots. If you play remixed mine chests there's a 1/6 chance (according to seed, so resetting the day won't change it) to get them in the first chest. Otherwise the wiki says there's a 0.012% chance to get them in a fishing chest. Seeing as how you'd need to maximize luck to give you ~50% chance to see a chest when fishing, and the time it takes to fish for chests, you're more likely to get a few living hats before seeing the Work Boots assuming you chop weeds periodically.

You can get all three Penny things legitimately if you have two friends and a little over 100,000 gold.
I only have 40 hours on Stardew. I got the living hat in day 1 and was annoyed I couldn’t put it into the shipping container 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Actually once you redo your bedroom with penny, if you have the furniture catalog all the items from all 3 choices will be it
the thing with penny’s exclusive decor sets- the exclusivity is no more! after 1.6, now there is the Desert Festival, and each of the village NPCs have a chance to host their own sale each day of the festival, and if she hosts a sale, you can buy any of the decorations from her!
Whoa! The fish painting and the desert mountain landscape painting are the ONLY paintings I have hung up on my walls, and I had no idea they were rare.
Is it the one where Abigail asked about birth control? Because I got that on day one of a playthrough and it confused me.

She was shopping at the general store and then I tried to talk with her and she mentioned buying birth control. It was a while back so I don’t remember word for word but I’ve never seen her say it since.

Do you have any mods installed? I don't recall that line of dialogue. Word searching on the wiki in the quotes section doesn't seem to give anything

oh! last winter in my save i saw those three paintings! i only bought land of clay and that snake one though, cause the fish was boring to me, I didn't know it was rare :')
I saw the snake and instantly knew I needed it, it just spoke to me. and land of clay is pretty cool.
You will never get Iridium quality Octopus and Legend in normal playthrough because of our limit of fishing skill. You can get it by using big fishing bar that cover all top from bottom.
I somehow got two living hats in my first ever game (before year 3 I might add) and I've never found them in any other save file. I have over 1000 hours in this game but that first save is the only time I found a living hat; I had no idea they were rare at the time

Oh, snap. I had no idea about Penny having a set of items one time only. I'm really surprised wiping her memory doesn't allow access to the others. I'm slowly marrying and divorcing everyone, so I have a big choice ahead of me.
Yup! I'm assuming it's just because some character scenes include other characters, and it wouldn't make sense for the characters that didn't have their memory wipe to be in the scene again. It was just simple to not have the scenes replay.

I think that Concerned Ape is lying about the secret tbh. With how hacked and ripped the game is, I don't think it's possible that anything remains undiscovered
I mean you never know, theres quite a few games that are much older then Stardew that have had new discoveries even after players took apart the code many times over.
I really don't think so. Very believable that there's one line of dialouge that has become irrelevant and in the first place was super obscure.
Things that stand out are discovered very easily, like new items and stuff, but it's very believable that 1 singular line of dialogue remains hidden somewhere.
I was shocked to get the Living Hat by accident when starting a new farm on Day 1. I didn't even really chop that many weeds. I figured I'd never ever get it. Now, even though I never play that save file, I keep it because I don't think I'll ever get that lucky again, haha.
I love collecting the movie posters! The Zuzu City Express poster was one of the first ones I got! :D

I've got the 'Living hat' in the mines and I got the tea set on my first Stardew Saved File from Sam and I also got the trash can lid hat. Each of them is on my three saved files.
1:46 I got it on my first year of my first playthrough but at the time I didn't know it was so rare.
I managed to get the Living Hat on day 1 of my recently started farm ! I didn't even realize how rare it is until I watched this !
the tea set has been my first ever gift, in my first ever play of this game like many years ago when the game wasn't well known as today. And not only that, it has been my first gift in any other playthrough until some years later, so I always thought it was the first gift to receive on christmas. I couldn't go search it as it wasn't a known game, seeing it's so low-chance to get just really make me go crazy at how fortunate I was all those years ago I hated that thing.
I watched that stream with CA and must have missed that part about another unfound secret. That has me so curious now! I must find it!

I remember, in my first playthrough of SDV with my husband, I received both the tea set on our first Winter Star and the leaf crown randomly.
This is such an incredibly niche question so I don't know if anyone would know but - if I marry Penny, divorce her, and then *player two* marries her.. Can they trigger the cutscene and pick a different outcome?
I got the tea set my first save file year one :) George gave it to me and I didn’t like George and I threw the tea set on my table the game gives you (I hadn’t even bothered decorating much of my house or got any upgrades) and I was genuinely shocked it find it was considered rare

I got my living leaf hat in my year 2 year of my first ever playthrough, and my teaser that same winter. First now learned that they were rare, just thought it was cool for my horse to be wearing camouflage :D

I thought the Tea set was a stardew expanded thing because when I installed the modpack and the Christmas party was going on, Shane got me one and I just thought nothing of it at the time.

i got the tea set and i think all of the paintings you showed it took a total of 11 in game years and i didn't know they were rare i just have a shopping addiction so EVERY time i go to the night market i buy the painting no matter if i already have them
i remember on my first save i got the living hat somewhere around day 8 of spring in my first year. i deleted that save file a couple years ago and i've regretted doing that ever since

I got the tea set my first Winter Spirit thing. I got it from Pam, and I assumed it was because I had interacted with a lot of the stuff in mayor Lewis' house
The secret that hasn't been discovered could be related to the box behind jojomart, the other 3 boxes give a statue when interacted with but there is an identical box behind jojomart/movie theater that you can't interact with in the same way
I also thought that, it looks suspiciously like the others, doesn't it? But how could the secret statues become irrelevant?
I’m on year 4. And the past 2 years in a row I got the tea set… it would be funny to get it this year.
I actually got the living hat randomly in the trash on my first save. Recently I got it on my 4th save digging through the trash again on year 2.5.
I haven't gotten the trashcan hat yet or the tea set!
I have a save file that got the living hat in the first week of spring just by randomly cutting weeds and then the stone owl during that same first winter.... I had no idea how crazy that was!
The tea set can only be given by any ADULT except the ones you named. So you cannot get it from Jas or Vincent either. Leo also shows up to The Feast of the WINTER Star (not North Star as said in the video) once he moves to Pelican Town, so that just skews your odds for getting matched with someone who can give you the tea set even more since Leo is a kid. So the numbers in the video are a bit off. They should be 22/29 before Leo moves to town or 22/30 odds after to get a secret Santa who can give you the gift, so slightly worse odds than shown in the video. It's also worth noting for those who really want it, that provided your secret Santa is someone who can give it to you, you can just keep resetting the day until you get it, because the gift you receive is determined at the moment you receive it, as opposed to being tied to the day based on the seed or anything like that.
Emily also has some items for the player that can only be obtained by marrying her, and since I'd wager most people don't marry multiple NPCs during a run just to obtain such items, I would also include those items on this list. Not to mention some of the secret statues since many people won't know they exist without explicitly looking up Stardew Easter eggs.

I also wonder if that interview was before certain messages in the game were deciphered. If so, then it's possible what he was referring to has been found since then.
You could get all the items from penny if you have friends to help you. If they both marry her once and choose a different theme
