After watching this video I set myself the challenge of using a sheet mask every night and for me I’m loving the results! My skin feels more hydrated and smoother and like Tina if I got the start of some breakouts they just seemed to go away. I’m going to keep this up (I’ve bought multipacks of masks rather than individual masks) thank you Tina for putting me on to this step in my routine ❤
I’ve been so busy but I’m definitely going to go back to doing a face mask every morning and night or at least every night 😅. It would be great to see a 30 day eye cream challenge e cause I struggle with the eye cream in my routine 😭. Great video Tina 😊🧡
I personally try to do a hydrating sheet mask every alternate day because the facial lady said my skin was a bit dry even though I religiously follow a good skin care routine. Sheet masks definitely makes my skin more hydrated and plump, to the point that I get compliments. I feel that my pores are a bit smaller, and it expediates the healing from pimples. Also, as I have sensitive combination skin, I always wash off the mask essence and use my regular skin care products that are non comedogenic. Otherwise, I sometimes get a pimple because the mask essence is too rich or comedogenic.
I use face masks (both store bought and making my own with compressed sheet masks) almost everyday and especially around my period - the lack of breakouts during my period from using them is so real. My skin is so soft too.
For the Nameraka Honpo Agung Care sheet masks I have found that the first several masks at the top definitely don’t have enough essence in them but as you move to the bottom ones the experience improves DRAMATICALLY! I went from being pretty underwhelmed to loving them. Next time I’ll try storing them “upside down” for a few days before starting to use them to see if it helps. There definitely seems to be enough essence in there to coat all the masks. EDIT: just got to the point in the video where you mention you started storing them upside down and it helped. Lmao. I’m glad it works! 🤣🤦🏻♀️
Thank you for a great video. I sheet mask daily, 59 years old, dry skin. I use the Japanese brand “Spa Treatment” beta glucan essence on a moist face before applying the sheet mask. Game changer!
Thanks for talking about the cons!! You are so detailed and take into account so many factors, was surprised that you mentioned eco-friendliness, thank you! 😊😊
Hi Tina, this video is insane thank you ❣️ My favorite sheet mask is a compressed sheet mask with hatomuguri skin condition toner. I have acne prone skin and also it is very sensitive, I use it after every shower and it helps soothing and hydration in a five minute. Maybe it helps for the people that skin type like me bc according to my observation best sheet mask is your favorite toner with compressed sheet mask for acne prone and sensivite combination skin 👌🏻
What a difference! Unfortunately, I can’t do a daily sheet mask 😅. I did read a tip to use a sheet mask after a shower. It will keep the face hydrated while I am doing body care and hair care. Also, I have see compressed sheet mask at Daiso. Have you tried it? If so, what are your thoughts?
I've tried a daiso sheet mask. I used it with the hatomugi skin conditioner. It wasn't too bad, absorbed quickly and fit well on the face. However, it dried out a little more quickly and maybe because the hatomugi toner is a little more watery, I felt like it was more effective just to do multiple layers of toner with my hands. However, I've recently got the cushioned toning sheets I also found in daiso and I found they hold the toner better without drying out too quickly. The compressed face mask is more convenient because they have little plastic capsules to pour the toner or essence straight into without any spillage but it is a little more plastic than the other pads which come in a paper box. Overall, I'd rather invest in packaged sheet masks with a dedicated essence than the daiso ones, but they are rather good for dumping in the packaging of the one from the night before to absorb the leftover essence. That was a lot of words but hopes this helps
This is perfect timing for me. I've been looking into compressed masks to use with my toner (never used one). These days (my skin type changed), in the morning I put on toner, and then it disappears instantly, and so does my serum, and my mucin on top of that. Also I use the Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream moisturiser and it doesn't disappear, but I use it morning and night and my skin feels normal not long after using it. My face is much better after my showers, because the room is humid as heck and I quickly lock that hydration in. But in the morning, it's no where near as much hydration, so I'm thinking of doing a compressed mask every morning for a few minutes. Those Japanese large lack ones look pretty cool. I found with wet-wipes that they do get drier over time, so I wonder if that would be the case here too. Wait they're often about a dollar per mask, screw that. Just gonna do the compressed ones. I wonder what the price tally would have been for all these products used. 21:11 - OH, storing them upside down is some big-brain stuff. I think it's mostly evaporation since the last remaining ones will be rather dry, but getting that liquid to the top is a good idea, or maybe only doing that once they start getting a bit drier partially from gravity, since the first ones are already the best. Seems like it would be better to cut not between the eyes, but rather from the nostrils to the eyes, and then it would lay flat between the eyes AND on the sides of the nose. Cool video.
Konnichiwa! ❤ Wow! Good idea 👍🏻💡 I have seen such big difference in my skin since I started layering my toners. So I think this with the sheet masks can be beneficial for my skin too! 😉👌 BTW: I love House Of Dohwa too!! ❤ Take care and have a blessed weekend!! ❤
I tried the saborino morning mask and it BURNED 😢 I was so excited to have a quick little morning sheet mask thing, but the ones I bought have menthol, and have a ton of essential oils REALLY high up on the ingredient list. I don't mind fragrance, but I've never had such an immediate reaction 😭😭
I wish I can sheet-mask everyday, but my skin doesn't like sheet masks, especially the ones with too much essence, ie. korean sheet masks..may be I can look into trying the japanese sheet masks..
The Keana rice masks are pretty mild for me and not irritating. You could also DIY masks by buying the compressed sheet masks and adding as much/little skin care to them as you want
@@HUMANSALAd666that's a really good idea. I do that very often. I know that Alice In The Rabbithole (she has a channel here on UA-cam) also does that and talks a lot about that on her channel. One DIY mask that she does (and she has dry and acne prone skin that is reactive/sensitive) is with a compressed sheet mask and the Anua 77% Heartleaf Toner. I've done that one too and it's very soothing. 🌻
Not sure why, but the Cica Houttuynia Tea Tree Calming Mask destroyed my face! I was so allergic to something in there. My face usually LOVES Cica and Tea Tree so I was very surprised. I'm still recovering from what looks like a bad sunburn 😭I did also get the Lululun sheet mask after one of your other vids so i'm hoping I'll have better luck with that one!
I start to watch your video since last year. And I must say my skin is nothing like before. My skin is glowing girl. Thank you🙏🙏🙏. Love from India and I also recommend your yt channel to my friends because your videos are so informative and helpfull. You recommend products that are affordable. Loved your this video also. You literally shoot 30 day's routine. That shows how honest your reviews are. My favorite video is your pore care... Loved it❤❤❤. I have a request for you. @@sailork8848 well just bc it worked for you, that doesn't mean it works for everyone. Im just warning people that if they do it they are taking the risk to ruin their skin. Have a nice day : )
@mlg3323 you are probably using masks that don’t suit your skin type or are not wiping the excess serum off properly with the sheet mask you take off. If you are acne prone and clogged pores prone most masks everyday are too moisturizing/pore clogging. More refreshing ones are best used and mild ones to balance skin and control acne. Tina has more dry/dehydrated not very acne prone skin so it works for her.
Honestly do not do this 😂. She did not force you to do it. She was only providing her own experience and opinion. Plus she find it also waseful and took alot of time for her to do it.
U can meet this midway by putting a sheet on alternate days. Just get those 30 sheet boxes to reduce waste. I've been doing this for a few weeks and for the first time in my life new acne didn't appear
