The ordinary can do no wrong in my opinion and despite everything I've ever tried to get rid of deep lip lines the ordinary retinol 0.5% rubbed onto the lines every night for a week has been an absolute game changer.

I so appreciate how you show us the application process on the products. Especially for something like a makeup remover seeing is definitely believing on how effective it really is! And for the sunscreens descriptions like dewy and glowy give me a general idea of what I'd be interested in, or not, but getting to see how it sits on your skin is so so helpful for deciding if that's a product I'd enjoy

I love that Byoma facial spray but I hate the mister. It does not release a fine mist; instead, the droplets are huge. And you think you’ve directed the spray in one area but it hits in a different area. So I started spraying it in my palms and patting it on my skin like an essence.

In terms of aluminum packaging for creams like that, the best way to avoid the "spluge" when opening is to tap the other end on the table/counter, and it will settle below the spout part of the tube. I am so excited for this Bliss product - I'm not anti-silicones by any means, but I find dimethicone to be too heavy for my skin where I live most of the year in South India, so I am always looking for great moisturizers without it. This and Rovectin are on my list for the next time I visit the US.

The best mineral SPF i've ever used is the Summer Fridays one. Not sure if you consider it "tinted" since it has caramel as a coloring agent to mask the white cast, but it doesn't tint skin at all. It also lacks the pastiness or mattifying effect most mineral SPFs have as well. If I weren't to read the INCI I would think it's either a purely chemical SPF, or at least, a mixed one. Amazing formulation! Too bad it's pretty expensive and not a drugstore product. You can't have it all, I guess.

I just placed my first G&G order! C-Glow, A-Game 10, and Jelly Joker.
Shipping is free to the USA if you spend more than 60 Euros; 9 Euros if you spend more than 30 Euros. [They work only in Euros, your credit card company will do the conversion.] It sounds like a lot, but a) they use a very fast shipping method, B) their prices are so low, even with the shipping, it's a bargain.
For example, the A-Game 10 is replacing a tube of Medik8 Crystal Retinal. The Medik8 cost over $100 ... my total G&G order, including shipping, was about $42.

I really like Byoma products so far, I’ve only tried the cleansing balm, the hydrating serum, and the moisturizing gel cream. I don’t mind the cleansing balm smell at all, it’s actually quite pleasant to me, but to each their own. I really love how glowing my skin is afterwards from each product. I think my favorite is a toss up between the cleansing balm and the hydrating serum. I’m obsessed with serums, but it’s really good, and has no scent, and my skin honestly does feel, as it claims, hydrated afterwards. The isn’t a smell to the gel cream. It’s not bad. Honestly, besides the serum, and cleansing balm, I feel like their other products, you aren’t really getting that much for the price, you’ll know as soon as you lift one of the products off the shelf, they feel like the weight is all in the packaging, and it’s hollow inside, not containing much. I’m other words it’s very light. It may not seem like a lot of money, but when you buy more than four products, it really begins to add up, just like any product nowadays tbh. I really love their designs and the ingredients and the packaging shows what each ingredient is added for. It’s everything I want in a product and will definitely be buying more of their products in the future, but maybe not the spf, I like getting more product for my buck, every time I go for it and pick it up I look at the price and feel the weight I end up putting it back. The serums tho, hehe, I’ll be back for those babies!

Its a nice idea, but you aren’t supposed to mix sunscreen formulas with anything since they’re spf tested with exactly that formula. Adding anything could compromise your UV protection. There are some lines like Ilia and Colorscience that have tinted mineral spf that are safe to do this worth tho (since you’re only mixing up the same sunscreens with different tints)!

@@grespinosa I've been loving Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream for Very Dry to Dry, Sensitive Skin...the kind in the tub...on my face and neck even though it's not marketed for that purpose or for oily skin. But I love it because it's very bland and non-irritating, it moisturizes beautifully and it doesn't clog my pores. I've tried lots of moisturizers but so far, that one's been the best. It is a water cream, so you might not like it. Its the EXACT formula as Aveeno's Calm and Restore oat gel moisturizer, in the little beige tub. The only difference between them is that Aveeno uses oat and centella while the Neutrogena uses niacinamide and panthenol.

I just got the new Ordinary cream cleanser and the NMF + Beta Glucan. I haven't tried the cleanser yet, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to love it. I'm excited about the gel moisturizer because of the awesome ingredient list and because it is a lightweight gel that I can layer under sunscreen this summer without feeling greasy and heavy.
I tried the Byoma Cleansing Balm and didn't love it tbh. I felt like I had to use A LOT more than the recommended amount in order to feel like I had enough slip, especially when taking off eye makeup because I don't want to feel like I'm pulling the skin around my eyes. I also did not like how deceiving the packaging was! It was bulky and the product was only in the center circular area, but it's a big square. It did remove my makeup when I used enough product, but I will not be repurchasing it!
I'd love to try Geek & Gorgeous, but I wish it was more readily available in the States so I don't have to buy a bunch of products that I've never used before just to justify shipping.

I dislike the Byoma cleansing balm with a fiery passion. It is waxy, smells bad, makes my skin burn, and doesn’t even remove Thrive mascara. Byoma has terrible and borderline fraudulent packaging (1/2 the volume inside than the package outside implies). Hard pass except for the mist that you recommend. BTW, I am loving the Kose Softymo cleansing oils (I have the light and the make up removing). The price is very right, there is no scent that I can perceive, and it works great. I buy the refills on Amazon and transfer it into my own reusable packaging. Have you tried those cleansing oils?
