7 months ago, one and a half months before my 46th birthday… I put my .45cal, Colt 1911 to my head and pulled the trigger. The round misfired and in my angry blind insanity, I threw the weapon at the floor. When I was distracted, my daughter kicked it under the couch and my wife and brother distracted me enough till I left the house. I came back home to police that handled me at gunpoint in front of my home. I talked crazy business to the officers and they treated me a little roughly. My psychotic lapses can be quite intense and I can be quite abrasive and unpredictable/violent, so I get it.
I was lucky that I got to spend a week in the psych ward, instead of becoming ash that was spread into Lake Michigan.
The message of these three musical pieces are already quite moving, but the ending of part 3 is SOOO powerful and intense for me. And quite honestly… it’s exceedingly rare that a piece of art, moves me in such a genuine and eye opening way. Now… even though I’m not in a wheelchair, I deeply identified with Ren’s character at the end. So much so, that I instantly choked up with tears.
Amazingly moving.
Well done Ren!!! Absolutely stellar work.

My favourite music is 60s/70s rock. Before my time but I felt that musicians expressed themselves more freely then.
I never thought that I'd find an artist that would impress me as much as Pink Floyd.
Thanks to the Internet, artists now have a platform to produce what they want and boy has that produced one of the most unique and gifted talents ever to grace the industry.
Ren has suffered to get to where he is now and although a curse for him, for the rest of us it is a gift.

It is just a mindblowing artistic feat on its own. And I propose that this is only possible independently on youtube. I can't imagine any major label greenlighting this.

I really love the way Ren straight up tells you the message. It’s upfront and he quite literally tells you that “this is not entertainment.”, but instead it’s a message which feels as though it’s being told directly to you. You can really see how the passion flowing from every frames of the video and every second of the song. Ren, you inspire me and hopefully have inspired a whole generation. Please keep up the good work.

I am a 72 year old man, once America and now Canadian. I have been following you for going on 6 years, as best I could before your new success has made it a lot easier. LOL You may or may not realize it but many songs and efforts from my youth are reflected in your music. We fought the good fight back then, also. And, at one point in time we thought we were winning, but it was an illusion. It is sad than many of those songs and feeling are just as true today as back then. Very sad. Your music transcends those songs and are put in a way that trike people in new ways. The war was not won. I'm not even sure how many battles we may or may not have won, but we tried and now, I am tired. This is quite seriously one of the greatest things I’ve ever heard. The way you write this song forces listeners to hear the lyrics and what story is being told. It’s a complete departure from the previous songs. The other two were comparatively upbeat, but this one is just a swarm of emotion that won’t stop coming. Massive, MASSIVE round of applause to you. Similar to the way the opening verse and the verse where it speaks about Jimmy's first words and walking...The entire money game trilogy comes full circle in this song. "Rain, rain, rain, rain...A storm it comes our way. And those who rise through distorted lies, poison in their veins," The chorus from the original Money Game 1 and 2...It comes full circle with the ending of the story where Jimmy comes in soaking wet from being in the rain. And he has his finger on the trigger of a money game, but this time, the gun is aimed at himself, not at the others that he wanted to profit off. Money does not equal happiness. You can only find that from within yourself through love, patience, and respect for yourself and others. I think it's pretty clear that this is the message here. Chasing wealth and fame over everything and everyone will not only NOT bring you joy, it will destroy you. It will eat you from the inside out. Like mold growing on the surface of a petri dish, people chasing wealth will consume, consume, consume, but eventually they will die with a broken heart and a rotten soul.
Ren...you are an inspiration and an incredibly talented, intelligent and gifted artist. Keep killing it!

I also have to ask on the off chance that you see this Ren. Was this a one take?
