I have a very good friend who is going through the immigration process here in America and I have been preparing all of his South Africa favorites just to give him a little taste of home. So far he has been pretty impressed that I was able to pull it off and I really think he has enjoy it, as I have because for me it’s all new dishes. I made him pepper steak pie , he was amazed when I had him over for Boerewors Sausage! Now I want to cook Peri Peri chicken livers and Bunny Chow. Thank you for posting
Such a huge pleasure. Appreciate the fact that you enjoy our videos. So glad to hear your friend also enjoy your cooking. Thanks for the ongoing support. Stay safe hey. 🔥🔥👍
As an immigrant from South Africa, ( 30 years ago, ) I'm impressed with your hospitality. FYI Boerewors means farmer's sausage. Having grown up in Durban, I miss Bunny Chow. Nando's Chicken is another favorite. Marinate chicken thighs in Nando's Peri-Peri sauce Garlic medium spicy for 8 hours then BBQ , seriously tasty. Veggi or beef Samoosas are also winners. Check it out.
Luister ou boet, al was ek en my vrou in Durban gebore, woon ons nou al dertig jaar in America. Enough said huh? Other than my wife's sisters, we mostly miss South African food, such as Bunny Chow, ( mutton or chicken, ) Boerewors, Biltong, Sausage Rolls, Samoosas, Melktert, koeksisters, Vetkoek, ens. Thanks for the presentation, however, we're not familiar with a number of the spices you mentioned, such as, Kasmiri chilli, Durban Curry Powder, Soomph Powder and Dhania Powder. We recognize Garum ( Masala ) powder. Is Dhania the same as Corriander ? Can you help out with some translations or suitable substitues ? We would really like to give your recipe a try. Baie dankie, thanks a bunch and siyabonga kakhulu, muches gracias.
Bunny chow is my favourite. Every time we go to Richards Bay it has to be a bunny chow at K n K Curries at the harbour 👍 Thanks for the video, keep them coming and help our bellies to keep expanding 😂
Hey Snakes I get you. The curries are always a winner especially if well prepared man. Thanks again for the support. ya the bellies are also a problem lol...🔥👌🔥👌
I just made a chicken curry bunny chow last week Thursday. My first time I tried it and I used a curry masala from one of my local shops in Krugersdorp. I used chicken breasts only, and I must say it tasted very good for a first timer. Thanks for the awesome video bud.
